  1. I really enjoyed this tutorial and has a great deal of info about EScribe. http://www.evolvapor.com/guide/story.html
  2. James just FYI I use 8.1 64 bit and no problem here. Going to load Win10 shortly. Wish me luck!! I found a few times when trying to download a file from the web it may not work and when I try again it still doesn't work. Most times I can clear the cache and browsing history and try again and it works.
  3. LOL I thought it was a "right of passage" for every modder to crack at least one screen. Yep, I cracked one too. Ya learn real quick to be "gentle".
  4. Sorry plcockrell.... I should have included quote of Schnell18t.... was asking him/her about the setting since it is occurring while firing...
  5. What % is the firing brightness set at in EScribe?
  6. Nice looking build..... I've tweaked my vape to the point to give me this smooth vape as shown in the graph....just fiddled with the pre-heat, punch, and wattage....
  7. Yep, others posted the same thing yesterday.... My understanding is that Escribe checks for updates upon opening.
  8. Brandon said this a couple days ago: BlackouTT, I was having a similar issues yesterday and James determined it was server connection related. In other words, I think there may have been some connection issues on our end. I know that James is looking into it. Maybe this is what you are seeing. I run windows 8.1 64 bit too without issue but am not doing an install. Maybe uninstall and try again?

  10. Bern, this may seem like a dumb question but does your juice pop and crackle alot while firing? Maybe why your graph looks that way...looks like it is just regulating temp and wattage with the ohm's staying consistent...
  11. Here is a graph showing 400F@25 watts with pre-heat set to 50 watts and punch set to 5 using the reference device with an Atlantis atty with Ni200 factory coil. Works great. Cold ohm's is 0.158 and moves to 0.308 while vaped. How does this compare to yours?
  12. Take it back to who ever built it and have them fix it. Sounds like a build issue.
  13. This may answer your question.... click on "how it works" in lower left corner http://www.steam-engine.org/tcr.asp
  14. druckle, mind if I ask what device you have? I've been trying to replicate what you are seeing on a reference device and can't get it to act up. thx
  15. You can see live ohm's in the Device Monitor also.... just check "live ohms"and see it change while vaping...
  16. Link..... /topic/65933-topic/?do=findComment&comment=892392
  17. I would think since Sweet Spots is selling the wire they should be able to give you their csv file....
  18. So with it open like shown in the pictures does it still lock up while firing by pushing the onboard fire button with your finger?
  19. Click "File" and "save as"..... is that what you are looking for...?
  20. Are you running the latest version of EScribe and firmware update and have you looked at Device Monitor for anything unusual while device is connected to EScribe?
  21. Did you run Atomizer Analyzer? What was the results?
  22. Wick, what hard data have you received on these packs and what results do you have on your testing of the packs? THX
  23. Doing this as a option one might choose might be a good idea but there are those of us who change wattage more than temp so as long as it's not the default setting to change temp with up/down buttons it would be just another option I guess...
  24. FYI, I'm not seeing any deviation with the latest firmware on either beta device and haven't seen any unusual deviation on earlier firmware either. Refinement has been solid at 0.01 ohms.
