  1. I said it..2 and a half years ago..damnit I should at least get my name put up in there somewhere as credit towards the idea.. next time I will patent an ideas and keep my mouth shut lol... I would of certainly loved to beta tested what I feel was my idea cause I certainly back in January of 2017 wasnt seeing or hearing anything about people wanting to use their android based phones to program their DNA devices. Good lookn cegunter87 for letting me know my idea was brought to life. Ahh its 1 of those things that few people could of thought about but just takes that 1 person to get up and actually do it. If I wasn't running an automotive repair facility 7 days a week with a 6 year old and a 5 month pregnant wife I might of actually tried to make the idea come to life cause it was a good one for sure.. much love to all the DNA family out there and HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all!!!
  2. Been a minute since I been on. See there's been some ui changes goin on here. Anywho I just wanted to share my last 4 months of experience with the brillipower pinks. Absolutely amazing in the runtime department. I'm still running them series in a DNA 250 MOD charging them at the end of every day. I decided the other day to vape till dead to see how strong these still were and after 3 full days of chain vaping between 35 watts to 40 watts at the end of the 3rd day there was still 18% charge leftover. I've been sticking with the same one tank for the last month or so same one juice which is the 30mm aromamizer plus rdta with 10ml glass running 24 gauge kernal SS Clapton coil with 32 gauge SS wrap i.d. 3mm 6 wrap. Never a low battery warning or a over temp warning. Been yet another great device with 3 great 18650's imo. The wraps on these batteries is super thick and super sturdy almost to thick for the tight battery compartment of the triade 250. I did have one issue with 1 of the magnets coming out when I took the battery door off but some gorilla glue and she was good to go. The batteries do still fit into the triade despite the thick wraps. Hope this helps someone!!
  3. yeah I definitely see what your saying and would definitely agree with that if it wasn't for my g-shock rangeman with less pixels ability to scroll text rather well enough to read while scrolling. I say if casio can nail it evolv should be able to. Great point imo!!
  4. Any chance well see this in a DNA 250 version anytime soon. Would definitely jump on the DNA 250C. Has a nice ring to it! Also the ability to software upgrade existing big screen boards to successfully run the color screen would be a winner imo, hardware permitting of course.
  5. I would also like to see maybe an option for us already purchased dna board users a screen of the same size but in color to spice things up a bit. Like maybe a battery icon that goes from green to yellow to red as the battery life is depleted. Maybe temperature numbers from white to red as the temperature reaches it maximum set point. Maybe some colors to play around with in the themes section of escribe. Nothing too wild and out of the ordinary but just some basic colors throughout the screen. It would be a new screen that you could purchase and install yourself using the same ribbon wire input jack along with an optional firmware and software update for those users of the new screen. I have good faith in evolve and their ability to get er done...
  6. Lol!! I just happened to see this same exact video yesterday morning. And only because I was thinking about emailing evolve and asking them if they were about to release any new products prior to my dna 250 purchase. If anything good I might of held out, but as I do like this dna 75c it isn't enough to have made me regret my purchase. Thanks retired for pointing this out!!!
  7. As the headline states! I've been using nothing but dna products since my very first month of vapn back in the dna 20 days, sticking with Hana modz products thru there whole overpriced $250 pricetag days. Almost bought a fazed box mod before they went out of business. Never realizing the day would come where we would supply overseas with our own brand of electronics. I have to say for me that was a proud moment to be an American. Hell yeah dna walks all over yihi, always have and always will. Of course evolve invented temperature control, all else have followed!! Anywho to the point, I have to say the new firmware in this dna 250 with its ability to monitor and regulate temperature with stainless steel wire is absolutely amazing. I been vapin nothing but 24 guage s/s clapton wire since I got this thing and it's perfect vapin all the way thru, as if I'm vapin nickel wire in the dna 40 but even better. I half expected not so good results not so much from the s/s wire but from the clapton s/s. That's all just wanted to share my thoughts with anyone bored and interested to read....
  8. thank you. I most definitely will do. Got kind of busy and forgot about this lol. I'm assuming I'll get a response like "we'll we would love the idea but unfortunately it comes down to hardware which doesn't support scrolling text"... well when my casio g-shock master of g multi band 6 rangeman GW-9400 module 3410 supports scrolling text and my dna 250 or 75 can't , we'll I think we gottsa issue here! Idk man I'm not expecting any of my 8 big and or small screen dna 40's to support it but I would think the 75 200 250 should, crap even the dna 60. Well we shall see. If anyone can get it done I suppose evolvvapor are the ones!!
  9. I would very much like to see scrolling text added in the form of an update in the near future on all escribe compatable devices. Would allow for more letters even on the main screen would be nice, for words longer than five letters for the profile name on the home screen. If anything for when switching between profiles would be nice if anything...
  10. And I also want to thank everyone out there for their input, it's always very appreciated. Especially c.b., giz, retired, thank you guys!!
  11. Just a quick edit to the brillipower pink 18650. Been a few weeks now of daily use in the triade 250 and I have to say I'm very pleased with there performance. Would I pay the extra mile over the hg2 or the vtc series batts, no! They take a 2 amp charge in the xtar vc4 rather quick while maintaining cool temps. Technically the xtar divides the 2 amps evenly throughout the 4 bays or 2 amps between the 2 outer bays, 1 amp per cell. Anywho, I average 72% charge leftover every night at the end of a 16 hour day, 40 watts 12ml juice consumption 24 Guage ss Clapton 6 wrap 3.5mm i.d.

  13. ok sounds good. Thanks much CB as I'm about seconds away from walking out the door to go to my parents house to use their computer. I just got this particular mod this week and never hooked it up yet so. Sweet man you couldn't of answered this post at a better time, thank you again. Yeah makes sense considering it in the device monitor section and not with the battery tweak section of the software, that rite there is what confused me why they put it in a totally different spot from the battery section. Appreciate it CB I'll let you know how everything went in a few days. Far as the pink Brillipowers I found a seller that accepts 30 day returns. Idk I can say they do hold a charge little bit more than my HG2'S and definitely bit more than the authentic vtc5's but seem to lack just slightly in the amp output but I am using them in series which helps that part out. Idk yeah they do seem to run slightly warmer than my other batts, nothing that makes me worry but I had to check them out for myself as I always do. I could keep them with no worries but since I got the return I'll probably just return them and try something else out. I'm lookn for the best battery life in your user experience what do you recommend as the longest runtime 18650? And the green Brillipower 26650 is amazing in the dna 75 all way around.. lol idk man!!
  14. actually they hold a charge better than my HG2'S and my authentic vtc5's and as far as amps output I'm running g them in a 3 cell series configuration. No matter what I use I will always get the best possible experience out of them, that's what makes this a hobby for me the fact that I can try new things and tweak as I go. And I learn my way bro, self taught. 20+ years master certified automotive technician which 70% I taught myself and 100% hands on experience taught myself. If you sit back and follow what everyone else says and don't get up and try for yourself you won't get far in life. As far as the batts I got 30 day return either way I'm most certainly not pressed about the $28 I spent on them. Vape on my friend! appreciate all your input as always....
  15. I'm goin off there label listing. There actually more along the lines of 2800 mah. My charger will tell me the mah once I get to fully charge them. No worries as I got a 30 day return period which I'm think of returning and just sticking with my lg's and vtc5's.
