  1. I see a lot of folks wanting to use EScribe with a Mac but I don't think I have ever seen anyone mention for example running Win XP on a Mac with boot camp. There are some really small instanances of XP out there. Just saying
  2. Just curious, what is your soft cell cut off setting?
  3. Would you mind checking your setting for mod resistance in EScribe under the mod tab and post it here? If for some reason it's way off that might be the problem. Generally that setting will be 0 to 0.006 ohms.
  4. Battery analyzer will just make your battery bar and battery percentage more accurate. Setting the watt hours correctly is all that you really need to do. You should be able to find the CSV for your battery in this forum or the mod's makers web site. Or you can run the battery analyzer.l
  5. My thoughts pertained to mounting a cold atty, for hot I would just lock the ? in the same profile if the cold resistance is real close.
  6. I plan on letting the battery just live in there, if the HD2 fares better it will just stay in there for a long while. I'm not expecting to be noticing any difference but we'll see.
  7. Duct tape, rubber gloves, try freezing it ......these things come to mind.
  8. I would set up identical profiles and switch to the next profile when changing atties. (my work around)
  9. OK, I pulled out the HE4 and put in an HD2, will see if anything is different now.
  10. What wire types are you using?
  11. So to get in on the act I took my HE4 in my SMY SDNA75 down to 3.3, that's when I got to see the battery bar flashing for the first time. Using @ 40 watts/50 preheat.

    Wake up

Hcigar and Hotcig come to mind. There was a group buy early on for the Hotcig and they were told up front there would be no manufacturer's warranty. As I recall they did end up warranting them though as there were a bunch with bad batteries.
  13. Come Monday we'll see what Chunky has to say about ss430, I sent him some to sample yesterday.
  14. Have a set of rods, drill bits, Allen keys ect. of known sizes or get out the calipers and size the rods. But you don't need to put in that info to get TCR/TFR as that doesn't change with size or ohms, it only changes with different material

  16. It has to be fully charged to start battery analyzer. Case analyzer needs to have the battery on the low side. It should eventually start
  17. I didn't try to fire it with only the balance connector on but as I posted earlier pack voltage was there but the cell voltages while adding up to the pack were unbalanced. Checked with a meter though they were balanced. I'll try again when I actually get up.
  18. I had an extra lipo sitting here One of those Lion Power 1800's of an earlier topic...LOL
  19. Did you dis-connect the usb for each step? Is that with the balance connector in?
  20. First off the voltage being displayed in device monitor is what you need look at as what is on the display may not be accurate. Is the situation with needing jump started with the usb even after charging stops?
  21. This is really a long shot but have you tried completely disconnecting the battery ( both main plug and balance plug) and re-connecting it. This would amount to a hard re-boot. Might not help but should be easy enough to do.
  22. Also see if you have battery voltage at pin #1
