  1. not sure am on mobile but continualy pressing the fire button it would show up lock or unlocked, in stealth mode. have you built it.. or..
  2. Well if it does son you havnt got a very good ground, for board or atty,,, your board aint bolted in...if you start frothing at the mouth and twitching you may wish to pull the fuse anyway lol, all the best...
  3. lamo.. no you said quote,, I ended up using 18 Guage stranded wire since I didn't have any 16 guage on hand. Anything bigger would not fit through the hole on the bottom of the 510.. ok,,, hope you don't find thermal conductivity or however you wish to put it,, heat,, will transfer from the bottom of the atty to the inner underside of the top of your mod box where your board is hot glued and it will drop like held on with soft bubble gum,,, because then you may wish to use some of the thermal epoxy you've got,,,, where on earth else would you need to put it,,,, like why would I bother saying anything if I didn't know...............
  4. if it looks fine, you havnt got it in stealth mode per chance? they will take a certain amount of knocks and bangs, its if you crack the ribbon or screen its as good as dead.
  5. lamo,, i'm having visions of a very small person wearing a hard hat, fluro vest and flash light, lowering a step ladder between the board and screen and climbing down, saying "yeh, hang on I know what that is" don't take offense, lol,,
  6. very neat and tidy work, I put the logo "built not bought on my secondary welcome screens" we are a rare breed, our mods as rare as hens teeth, lol, the g/boxes from stealth vape come with the magnets already fitted, but to be honest I like to seal mine shut tight, too much headache swapping the battery and I don't fetch the back off to run risk of swarf or anything getting in, (only a chosen few get to stick their noses in my guts lol) also i'm sure you picked up on it while building but you can get shorter 510s, may have helped square that battery up, every mm helps..
  7. I thought the chips wher the four black square things, to the lefts of your heat sinks, so what are the black things?
  8. 18guage: depending on your style of vaping you may get a bit too warm for hot glue and have to swap for epoxi, i know what you mean about the 510 hole, i carefully grind mine out with a dremil bit and have managed to get 14 guage in by fluxing the inside of the center pin, then dropping some slithers of solder down the hole then flux the wire and push it in the hole, then heat it with the soldering iron and you will see the solder ooze out and up the untinned wire.
  9. sounds like you've installed an earlier version. think this is the most up to date /topic/66731-topic/?do=findComment&comment=900118
  10. also this thread running on different mods, attys and life span may be of some use, item 8 unfortunately he doesn't list the batterys in each mod but it shouldn't be to much hassle to search it /topic/67550-topic/?do=findComment&comment=907928
  11. just as a matter of interest, what gauge wire have you used for your power out and ground?
  12. Like chuck ya a couple of screens they had kicking around. Lol well done anyway.
  13. Very nice looking mod our mate, ive built quite a few but the ones i have with magnetic backs ive glued shut because i dont swap the batteries and i dont want bits of swarf or anything shorting the board, each to there own ect, again very nice mod, built not bought..
  14. Well done?, what about expences and free samples lol ?
  15. Supporters is a good word, everyone guessing about no input, or replacement screens as promised, softwear tweaks ect is somthing els big about to come out or contracts ended and grave yard..
  16. Your battery is way below what it should be, i wouldnt go poking around on your board with a tester, you may bugger somthing els up, asume it works, because you said it was fine to start with, only test your battery with the multi tester, get your own battery a good quality one from say hobby king, to evolv recomendations aprox 25c constant 50c burst, without looking it up, am on mobile, no point in asking the builder of the mod for a battery you allready know there bad. Its allways going to be swings and rounderbouts, if you build your own mods you save nothing, only that you have the best components, if you buy a ready made mod its going to have some cheap bits on it, to make the money,,,
  17. Quote abandoned.. it is strange. No program changes in escribe or explanations from the bosses compared to earlier on in the year. Not even a short line like,""" we are on the case but am so buissey am having to drop this line while the kettles boiling""" weird.. unless their computer screen has broke and theym having a problem replacing it..
  18. Hopefully they will continue upgrading and adding to the program. Once again i can only appologise i should have checked first but because of on mobile ect.. i would have even bet money all screens had a configarable duration..
  19. yes your right our mate, sorry,,
  20. Hang on a few mins i'm on mobile
  21. Well i build all my own and enjoy them very much both 200's and 40's and like the bit, i choose the 510, buttons and box, i probly carried on building dna 40's for six months after the lanch of the 200 but if a 150 watt, temp control, escribe, metals configarable, with twin 18650's and fixed screen came out today i would order some today.. i do love the 200 but as far as my building and useage goes it would be less headach..
  22. Like conspicuous through absence, lol. IS THERE ANOUTHER DNA COMING OUT??????
  23. I use mobile phone chargers for everything ive got. Samsung 1amp for dna 200's and samsung :750ma for dna 40's, i know the 40's charger board only takes :50ma maximum but so far in a year i havent had any issues or had to renew batteries. I think these mobile phone chargers have a bit moor inbuilt technology which is favourble to the battery.
  24. After 1 hour of inactivity as far as i know..
