  1. SP2 was a previous early version during beta testing I think.... You can get SP3 here (Early release) /topic/66731-topic/?do=findComment&comment=900118
  2. The pack should be discharging at about the same rate from each cell. Thinking the battery pack needs replacing or maybe defective wiring...., Since it has done this since it was new you might contact your vendor ....here is a screenshot showing what my battery discharge per cell is..:
  3. I really see no botched chip...... Evolv seems to provide accurate spec's on efficiency variances between "buck" (97%) and "boost" (85%) technology. Looking at the spec sheets of some China chips I see that the efficiency ratings of "buck", "boost", and "buck-boost" are identical (93%).... I am inclined to question the validity of the China spec sheets, so maybe someone can answer my questions. My questions are: ..... How is it possible to have identical efficiency no matter what the technology employed with China chips? Could the 93% efficiency rating be only the average of efficiency over all technologies (buck, boost, and buck-boost)?
  4. Don't recall ever hearing of a DNA frying a computer and I have charged Evolv stuff for at lest 5 years now from computers via USB...... I checked mine again and when I fire the DNA while charging the charging amps drop to 0.002amps and rise again when no longer firing. So I guess your DNA charges normally now via the computer?
  5. So what fried on the computer? What is your DNA battery level?
  6. Curious how you are verifying age? Are you requiring a Government ID?
  7. Yep PayPal...... so I went to ebay and ordered the same Vape Supplies without issue and was within 30 cents of the Twenty-dollar order that I cancelled...
  8. Yep. but since my identity has been stolen 3 times in a year I hesitate...... I replied back with my current age (way over 40) (no photo Government ID was given) and told them if that wasn't sufficient then just refund my purchase and cancel the order.... They replied back that my order was cancelled and a refund given.... So if this is going to be the drill in the USA than they are driving internet sales to China I think...
  9. @2legsshrt, as you know the DNA technology is not the same as the SX you are used to using. The SS316 EScribe works very well once you set your settings to get the vape you want. You may not get the same vape using the same temp/wattage/etc you set on the SX. You just need to adjust the settings accordingly to achieve the same vape as the SX. Here is a screenshot of EScribe SS316 profile I use. The temp is currently 400F, wattage set at 25 watts, preheat set at 60 watts/punch 5/duration 1s. I am using a SS316 Notch Coil with a ohm's reading of 0.25. Note the smooth temp line. The Temp Protect is not an error message it just lets you know the temp setting has been reached. This Device Monitor screenshot is using the DNA200 but my DNA75's are set the same and have the same smooth temp graph ......
  10. ENOUGH........ warning.......

  12. The DNA75's had a very smooth vape with SS316 already and the v1.2sp3 improved the smoothness of the DNA200 using SS316. I'm running SP3 and it's working great and smoothed out my 200's.
  13. Can you post a screenshot of Device Monitor (while firing the device) that shows "Cell 1, cell 2 and cell 3" "Current" and "Voltage".....
  14. For a DNA40 type vape on a DNA200:Set Preheat at 45WSet Punch at 5
  15. Go to Mod> Mechanical> Click "Switched" and upload settings to device....
  16. I think you are headed in the right direction in making the DNA40/DNA200's have similar experiences. IIRC a modder I know came up (a long time ago) with "basic deviation formula" to achieve what you are wanting. If I recall correctly it had to do with pre-heat, punch, duration, and temp setting variations. I can't remember what it was now so I've e-mailed the modder to ask for the info. Should I get a reply I'll post it here...
  17. 1. Poor installation of the batteries. 2. Poor connection of the batteries. 3. Poor wiring of the battery sled. 4 Defective battery posts on the battery sled. 5. Dirty contacts of the battery +/_. 6. Dirty contacts on the battery sled +/_. Were the batteries a "married" set. Always used as a pair thus charged and discharged as a set?
  18. Sounds like the parallel battery sled is only giving power from one battery. When you tried to power the device with one battery did you try this one battery in each battery slots and see if it would fire??
  19. About the only other things I can think of is to check for is a bad display such as a cracked display, possible ribbon problem (fractured runs) in the ribbon, or connection of ribbon to the board. At any rate might be worth filling out a "Contact" at Evolv and maybe they could look at it...
  20. Are your devices set to "Maximize Recharges" ? Max charge will be 4.10 Are your devices set to "Maximize Puffs"? Max charge will be 4.20
  21. Why not just run "Battery Analyzer" ? That should analyze your battery capacity and discharge profile.
  22. Only buttons required to lock the power are the up/down buttons.... hopefully @66misfit got it going....he hasn't been back here since May 9th....
  23. Turning off Temp Protect is fine on Kanthal.... try turning down the wattage and see if the flavor returns....looks like you are running the coils at the upper ranges recommended...
