  1. No, it is not getting anything from Cell 1 and Cell 2 is far too high, I have never owned one of these so don't know, but suspect the battery protection board is faulty (if it has one, I think it probably does) or there is an internal connection issue on the balance connection. Maybe someone else will have better info, but if they don't I would return it to the vendor as dead on arrival.
  2. What are the cell voltages in EScribe - Device Monitor?
  3. It could just be that the screen cable has got damaged, try hooking it up to EScribe Device monitor and looking at the cell levels, also on the Themes tab you can get a capture of what the screen should be showing.
  4. You can just jump terminals 2 & 3 you don't have to have 2 wires, hope this makes sense.
  5. Great, I'll have a quick bash in paint, it won't be pretty I'm afraid, but if anyone has one please post it.
  6. Are the tubes isolated (electrically) from the case? I have not seen a diagram as it all depends how you are fitting the tubes in the case, because the cells are in series you can't have both tubes grounded to the case.
  7. Maybe it set it to 3 cell when you were using 2, the cell number is the most vital setting followed by the battery type.
  8. As long as you have the correct battery type and cell number (2 or 3) the defaults are fine, you should only loose a little accuracy at low res and high power, nothing to stop you getting a decent vape.
  9. IMO increasing power via fw is either releasing the hardware before the fw is finished or a cynical marketing ploy to avoid the reviewers testing it at the higher power. The hardware is what really limits the power: component specs, how much power the PCB tracks can reliably take and how much heat the board generates and how it dissipates it.
  10. Did you change it from 2 cell battery to 3 cell battery on the Mod tab in Escribe and uploaded settings to device when you switched the batteries?
  11. At the bottom of Device Monitor is shows which buttons are pressed in text.
  12. In the spec sheet here https://www.evolvapor.com/products/dna75
  13. For me the 2 A charging on the 250 makes a big difference, I just top it up now and again, 20 mins charge gives me a few hours vape time and probably about 30% battery capacity.
  14. I think retird uses notch coils with no issues, I often use dual Ni coils at 0.05 ohm with no issues, even tested dual Ni at 0.03, but prefer the 0.05. Preheat lets you adjust the speed of heat up.
  15. Almost certainly a connection issue, is that the one where the outer of the 510s unscrews, is so take it off and clean the threads and if there is a screw or two near the battery cap give them a tweek. It could also be loose board mount screws or in the atty.
  16. Try reinstalling EScribe and check the the Drivers are checked in the options, you don't need to unistall it beforehand. Then when you connect it is there a thing in the windows system tray showing it is looking for a driver for your hardware, it may take a little time on some systems.
  17. Look in Device Monitor while it is doing it to see if any of the battery cells are sagging to your soft cut-off while firing.
  18. If the cells are out of balance and one is almost full it would have to slow, also if the board temp is high it would slow the charge, not sure of the temp limit I think around 125 F, maybe a bit more. You can see the cell voltages in Device Monitor and put the board temp on the charge screen to check if it is either of these reasons.
  19. Cells 1 & 2 have gone up, it can take a while and several tries as it uses a low current and has a short time limit for safety, but if that cell has sat at 0.01 V for a while it may be permanently damaged and never hold charge again.
  20. That is not USB Revovery Charging, you don't need to change the thing you are looking at. Go here or here on older versions of EScribe < V1.2, same thing
  21. I replied about charging in another thread. To get to the battery settings you need to go to EScribe - Options - User Interface and choose Advanced or Manufacture to enable the Mod tab.
  22. Are any of the cells below 2.5 V, you can check in EScribe - Device Monitor, if so you either need to return it to the vendor as they should not be sold in that condition and if they are very low for a long time it ages the battery and cane even stop them working altogether or you can try EScribe - Tools - USB Recovery Charge.
  23. You only need battery type set to Lipo 3 cell, the other settings are just to give the battery gauge better info to estimate the reaming %.
  24. Should be fixed now, the forum software added an encoded line ending to it, if it ends in %C2%A0 just delete that bit.
