  1. It sounds like all versions that have the materials tab should be able to do a roll back then....perhaps.
  2. I rolled 3 of mine back within a couple of hours but I used the 2016-02-29 EScribe to do it. mikepetro did you do yours with the beta EScribe?
  3. Over on the "big forum" it goes like this "you can attack the post but don't attack the poster. I think that can work here too.
  4. Try using an earlier version of EScribe, one listed as testing or recommended. I reverted 3 of mine back to earlier FW from 4-25
  5. From what I gather only the newer firmware that's included is only for the DNA75. I tried to flash one of my 200's with the 75's firmware and it couldn't see the device. (EScribe version 1.0.56)
  6. Any juice under the balance connector on the board maybe? Or flux.
  7. Great news...... But still in no hurry, It will be at least 30 days before my 75 arrives.
  8. Might I ask what firmware version that you were using?
  9. Looks like Hcigar got their DNA boards mixed up.
  10. The version that was on Evolv's site and removed was dated 04-25-16 The one on Hcigar's site is newer, 05-02-16
  11. I'm going to wait till Evolv suggests that we try the beta DNA75/200 software before I try it again. (I took out the earlier one almost immediately). As much as I would like to use it I'm going to wait, my devices currently work just fine.
  12. I was only guessing on that, great that it's working for you. Edit: So I studied the diagram some more and can't see how it wouldn't work......but I believe you.
  13. I think that the short black and short red wire could have been omitted but I'm just guessing. I believe that + an - on the balance taps are connected internally on the board to battery +and -.
  14. Same for 2S Lipo /topic/66226-topic/?do=findComment&comment=895167
  15. Axis Vapes site states that they use a Varitube 22 mm flat 510. I have one in front of me and the output wire gets soldered into the 510 pin same as a FDV v3 and just about all others. Still could be a problem with the spring or the insulator (from excessive heat) but the spring is not part of the electrical path. I'd be checking this with atomizer analyzer in EScribe as well a comparing live ohms and cold ohms between the two mods using the same (cooled) atty in device monitor. Note the percentage the ohms changes from cold to hot with same settings. Also what is mod resistance set to on the M17?
  16. The idea of changing the numbers threw in an added element of confusion, I had to sketch it out and refer to my extra lipo's plug. I should have just put the two pictures up in front of me, it would have been easier.
  17. I'm missing something here. Warning this plug is numbered incorrectly, should be from left to right 3, 2, 1, gnd
  18. Using the diagram in post #6 I have double checked it and got the same as I previously posted. Is the diagram in post #6 correct?
  19. Can't you check it for continuity? Between the bridge between the two batteries and which ever pin the white wire goes to.
  20. Here's the voltages using your pin numbering and batteries @ 4 volts ea. 1 + 3 = 4 volts 2 + 3 = 4 volts 1 + 4 = 8 volts 2 + 4 = 8 volts 3 + 4 = 4 volts 1 + 2 are bridged so 0 Anyone using this just keep in mind that the pin numbers being used are not Evolv's numbers
  21. My guess is there's something wrong with the balance connector or it's wiring on the sled. Take a good look at the pins of the jst connector of the sled also. Measure the voltages off the balance connector. I'll have to locate what they are, I'll be back. Maybe this will help: /topic/66226-topic/?do=findComment&comment=895167
  22. Yes http://evolvapor.com/dna200.php 2nd item on page. A bit of instructions here, more to be found on this forum. http://evolvapor.com/datasheet/dna200.pdf
  23. I put two lengths of 28 gauge SS 430 in my drill and twisted them pretty tight, repeated using another two pieces resulting in two lengths of twisted pairs. Then I put the two pieces of twisted pairs into drill and twisted them in the opposite direction that they were previously twisted. Wrapped about 7 times, 3 mm id. This is the end piece that I didn't use.
