I too like my two Reuleaux DNA200 mods for the same reasons. I also like my two Lost Vape Triade mods. Very much like the Reuleaux. And my four HCigar VT133 are my favorite two 18650 DNA200 mods. My Hotcig DX200 v2 is also kind of nifty for a lipo DNA200. As the battery compartment part just pulls right off and you can pop a fresh recharged pack right on.

Well the thick black and red wires from the battery should read 9.0v to 12.6v. If that is what you have that is a good sign the battery is probably fine. If it doesn't. There is another plug with four smaller wires. Two wires should also be red and black. And they should read the same voltage. Those four wires, the black one is GND, then pin 1, 2, and lastly 3 which is a red wire. GND (black) 1 = cell 1 (read from GND and 1) 2 = cell 2 (read from 1 and 2) 3 = cell 3 (read from 2 and 3) [red]

Oh okay. That should go well. But I am sure they would want a video of the problem before they accept taking it back.

If you got it at a store, you can return it. If you bought online, well you can call or email them.

Oh I should add that you should decide something soon. As if it isn't too late yet, you have no longer than two days to remove the battery or those two cells I predict will be totally shot (and non-recoverable). As I believe when it reads a cell at or near zero, it probably isn't true. But whatever went wrong, it does drain the ones that reads 0. And one of mine did that and it had taken a full cell 4.20v to 3.0v in two days. Say by the way, do you have a multimeter by chance?

You just received it? Oh that isn't good. EScribe's Device Monitor is saying cells 1 & 2 are totally dead. If you can, I would return it to the place you got it. As I am not buying that the two cells are shot (but they could be). But anything left to do requires opening it up and voiding the warranty.

Whoa! That is really cold. No wonder you have a hard time creating vapor. I had one e-juice like that called MBV Dream Tea (long discontinued). I loved it, but almost impossible to vape. After many trials and errors, it would be ok up to 192ºC. Any higher and it would caramelize. And when it did, some leaks back into the tank and in about 10 minutes through some chain reaction, the whole tank the flavor was totally gone. In a dripper it was easier since you kept dripping and hopefully vape it all before that happens.

The resistance was what when you started? And what did you change it to? By 0.002 ohms? And that made a difference in your vape? Are you using TC wire to build with? If you are, you shouldn't get any burning with a dripper when it goes dry. All that happens when it is setup correctly is vapor production and flavor diminishes. I vape on a dripper about half of the time and I normally use TC Clapton coils (26g/32g). What kind of juice are you vaping with anyway? And what is the PG/VG ratio? And what kind of temperature are you generally vaping at?

Someone posted a script to run or something (was it VapingBad?) that returns a code whether the screen is faulty or not. But something that I would do until this is posted again or someone finds it... is in EScribe under themes tab, see all of those capture buttons? Pick any of them and when you press one of them it grabs what is suppose to be on the screen at the moment. If that looks fine, that is a good sign. Don't upload to your DNA200 or save or anything. As it will change that screen.

I have adjusted a hot coil with EScribe when I know what the cold resistance is. Or I guess up and down until the vape feels like the temperature setting. But when I do throw a hot coil on normally, I just unlock the ohms (if locked) and adjust the temp down to about 200ºF and then adjust up or down accordingly. If I am chain vaping it will stay put at the temp I want to vape at. Although if I sit it down, the DNA200 will grab the lowest resistance it cools down to as the new cold resistance and figures in the offset depending on the room temperature. And if it sits for about 10 to 15 minutes, most of my atomizers are pretty much at room temperature and now the temperature is dead on accurate once again. This seems easier to me than connecting up to EScribe or flipping through menus. Although I take it you rather do it through menus instead?

Wow really? When you are around a Windows machine, how many times a day are you connecting up to EScribe? I must be doing something wrong. Since I connect them up to EScribe once and set them to my liking and then go for months without ever connecting them up to EScribe again.

It should let you install right over itself, unless you have 2016-02-29 still running.

That 2016-02-23 date that I got EScribe confused with above is because that is the latest firmware version for the DNA200.

Yes the beta that was bricking DNA200 mods is known as 05-02-2016 (1.0.51). You probably won't find it, but if you do run across it, don't use it.

Well 1.0.42 will give you the latest DNA200 firmware. And 1.0.56 works with both DNA75 and DNA200, but it is missing the 02-27-2016 DNA200 firmware if you needed it. I said 02-23-2016 earlier, but it is 02-27-2016 (1.0.42). There is a 02-29-2016 (1.0.42) version too which is the same thing but has some non-English bugs fixed.

Yes that would be fine. Although you won't have the firmware 2/23/2016 for the DNA200 device, but it might already be up to date. Won't know until you connect it to EScribe and open the Device Monitor and look at the bottom as to what version is installed. CORRECTION: 02-27-2016 (1.0.42)

It still works from the battery right? That part of not connecting by USB... well the only thing left that you can do is to contact Evolv to repair it.

Absolutely that is exactly what you should do. That SetupES_2016-05-06_DNA75(1.0.56) doesn't include any firmware for the DNA200, but your 2-23-2016 firmware will stay there anyway when it is replaced by the 5/6 one.

I love my two Triades. Batteries fit very tight though. It is best instead of centering the negative of the batteries first, just put them in by just barely on the edge and get the positive in there first (while pushing against the spring), then push the negative in the rest of the way. Otherwise the batteries will be inserted with too much of a slant and won't fit. Same idea coming out, but in reverse.

The L frame for the Wismec 510 holder will need to be cutoff. And you might need to cut into the battery sled to make it fit.
