I'll give it a go. If EScribe is just opened and you put up the window to change the TCR of a particular material it will have .006 in the box by defaualt as well as show you the graph for that setting. Nothing is changed till you press"OK". If EScribe wasn't been closed and you have changed the TCR of a material then it will show that number in the box by defaualt. Again nothing is changed till you "OK" it
That's correct, I don't think it will contain much if anything "extra" for the 75 though. It (SP3) has some nice additions to EScribe though. Worth getting IMO.
The DNA75 does well with SS3XX Download for recommended EScribe is on this page. https://www.evolvapor.com/products/dna75 Otherwise you may use the SP3 "Early" from the 1st post of the Early software page. /topic/66731-topic/?do=findComment&comment=900119
So I did a little snooping around in EScribe, the only setting that I could find that would cause my battery icon to be empty on my vt133 was if I changed it from 2 cell to 3 cell. I guess you looked at this already but it's the only thing I found that effects the icon that way.
I upload settings to get mine back after upgrading the firmware, have you tried that? Well I went back and read your 1st post again, I guess you did that already.
I just got through 8 ml of juice, not a drop was left in the tank (2nd tank) of my Kayfun 5 with glass tank. Just after I hit 8 ml the next fire was with battery icon flashing. This is 40 watt, 50 wat preheat, my drags are just under 2 seconds so it was mostly at 50 watts. 3.6 ohm ss430. This was with an LG HD2, 2000 mah, 25 amp cdr, a 25r might do even better.
I have no idea, back then I was checking on battery life. I generally keep it on the upper end of the charge never letting it get very low. Using a Kayfun 5 clone instead of Bellus, 40/50 watt @ 430.....it never throttles down (normally) I'll see what I can do about getting an answer for you.
from CW"s site "Chemical Composition: Fe, <0.12% C, 16-18% Cr, <0.75% Ni, <1.0% Mn, <1.0% Si, <0.040% P, <0.030% S C Min - - Max - 0.12 Mn Min - - Max - 1 Si Min - - Max - 1 P Min - - Max - 0.04 S Min - - Max - 0.30 Cr Min - 16 Max - 0.18 Mo Min - - Max - - Ni Min - - Max - 0.50 N Min - - Max - -"
I didn't notice anything regarding an off taste created by the wire it's self. That is actually why I bought it, I had read it tasted bad and didn't believe it so I bought some. I paid very close attention to how clean it was coming off the spool as well as if there was an odor given off when first heated. I found nothing unusual.
As I said in a few posts back. I use TCR setting of 0.00238. It's a different composition than Unkamen's 430, CW's contains Ni for one. The TCR I'm using is one that I came up with after much experimenting (not a scientist, not even close).
It works fine, softer than Unkamen's but the TCR value has not been published as yet. Not relevant perhaps but I prefer twisted 28 gauge Unkamen's ss430 better than CW's 26 gauge 430. I probably would like twisted 28 gauge CW 430 just fine if I had that as well. I'm using a couple duals of twisted 25 CW 430 in an Aromamizer with TP, works well.
