Could it be that you have a bad or broken connection in the battery tray or juice leaking onto the board? Can you use a meter and check the voltage at the wires going to input connections going to the board at B- and B+? See diagram in pdf linked here: https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf

Since you saved the Triade Theme could you post it here so I can look at it. I'd be interested in knowing what it can do. May be helpful to aid in future questions asked by others. -
Triade: How to turn on/off stealth mode and power lock
retird replied to mexus's topic in General Discussion
I am not versed in designing Themes but if possible and if the functions you want are available for a theme they would need to be designed into the Theme. You might look at the design of your theme and see if Stealth is already there. There are numerous Themes in the Downloads part of this forum where you can look at the screens and functions and choose the Theme you want. I recommend you save your current theme before changing to another in case you want to go back to Lost Vape Theme. Here is the link for 75C and 250C Themes: https://forum.evolvapor.com/files/category/6-dna-75-color-250-color/ -
Triade: How to turn on/off stealth mode and power lock
retird replied to mexus's topic in General Discussion
I thought that article was probably not correct. There is a stealth mode in the Theme I use with my 250C devices. Here is a screenshot of one screen in Theme Designer. So with the 250C you turn Stealth on and off from the menu. I think Stealth only works when firing the device as you need to see the screen to use the theme. Here is another part of a reddit post I see: Although they do have a lock. But the screen will light up in either case. There is a stealth mode, but it is only stealth when you fire it and not in the menu system. -

So when you lock the device you can still adjust power??? -
Which device is this? What Theme is installed?
-
After putting in the batteries what happens when you press the down button and then the up button? If that moves the choice between yes and no (new/old, etc depending on the theme you have) then just select (middle button) your choice. If you are only changing batteries while using the device then you probably don't need to select "new coil".

Replay mode is it available for old dna 133 chips
retird replied to Mody2019's topic in Replay and Atomizers
Ni-chrome isn't a temp control wire. 316L works in replay thus they should work in Temperature Control on the DNA133. My thought is use your Ni-chrome coils in wattage mode and 316L coils in Temperature Control mode. -

Only available for 75C, 250C, and Go boards. -
With fully charged batteries in the device what are the voltage readings and % of charge showing in Device Monitor within EScribe?
-
Seeing Check Battery message. Take out the batteries and check the voltage of each battery with a meter. What is the voltage of each? Have you got another set of batteries to try? When batteries get too low they will not charge inside the device. Any more information you can give?

There is nothing in your video....

Here is Evolv's site showing the version they have for download.... https://www.evolvapor.com/escribe And here is another thread here showing recommended version and an early service pack should you want to try it... No I have not installed the version you post which may update the Orion to Plus version.... It looks like Lost Vape is using it....

@dwcraig1 I was going on the "profile he created" and thought maybe he had created a wire material (SS316L V3.5) and was using that.... a bit more info from @Matteo Galdi would be nice. Please use your native language if you can and we will translate... THX

Try using the SS316 material.

Take the kanthal out of the coil and see how replay reacts...

Adding new fonts to Theme Designer
retird replied to croyleje's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
Of all the default theme fonts the one you want is not listed? What font are you wanting to add? -
If Replay is not activated then the DNA is not recognizing the coil as a material that is supported by Replay (assuming Replay is selected in the settings of the profile @Vitalii is using). Probably has something to do with the coil build with Kanthal is my guess... not really much information provided to further discuss...

So, replay doesn't work with the single coil using the TFV16 but only give you the option to play. Do any of the coils (single, double, or triple) work in straight Temperature Control mode using the TFV16 tank? There are some tanks that use pre-made coils that don't work with TC or Replay because of several reasons. Tank design, coil connection points to the coil shell, and coils that are not truly Nickel, Titanium, etc. I don't have a TFV16 but my guess is that either the tank or the pre-made coils is not compatible with replay (assuming the coils don't work in straight Temperature Control mode). SMOK may have answers for you. Also, you could start a ticket with Evolv and explain to them and see what they say... https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1 SMOK says the mesh coils are Nickel-Chrome....... This may help...... https://spinfuel.com/ni200-and-ni-chrome-a-brief-look/ and a short clip from that link is: Ni-Chrome isn’t a wire used for Temperature Control, though many vapers mistakenly thought so. If you build your own coils you should buy pure nickel, or Ni200, for many reasons.

No..... that only measures voltage and gives a readout....
-
Doesn't matter when the fire button only has 2 pins.

Looks like you have many options.... at this point it is unclear what the issue with the device really is. To say it is definitely a sketchy chip is a stretch at this point I think. It may even be poor assembly. You can google that mod here in this forum and see if there are any posts to read that other owners may have posted and had issues with the mod discussed here ......
