  2. Geez, be PATIENT folks, some of us waited over 3 years to be able to run Escribe on our MACS! I for one felt it would never happen, but .....
  3. I figured there will a firmware update at some point, was hoping to perhaps be able to edit and add replay to a theme in Escribe while waiting.
  4. Same here, James shared a link for SP13 in the “Mac EScribe Suite Beta Thread”, BUT for some reason NOT in the normal thread for new updates, still showing SP12. I ran SP13, but don’t see any REPLAY fields in Escribe. I only have a DNA75C, but that should not have any affect, correct? I’m using the MAC version.
  5. I saw James post about uploading 2.0 SP13. Don’t see any posts yet, in the DNA250 Color section. Perhaps that category is not yet finished. I’ll check back later.
  6. Glad I searched the board, and of course find you “VapingBad”, as I am still modifying a theme someone here posted. I noticed on some of the screens, especially ones where the author did not include a back button, that clicking on the FIRE button took me back to my main screen. So reading what you wrote above, I looked in Theme Editor wondering if there was a way to REMAP the “fire button”? Since I could not find anything, I’ll assume there is not. But, I’m not sure if the fire button ONLY takes you back to the “previous screen”. In this theme, from “main” screen, select “settings”, then from Settings Screen, choose “Preheat”. From the Preheat screen, clicking FIRE button, takes me back to MAIN screen, NOT the PREVIOUS screen. So is there actually a DEFAULT action the fire button uses? Thanks once again!
  7. BTW the window looks the same regardless of scroll bar indictor in screen shot, I moved the scroll bar up so it could easily be seen. You'll notice there are NO scroll bars other then the one on the far right.
  8. Yes, SP12, on Mavericks 10.9.5. Attached is a screenshot of the Theme Editor full screen on MacBookPro laptop. The ONLY scroll bar is on the FAR RIGHT, and I can scroll down the various menu windows. The bottom middle is were some fields are cut off, but one might not notice unless that menu page has a lot of settings for it. Most menu edit choices don't run down to the bottom of the Theme Editor window.
  9. I would have responded sooner, but as in the past, certain threads I “follow”, even one like this that I started, and choose “email when new responses”, I don’t receive any email notifications. Regardless, THANKS to you both, I would never have found that setting, since it’s kinda buried in the Device Monitor, which of course one has to manually open that screen, and you have to have a mod connected, so it’s not a setting you can edit just by opening Escribe. It does however STICK, and stays in the last state, after removing and reconnecting the device. Also found you don’t need to save setting back to mod, seems it’s basically a hardware switch that turns USB CHARGING “ON/OFF”, as it’s described. Only issue is, if you choose OFF, you can’t charge the device even from a USB wall charger. I was hoping and thought I vaguely remembered long a go being able to configure a setting that ONLY disabled USB charging when I was working with the device, and once removed from laptop, I could still manually charge from wall USB charger. But I’m probably wrong about that as I doubt the device hardware would have any way to distinguish between a USB wall charge, versus a USB charge running off a laptop battery. It’s still a NICE option to have, to AVOID draining ones laptop battery over long Escribe sessions, one just has to REMEMBER to turn USB Charging BACK ON, in device monitor when you are finished with your Escribe session.
  10. I looked at the original theme installed, authored by DJLSBvapes, the reviewer who creates DNA files for a few Mod companies, as well the stock theme supplied by Evolv. And if I click around on the 2nd, "main screen", I can SEE the same results. Seems some elements you can edit have more settings and thus can drop down below a readable area on the bottom of the interface. Some of these windows should be dynamic, so when the info is too long, you get the scroll bar. So I'm going to stick with my original BUG report on SP12 on MacOS. Thanks for the logical suggestion though!
  11. I’m not sure about the text being needed in any of those fields to show up in any “display field”, since the theme I’m editing now let’s me show what I choose to show up in a field. But since I’m just getting into themes, I don’t know. But it’s inclusion in the only two fields in that default Evolv theme might be telling of something? As far as to whether this is only a DNA75c issue or Escribe issue, I would be happy to post it in a more appropriate forum thread. To be honest, I don’t see many new posts overall here in all but a few, “my mod won’t fire” threads. Google mostly points me back here when I search on a DNA issue, and many of the results are still from 2017. For example, I just created a new post on how to disable device charging while connected to a laptop. It used to be possible, but I can’t find any info online, or here regarding this. I love my various DNA mods and boards, and consider them the #1 board. But the limitations of a relatively small company like Evolv in the underdocumation of the devices and now more importantly the software to get the most out of them has been glaring since I’ve been a customer. Relying on mostly volunteers to answer feedback questions is telling over time. Please, just hire someone to monitor this site and create updated online manuals, can it be that expensive? For my part I just posted a bug report with screenshots of an issue with a few of the Escribe MAC screens, hopefully I’ll get an acknowledgement.
