  1. With the new escribe, none of my DNA 200's are flashing temp protection correctly and I like that feature. I have it set to flash 3 times (standard). But it only flashes once, and that's while I'm firing. I have to be looking at the screen while firing or I won't see it. Doesn't do this on my 75's. Hopefully, this gets fixed.
  2. For certain? Just want to make sure because I have a few mods waiting on them. Lol!!
  3. Is the DNA 250 getting canceled?? I heard that it was and I was wondering why?
  4. Ok, thank you. So...go to manufacturer and it will provide everything?
  5. ok, got the new version of escribe. It runs all of the boards correct? The 60, 75, 200, and 250 it's showing. Anyway, I'm updating a new DNA 75 I just received and I don't see the mod tab for the case thermals and battery analyzer and such. Where did it go??
  6. Thank you! It's not a beta version that's going to brick any of my devices is it?
  7. So do I just go to escribe as usual? What do I do to get the new firmware update?
  8. Did Evolv release the firmware update yet to make SS temp control on the DNA 200 as smooth as the DNA 75?
  9. I just got home from work so I'm going to give what you said a shot. Thank You. I will post back later to follow up.
  10. I bought this tool and it only worked on my Lavabox. I have 12 DNA 200's and tested it on 6 of them and it worked in 1. Would there be a reason for this happening? It's not reading the plug at all, just shows a question mark. I don't understand why.
  11. 316l right now at 490. My other efusion mini DNA 200 has SS 430 on top and I'm running that at 420 with a regular round wire build.
  12. Ok, well right now I have a dual fused clapton running at 0.21 at 490 degrees using 65 watts. Stainless build that is. Anyway, I started it at 420 and it was way too cold temp protecting in like 5 seconds. I always start low and work my my up. I get it to 500 degrees and no more temp protect warning. So I backed it down to 490. I get the temp protect warning, and a nice vape. Should I do it a different way or something? Clearly it's not hitting 500 degrees or it would throw up the warning. Been doing temp control my way since the begining. Maybe I've been doing it wrong this last year and a half. That's why I wanted different opinions on the matter.
  13. I have a general question about temp control. How do you guys run yours? I raise my temp until it's quits say temperature protection, then I drop it down 10 degrees so that it does. Is that pretty standard or do you guys use it differently?
  14. Must be. That tcr is pretty high but it definitely works. dwcraig1 definitely did his homework.
  15. Ok, have my SS 430 from crazy wire working at 0.00238. 65 watts, 430 degrees. Nice, very nice!!!! Thank You very much dude!!
  16. I have 24 guage of crazy wire I just received and it's not working right with the steam engine file. I have to crank it to 600 for an anemic vape. There must be different alloys mixed in with the SS 430.
  17. Bought 25 guage from where? Are you using the 430 SS from vaping mesh company?
  18. Thanks alot. I went with the vape mesh company because I only saw 28 guage at unkamen.
  19. Just got some SS 430 from the vape mesh company out of England, 24 guage. Anyway, can't get it to work right with any of my DNA 200's. I'm using the file from steam engine. Is there a trick to this wire or is there a better file out there somewhere? I heard 430 would be the ultimate temp experience with stainless wire because of the increased tcr, but I'm not having any luck with it at all. I have 316l vaping like a dream. That's how I want this 430 to vape. Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance.
  20. I would really like to se pics of these too Evolv please, because I would like to order the DNA 250 box. How big is the lipo???
  21. Hopefully, all of this is settled by then. The FDA regs are way too strict.
