  1. Double checking i was wrong. The mod will power on with one cell. Still not sure why some times one cell wont drain.
  2. I have a Therion DNA75 and sporadically I get low battery with in a short times use. When this happens one battery will be fully charged or close like 4.18v and the other cell will be drained to around 3.4v. The mod will not power on with a single cell in it so I'm very confused as to what's going on. Anyone have an idea what the issue maybe?
  3. in my experience with temp control it takes a little tweaking to get the right vape. the dna200 is an amazing chip just takes getting use to. these are the settings i use for dual spaced coils wrapped on #6-32 machine screws 10 wraps each. flavor is great, i don't hit temp protection and don't lock my ohms.
  4. After having every model of efusion now I'm assuming the duo came programed correctly. My first efusion was the original not long after they came out and I did need to load the file for it, my second was a regular efusion and it came preloaded with the correct settings, same with the mini I purchased. so at this point I am assuming my new duo's settings are correct.
  5. I just got an efusion duo. I haven't had to swap the batteries yet but after reading this I think I'll try changing one battery at a time and see if that keeps the resistance settings.
  6. So a few weeks ago I purchased a PSO S200, which I know is a slightly modified and rebranded Hcigar vt200. Its advertised and sold as having a 1300mAh battery. After 2 weeks I ran battery analyzer. Did 2 loops of 24g kanthal on a velocity deck that came in at 0.98Ohm, ran the test at 40w Came out at 9.78wh no where near the advertised 1300mAh battery. Any one else have an s200 or vt200 come in that low? I talked to one of the guys at the shop I got it from and he said to email customer service to give them a heads up as there just going by what Hcigar is telling them. Wondering if Hcigar is really being this shady and putting in a 900mAh lipo with out saying any thing or if I happen to have a dud battery, which I'd find very odd as they battery stays balanced and performs fine with that one exception of its capacity.
  7. Since its under warranty I'd hate to mess with it and void the warranty. Think I should take it into where I purchased it and have them check it against another one? And yes the Efusion has a spring loaded 510 pin.
  8. black lace yes the batteries are balanced, only time I've seen them not is when I've vaped it to cutoff point one time in which case we are talking one cell may read 3.31, another 3.32, and the third cell 3.30, but within minutes of charging and watching in device monitor all cells were balanced again. The sauce code doesn't have a spring in the center pin, its just a solid brass floating pin that makes contact with the base of the coil head, and the 510 of the mod. I'm noticing even my rda's with ss builds are not reading right in atomizer analyser. I've got a 0.17Ohm build on an rda right now and the efusion sees it as 0.19Ohm. If I lock it in at 0.19 it works fine. If I don't lock it the vape sucks and it doesn't even produce a wisp of vapor. This is how its currently set up, but If I unlock the ohms it does not produce. and this is actually a 0.17Ohm build not 0.19. I'm wondering if room temp has any thing to do with it all or if maybe the mod resistance isnt correct. I'm using the file created by evolv for the Efusion.
  9. DC601 I'll try checking just the base of the tank as you've suggested. First thing I did when I got the Efusion was update its firmware and install the settings file Evolv provided for it.
  10. The coils have NI200 0.15Ohm stamped on them. Hate to have to buy another tank to try these coils in, but I'm really wondering if its the tank its self causing a higher resistance and the issues. I've used non temp Atlantis coil heads in it in the past without issues, but that's not to say it's the same with these ni200 Trition coils.
  11. I've tried cleaning the base up on the tank and I'm getting practically the same results with another coil. So that's 3 coils out of a 5 pack I've tried all read 0.22-0.23Ohms. Ohms jump up and kick out of temp control between uses. Maybe I should try the atty lock and override the Ohms and set it to the 0.15Ohms they should be. From what I've gathered reading evolvs info tanks may need that.
  12. Thanks for the reply's. I checked the code on the box and the coils are authentic. I'll try cleaning up the pin in the base of the tank. I've used other aspire coils in it just fine in the past and they have read correctly. I know the coil head is making contact with the pin as I can push the pin in and when installing the coil it pushes back out. Now how good of a connection I'm not sure so I'll start there. Thanks again.
  13. I picked up some Aspire trition 0.15Ohm ni200 coils for my driving tank, Project sub-ohm saucecode. First I'll say the pack I got are labeled 0.15Ohm, but I've checked 2 of the 5 and both read 0.22Ohms on an ohm meter and on my Efusion. Just working the first one in and it will actually drop ohms and ask new coil every time I adjust settings in Escribe. ex:0.22Ohm coil will drop to 0.20ohm after I upload settings and fire the first time asking new coil. To add to my confusion now after vaping and letting the tank sit for an hour or so now the ohms read 0.34. Vape on it, take the tank off and put it back on and get prompted new coil and ohms drop to 0.27, Anyone know whats going on? Should I lock the Ohms for an ni200 coil when its first used? Kind of confused on this as I've read to not lock a dna200 for it to be accurate. Really appreciate any input to this issue. Edit: To add to the confusion the coil keeps dropping out of temp control between vapes and will only go back into temp control if I lock the Ohm's.
  14. I'm with VapingBad. Maybe an option in Escribe to change it for you guys who want default temp change when in temp mode but don't make it default. I like it set up just the way it is. I set the temp I want then adjust wattage as needed if I want to hit my temp quicker or slower depending on how I'm vaping. And for the couple of times I have changed temp, its not a big deal. takes less than 30 seconds as it is now.
