  1. Thanks for the reply Chunky. So, something new. I hooked my DNA200 up to Device Monitor and noticed something really strange. At a set temp of 420, the Temp line actually starts way above that, like 490+ then zig zags up and down, really wide gyrations. Seems regardless of set temp, this build is firing way above what its supposed to. No wonder the temp protect message comes on immediately Does that suggest the TCR or the wire is not what it should be? Or could it be build related?
  2. Hi all, I'm new to DNA200 and Temp Control and would appreciate some help. Just to experiment, I wrapped a variety of coils to try with the DNA200. SS316L 12 wrap duals and 10 wrap singles and Titanium 10 and 12 wrap duals. 4 different builds in 4 separate attys, in total. My problem is, 2 of them are working fine but the other 2 (including an SS single coil) show the Temp Protect message within a second or two of me hitting the button. I cant figure out why they are doing this or how to fix them. I presume its not my eScribe settings as the other attys work fine. Connections seems secure. I feel like I'm missing something but don't know what. I also realize i dont how this Temp Control works either. Thanks in advance to all who reply
  3. Indeed. Very well done . I think that answered my question. Thank you both very much!
  4. Just to add, its the same problem as this post, except I would like to be able to upload a CSV file /topic/66958-topic/?do=findComment&comment=902439 Thanks
  5. Hey dwcraig, thanks for the reply. Yep I did all you suggested. My problem is I can't find where in eScribe I can upload a csv file (I guess that would be the "add to eScribe" part in your post). Every video I see shows people clicking on Presets, then moving down to wire type, choosing and clicking Custom. When I do that, I don't have the Custom option. The list shows Nickel, SS 316, Titanium and then it ends. So I don't know what is wrong. Is my version of eScribe not working properly (I just uninstalled, re-downloaded and reinstalled eScribe -- same problem)? Is this some kind of limitation by the mods? Is there some kind of setting I have to choose to enable a Custom wire option? Because I'm not seeing it. As a workaround, I tried going to the Materials tab and creating a new wire type. I was able to do that but it only allows a TCR value to be keyed in. I still don't see where I can upload a CSV file. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks
  6. Hi guys First time DNA200 user here. I was trying to figure out how to set up custom wire (Nife48) on both an eFusion Duo and a Boxer 133w. Looking at the eScribe tutorial, it shows to go to a Preset, click the wire type and choose Custom, and from there you can upload a CSV file. My problem is, I don't have that Custom option. When I click on a Preset, it shows Nickel, SS316 and Ti and that's it. No Custom. I'm running eCcribe 1.0.42. What am i missing? Thanks
