LOL. A good mod may satisfy a vapor for years and not get out of date even with new stuff coming. I can get a great vape from my several year old Darwin just like I can from my months old DNA200's. I should have mentioned that the devices in the picture are all DNA25's, DNA40's, and one DNA30. My DNA200's and Darwin are not shown. By all means, if you have legacy mods you don't use there is always someone out there that would love to have them. Pay-It-Forward. Why not do something nice for somebody less fortunate than you?

They gather no dust. Usually the ones I build are mostly given away to vapors who need one but don't have the extra funds to grab one. It's called PIF (pay it forward).
-
Built all except the gold Hana Beta DNA40. Hana built the gold beta DNA40. No clones in my stable. All have authentic Evolv boards in them.

No issues here with uploading pictures. Here is one picture showing Device Monitor and a picture of a few devices in my stable.

Nope, not a moderator but was only saying what my experience with Win-10 and EScribe has been.

What were the Mod settings set at in the ReuLeaux ?
-
I found quite a bit of flexibility in Win-10 to turn things on/off depending on how I wanted to use Win-10 but this is not the forum for me to get any deeper into that subject.

Hmm Wismec DNA200 or EFusion by lost vapes dual 18650.

Was it properly set up according to EScribe/Mod/Manufacture's Setting ? Or were the default setting still there ? -
Sorry for your failed Windows 10 install. Only thing I needed to do on my Win-10 upgrade was to update drivers from the manufacturer's web site as they had all the updated drivers I needed. All software worked just as it did in Win-7 and Win 8.1. Some of my software is as old as 2007. EScripe works great with Win-8.1 and after installing Win-10 it never glitched.

Having been a vaper for over 5 years I have learned one thing for sure. Always have a spare device in case one craps out. That is why I have 2 DNA200's (at least 2 - not saying how many I actually have.) Been using Evolv products for years and their customer service has always been just like you are seeing. Not many companies that will repair a device that they didn't even build.

Yup, a PO box is a post office box, usually rented by a customer (such as Evolv). Items shipped to the PO box are placed into the box by Post Office employees (USPS) to be picked up by who ever rented the PO box or for delivery to the business. Here is link using your tracking number: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tRef=fullpage&tLc=1&text28777=&tLabels=LB221195974GB I looked at your tracking number and here is what it shows:

Could be but I am not sure where this file came from. I am in California so if VS created the file then I would think it would be in US format already. Evolv should just use GMT.
Opened the file dasfast posted with Win-10 Home 64 bit version. Here is screen shot:

Could your issue be similar to this? /topic/67889-topic/?do=findComment&comment=911164

Maybe the down button is stuck. Onboard buttons or auxillary buttons?

Nice touch Evolv !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to Ari, the author of the file about sharing it, and he felt it was better you get it directly from the source so he can provide support and updates for future escribe versions. I will respect his wishes and not share it here. You are welcome to join the Facebook group "Dna200 modders", there you will easily find the posts from Ari containing the settings file and support for it.
Why not contact Hcigar and get their file after all they made the device. Ari's file was modified by Ari thus different than Hcigar's file. Go to the source, or at least that is my take on it. Good luck.

Display is toast. If it is the large screen just get a replacement and plug it in. If it's a small screen it can be replaced by soldering a replacement display onto the board but it's kinda tricky to solder.

dna 200 battery cells reading to low and will not charge
retird replied to jsantana16's topic in Batteries and Charging
Ship that puppy back and let the vendor address the issue. -
I run the 0.15 ohm nickel Aspire coils at 24 watts, 400F, 100 watts preheat and all is well. Can you post a screen shot of Device Monitor showing Pack, Power, Power Set, Temperature, and Temperature Set showing 4 or 5 consecutive vapes so we can see what it is doing. Snap[ of what I get:

case analyzer: run with or without atty?
retird replied to mactavish's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
That will be a great tool. I use a 510 to 510 sealed adapter (had a few laying around) that I dropped a ball of solder into it and torched it to create a dead short. Adapter reads 0.000 ohms. shell to center pin. Attached to my 2 identical devices and ran Atty Analyzer and got 0.005 ohms on each device. Set to 0.004 (80%). http://www.madvapes.com/v2-510-shorty-extension-sealed.html -
Have you tried from a different computer? Send the file to me in a message and I will try it, if you want to let me have a go at it?
No I have not tried it in a different computer yet. I only have access to one PC and one Macbook at home. And its too much of a hazzle to get escribe running on a Mac. I will however try the file at my work computer monday morning. I can send the file to you if you want, even tough I know for certain there is nothing wrong with the file. James the admin here has confirmed it working, and so has countless other people from the closed facebook group I got it from. The file throwing "Unsupported file format" error for me simply makes ZERO sense. We all have the exact same version of escribe and the exakt same version of the ecig file. I can't for my life figure out what is wrong. And even if I were daft beyond belief there simply is not much that could possibly go wrong opening the file I alos tried uninstalling and reinstalling escribe, same problem. I ran it as admin and normal user, no difference. I am on a Windows 8.1 Pro x64 machine, eng version with swedish keyboard layout if that could possibly be a factor. I saved my own custom escribe settings file earlier, just to try it out. And that one loads just fine, not that it does me any good though lol
The *.ecig file you messaged to me loads just fine into EScribe here on a Win-10 laptop. I didn't upload to device but just opened EScribe with no device plugged in and it loaded all settings into EScribe.

Windows TABLETS that support ESCRIBE and the DNA 200?
retird replied to digatel's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
Yep, it has a micro USB port. Here is a post from this forum: /topic/66331-topic/?do=findComment&comment=896356 This video shows how to use it with USB devices. Only requires an OTG cable, which are cheap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoPNzx8bcVQ OTG cable: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-5in-Micro-Host-Adapter/dp/B00B4GGW5Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1446312393&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+to+micro+usb+cable+otg At any rate there are many tablets to choose from. You can also search this forum for "Tablet" and see many post about tablets. Hope this helps. -
