1. The black triangular symbols are the case acting as a common ground, consider them connected to each other.
2. About those charging boards
3. For 18650 I would set the cut off to 2.75 V, LiPo 3.1 V, it doesn't affect charging, it shouldn't affect battery health much other than not running batteries down extends the life a little (you get more benefit by not charging them to full though). I would not use the lower voltage for LiPos just to be extra cautious but I don't think the board would damage them anyway. It will affect vape time on the 18650s because they have a fair bit of sag under load, so the knock on of that is it will make the mod throttle the voltage back earlier on the 18650s if you leave it set to 3.1 V.
4. Make sure the coils are are spaced and check connections are good.
5. I use the same 1 A boards as black lace to make travel chargers http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272161925060 they are extremely cheap (£2.59 $3.37 ish for 10) and will do a good job of bring up a single cell, don't try and chain them for 3 cells unless you are running from 3 isolated supplies. There is no revers protection and they fry if you connect them wrong.
6. The only bugs I know of, and I was a beta tester for this update are the battery bar going to zero after update, it comes back after a little while, with upload setting and soft reboot. And that Atomiser analyser sometimes shows ? using a dead short tool to measure the mod resistance. Doyle your temp going from 280 C to off is it dropping out of temp mode, this can be several things like dirty or loose contacts, touching coils, locking the resistance too high or watts to low.
7. You only need a csv if the wire is made from 2 or more different materials, if it is all 316 or 316L stainless steal then just use the SS316 profile. If it has issues switch to wattage mode, remove the wick, turn the watts up and check for hot spots etc.
8. Sorry missed Atty analyser question, you only need Advanced to get it, no need for Manufacture.
9. The preheat is temp limited so you will not always get the current you expect, this is so you get a consistent vape no matter if the coil was cold or warm to begin with. Preheat will fire at the preheat watts until the preheat time has elapsed or you get close to the temp. How close is what preheat punch sets, 11 would mean preheat works until you get to 10 F below temp, 0 would be 160 F below temp. They refine the resistance reading by tracking the coils and room temp as it cools so the resistance changing a little is probably just it getting a more accurate reading. I would not lock the res unless it is always changing. I not sure about the temp changing from 290 C to 250 C, I have not come across that or do you mean that it stays set at 290, but the coils only reaches 250 which would be fine as long as you like the vape.
10. Yes all those settings will remain, it is just an update, EScribe has been tidied up a little and you have display modes that hide somethings that most users don't need, detail in the software FAQ /topic/68493-topic/?do=findComment&comment=915973
11. I would recommend it, I have been running it on 3 DNA 200 for weeks, if you want to vape ss in temp mode it's a must IMO. There is a cosmetic bug that the battery bar goes to empty after the update, but uploading settings or soft reboot gets it straight back in most cases.
12. /topic/66088-topic/?do=findComment&comment=893826 (same link as in my footer) for early release works. The official release is linked from the product page https://www.evolvapor.com/products/dna75 link is https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupES.exe and that works.
13. I have not read anything from Evolv on this, but I'm sure it would be so you can tell the board that your battery cannot supply the max currents, IE for lower numbers. I have read from Evolv that there are no settings that you can change that will harm your board.
14. No, V 1.2 SP3 is the latest early release, there is a link in my footer.
15. Yes, sorry I just cut & pasted what I had put in the FAQ.
16. EScribe now has 4 display modes accessible through the menu under Options - Interface. The differences in each mode compared to the previous versions are: Clean: no Mod or Research tabs and no Atomizer Analyzer. Advanced: no Research tab and only Charging Mode and Kanthal Power Limit on mod tab Researcher: only Charging Mode and Kanthal Power Limit on mod tab Manufacturer: same as the previous version with the Manufacturer settings on the mod tab expanded
17. Page 11 in the spec sheet in post # give the pins into the DNA 60, the charging board will have these and the battery connections. There is a photo here https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/turbocads-finally-selling-mods.746707/page-21#post-18308753
18. Try charging normally, but leave it connected for an extra couple of hours (guessing the extra time) to allow it to balance charge.
19. You need to bend the cable to keep clear of the fire button. Don't bend it right next to the glass, folding round a credit card or thin wire gives a nice bend without folding it and avoid folding in the same spot multiple times.
20. No it's not beta, noting you download from Evolv (evolvapor.com) would affect your warranty. I have been running it for a few weeks and no reports of bricked devices that I am aware of. It does have one issue that after updating the fw your battery bar may zero, but uploading settings, soft reboot or just waiting bring it back.
21. go here /topic/66731-topic/ and download and install the early version, 2nd in the list. It will prompt you to update the firmware when you connect your DNA200.
22. Did you press the fire button?
