  1. N80/Ni80 is a good old regular power/watts material (wire). No profile required. Having said that you can download curves from steam-engine or create your own within escribe 'Materials' tab. Welcome
  2. All I can think is that perhaps the coil was not at ambient temp when you went into temp control. Maybe take the atty off your mod, hit the fire button so the mod shows check atomizer, let the atty sit for a bit (say half hour), reinstall atty answer 'yes' for a new coil if prompted. Ideally it'll show a resistance lower than before. If that doesn't work, What kind of atty, and can you describe the coil
  3. Is your mod is actually a 3 button color screen Paranormal 250c? Last I checked the online manual was not for these newest boards. I'd suggest you start with a YT video or two. This one's pretty long but DJLSB Vapes is quite thorough. The 75C and 250C both have the same interface/themes.
  4. What type of material are you using AND post the link for the material file
  5. @Dougvapes If you're using SP17, I'd suggest you upgrade to SP18. Link in my sig
  6. @iltrainu Sp 18 is the latest and works. Link in my sig.
  7. Sp 18 is the latest. Link in my sig.
  8. My Rhombus panels are attached. No suction cup or alternates in the package.
  9. That mod's not Color (unless there's an update from March 2017), VT75D looks decent but not their latest.
  10. There's also a new Vapcige, Thinkvape Finder (2&3 battery), MadModder I believe, JacVapor Scotland. Around my area I'm now seeing mainly unregulated squonk mods, or high nic pods out the ying yang. I'm using my BB as a mtl box at 3x my regular nic when running around.
  11. I wouldn't do that. Lotsa good info here. And welcome.
  12. Yes Choose from the last 3 of your Printscreen. Details for each are on that same link for them.
  13. I'm using my own theme. There are many, some better documented than others. Here's one that I tested, for starters and replay enabled.
  14. SP17 had an issue. I'd use 15 or 18. 18 Intl found here (last post). IIRC, if you look at Profile 2 (Device Monitor), it's called Replay
  15. Can you swap the battery position of those same batteries within that mod, and see if that sag follows the battery. Printscreen afterwards appreciated.
  16. My opinions only Seems like replay is very much based on vw mode? <- Seems so, to me. And this is how I've used it. Do you think it’s even worth getting a replay enabled on tc? <- I do not
  17. Minimum replay requirements: DNA250C or DNA75C (Mods with a color screen) International firmware installed Theme that's replay enabled At least 1 of your Profiles with 'use replay on this profile' ticked, and set for use. BUT Material Type set as 'watts' Coil made from a TC wire (material), like Ni200, SSxxx, Titanium. Easy way: Adjust watts on your mod till you're getting a 'great' puff. After your 2nd puff your screen should be showing something different than the first puff, like (ready, or save puff). Select that option. Ideally your screen should now change to 'replaying' or whatever's in your theme. Your mod will now attempt to duplicate that puff for you, until you quit replay. Similar to TC, you'll get dry burn protection. DJLSB Vapes has a couple good YT videos on these C boards and replay. 'Search' works here for some of the finer points like warmth or boost punch once you get the basics down. Good luck.
  18. In TC you need to talk temperature primarily. Watts (40 in your case) are only required to get your coil up to the temperature you want to vape at, or limit the watts supplied to the coil. Using a SS profile, and set for TC at 40 watts, you can monitor the temp attained and watts used for it. Cool or hot depends on you and your lungs. Maybe start at ~400F, and adjust temp either up or down.
  19. Which coil material should I use: SS 316, SS 430 or Kanthal All will work on your mod in power/watts mode. SS316, SS430 for Replay Why can I set the temperature with a Stainless steel coil Because the wire (material) changes its resistance when power is applied. Same as Ni, Ti, and others. These are your main TC or 'Replay' materials (wire)
  20. @biff If you're running the 'early service pack', it's a known issue (loading themes) and will be fixed in the next update RECOMMENDED SERVICE PACK - EScribe Suite 2.0 SP15.1 EARLY SERVICE PACK - EScribe Suite 2.0 SP17
  21. Answered here.
  22. If you meant reboot, you can do either. The dangerous option is 'restore defaults', that one will reset back to factory (unless the vendor saved their default values).
  23. Hey @hellraiser_lux I'm not copyman BUT if you're running SP17 (which has already been identified as having a Theme Designer issue) you might want to downgrade to SP15, see if you can load the theme, then back to SP17. OR wait for the next release. Just sayin.
  24. My 2 new sealed Paranormals came the same way. Each with 6 puffs, then a reset. IIRC puffs ranged from .5 to 1.5 seconds each. I figure it was just 'test' fires at some point. Seemed reasonable to me, but I had not seen it ever before.