  12. I’m using Escribe 2.0 SP12 on MAC. If I recall correctly, in older versions, there was a way to turn off a setting to disable charging when you connect the device via USB to a laptop computer, NOT connected to AC power. When working with a device connected to my laptop, I don’t want it to be constantly draining my OLD laptop battery. I charge my vape batteries in a charger. Thanks!
  13. MACOS 10.9.5. ESCRIBE 2.0 SP12 Here is a screen shot from THEME editor. Noticed this in a few other screens here, NOT just the bottom, but on right side as well where you make choices based on selected window elements. Obviously, if there are "choices" OFF SCREEN, that is not good, and one cannot tell what other choices might be hidden. In screen shot, look at bottom right, near little "hand cursor icon", caught in screen shot. THANKS! Forgot to add, the window in the screenshot was FULL SCREEN on my MacBookPro laptop, using the little "green" DOT, that makes programs and windows, full screen, so NO, there are NO scrolling bars to get to the cut off content.
  14. Well, knowing the device did it's job in limiting my selected temperature, was a SAFETY feature in my opinion, in not over heating my juice to the point of releasing the potentially bad toxins. Now it seems more like blind faith in having immediate feedback on the device, sure one can take the time to review puffs, hook up to Escribe etc., but thats not the point. I think Evolv owes an explanation in removing a "message" that they obviously felt was important not long a go. And just to add to my confusion, if you look at the latest stock version of the generic stock DNA75c theme installed on the boards, look at the "THEME", and then select language. There are ONLY two fields with any text in them, one is "Temp Protect", not sure how this language screen interplays with the themes, I assume if it were important, more of the many fields would be filled in? I'm not trying to be adversarial, but a quick message from Brandon or Evolv could put this to rest, assuming they see this message? I'll add a screen shot of the "language" tab. Thanks for your interest in the topic, don't see anyone else even curious so far about this.
  15. If what you are suggesting is true, and the only way to bring back the “Temp Protect” message, I doubt many would take the time and effort to revive a setting that was in previous Escribe versions as a simple ON/OFF setting. Previously, it was a global “message”, and early on, you didn’t even have the choice to turn it OFF!I guess I’m just going to accept this latest development, and move on from seeing “Temp Protect” messages anymore, though I’m sure many may rejoice, and I’m sure Evolv is glad to not have to deal with the newbie confusion it has caused in the past. I hope and assume all the other, previous SAFETY messages are still hard coded in the firmware. Sure would be nice to hear from Brandon and Evolv on a topic like this that I find a major departure from the previous way the DNA’s worked.
  16. MAC OS 10.9, EScribe Suite 2.0 SP12, new Lost Vape Mirage DNA75C. Just want to confirm, it seems the newer versions of Escribe, NO longer have a menu option to ON/OFF the “Temp Protect” message. I know from the older threads on this subject I participated in, that this message caused some confusion, but I liked it, a visual way to see I was hitting my desired temp limit. In the theme editor, I saw in the long lists of command choices, one for “Temp Protect”. I’m just learning theme editor, and since there is no manual, does this mean I would have to create a place for this message somewhere on the main screen? So far I see no other way to bring that old message behavior back. If anyone that’s enabled this message can briefly explain the best way to do this. THANKS!
  17. Never mind, Found it by scrolling down, DUH! Get a 0.004 resistance reading on new Mirage DNA75C. Seems to be what others are getting exactly, a good sign in terms of production units being the same.
  18. Can anyone tell me where in the latest Escribe 2.0 SP27 has the “atomizer analyzer” GONE? Wanted to use my copper plug to get the internal resistance of a new Lost Vape Mirage. Thanks,
  19. Thanks again for the support. I’ve been on board with TC from the beginning, have mostly moved on from Titanium to SS for my builds. I’ll be curious to play with REPLY after seeing the various reviews online with Brandon of Evolv. As long as I can still vape my rayon wicks dry and never get a dry hit, two of the biggest TC pluses for a flavor changer, it could be a very cool option!
  20. Thanks for the SUPER quick response! I hope you will add the REPLAY feature when that becomes available. Hopefully by then I’ll be up to speed on editing profiles by then, and I won’t need to bother you anymore. As a new Mirage owner, I was surprised not to see more themes for it, yours seems to come up in a search here, as one if not the only one so far that is Mirage centric. Also other generic DNA75C themes don’t include the detailed notes yours does, which says a lot to me about your work. Thanks again.
More of a question then a review. My mirage should arrive tomorrow, I own many DNA75’s, but this is my first COLOR DNA75C. So I have yet to explore all the theme and setting possibilities. From what I’ve read there is some kind of new 100 watt preheat setting, I assume was added to the firmware at some point. QUESTIONS: Does this theme have that “preset” included? Since I don’t own the same battery you have setup, I assume I should change that setting to one that matches my 18650 batteries? Thanks, look forward to trying your theme .
  21. Are you in the USA? I just clicked it again, here is the screenshot.
  22. Just clicked it on an iPad opened fine in Safari. Check your internet settings.
  23. The Chinese mod makers have basically been ignoring all our silly FDA rules and regulations. A newly designed mod comes out almost daily.
