I thought the USB-C was going to be part of the new board? The Mirco USB is kind of out of date.

Not sure why Evolv is being so quiet about the board. I know I’d like them to at least release s spec sheet already.

No C style connection? Micro USB is a little dated now. Why wouldn’t Evolv switch over?

First it was Christmas, then mid January, now who knows. I talk to Ronnie Everett, the owner of Mad Modder Box Mods, and he hasn’t gotten any new news from Evolv yet. Everyone is wondering when this is happening now.

Screen looks a little bigger than the 75c. What are the spec of the board? Are they listed?

Do we have an official release date from Evolv yet on this new board? Anyone with a prototype out there testing it?

I’m waiting for the new 250c board. 75 just isn’t enough watts for me.

We might see the USB-C, but I doubt anything over 2 Amps. Look at the 75c, Evolv gave it 9 volts but only 1 amp charging. Never heard the reason behind that.

Yeah, that where I got it from, the SX 550J. Evolv needs to include this type of connection on the new board.

I thought the 75c uses the new usb C. If so, then this new board definitely will. Evolv should have pulled out all the stops on this one. This should reign supreme for a while.

I’m hoping a higher power C board is coming. 75 watts doesn’t cut it for me. Been waiting for this to drop for a while now. Any official release date yet?

Yeah, I'm waiting. I vape over 100 watts so the 75c would be pointless for me. It's coming, just be patient.

No one is going to say anything. Lol. I've been wanting the exact same information since the 75c was released. I've heard that it's going to be a 300c board and not a 250c. But, it's just hearsay at this point.

I have quite a few 250's. Didn't want to order another mod unless it had a 250c in it. Since no one know when that will be, looks like I'm just going to chill with the mod buying for a bit. Thought about getting the Boxer with the SX 550J board , but I probably wont.

Im definitely not putting down Evolv because they have great products. It's just vapers like me have to wait a long time before we get to experience the C board, if ever really. There's no guarantee that a higher wattage C board is on the way. I hope so or people like me that vapes 100+ watts in power mode and temp mode are getting screwed. Lol. Let's hope one will be released.

I agree. I want all the features that the 75c has to offer, but in a more powerful board. I vape over 100 watts even my builds in temp control. 75 watts doesn't cut it for me.

I know they're not saying anything because they don't want to hurt the sales of the 75c, I get that. For the people like me that are waiting for a higher powered C board, the wait sucks. Lol

You're going to experience a difference between the 2 grades yes because 430 has a higher TCR value than 316l. Going to be more accurate with 430 as well. I'd like to find some SS 410 wire. Has the highest TCR out of all the grades of stainless.

I use the the 316 that comes standard with the 250 from Evolv these days. It's pretty accurate.

I have 6 250's and like 16 or 17 200's so I feel ya. Even with the new firmware on the 200, SS vape in temp control is phenomenal. Now, I'm waiting for the 250c. Lol .I will be getting a 75c just to get my feet wet with the new board. 75 watts is not enough for me. Even right now, I'm running my Theron 133 with fused stainless Clapton in temp control at 90 watts and 440 degrees. Perfect vape going on!!!!!

I usually use advanced vape supply 316l or temco and depending on the style of build, my Temps range from around 470 to 520. Now 520 to me is on the high side when wanting a temp controlled vape, bUT it vapes fine at that temp with no bad tastes. Could be just the way that particular brand of wire is made. That's what I've chalked it up too. I also use preheat with a small punch.

SS Claptons work fine in temp control. I use regular, fused, and triple core and they all work great. Never had a problem.
