  1. Can you post a diagram of how you wired the balancing connector and battery wiring... also post a Device Monitor screenshot with the device plugged in...
  2. So I guess you start using a new coil by making the coil and with both the device and atty at room temperature you identify the coil as a new coil. You vape and vape and at some point with the device resting it will "refine" since you haven't locked the ohm's. After refinement, with everything tight with good connection, you should not have wild swings of the ohms. If you switch atty's and the device and atty are not both at room temperature (or saying they both are not at the same temperature) then as it is vaped and refinement takes place the ohms variance will be greater. Without knowing the exact process you are using while getting the wide ohms swing that's the thoughts I have.... If we had a single screenshot of Device Monitor showing the wide variance while vaping it would be helpful. You could, if you want and have the skill and the proper meters, and the device is not in warranty, you could open the device and check the connections, grounding, 510 connector, and etc. Opening a device mostly voids a device warranty.
  3. Do you mean the ohm's reading shown on the device changes as you vape and then changes back as the coil cools? It is reading live ohm's which is normal. A large variance may mean a loose or poor coil connection, poor connection at the atty connector, or a wiring issue in the device such as a poor ground. The screenshot you posted look pretty good as far as the cold and live ohms being vaped in Power Mode.....
  4. A hot spot in the coil can reach the temp you set in a very short time triggering the Temp Protect message. If the device doesn't see a coil as a TC coil then it will fire in power mode...
  5. Is your Profile 1 set for 316L, Temp not turned off. Also the Temp protect message means you have reached the set temperature. It is not an error message. If it reaches Temp Protect quickly you may have hot spots in your coil build. You are using spaced coils, right?
  6. Contact your vendor or Wismec and see if they have a repair facility.... cracked battery sleds may require replacement and soldering wiring and etc.
  7. Has been done before.... here is a link but the pictures are no longer there... /topic/68242-topic/
  8. hum....... how are you going to assure the 2-cell parallel battery Packs you created in series will balance charge each of the parallel batteries equally? Doesn't seem to safe to me but you probably know more than I. If I wanted to do that I would make sure my Medical and Life Insurance was paid up... LOL
  9. Link to Lost Vape: http://lostvape.com/downloads/ In the Downloads area: SELECT THE DEVICE YOU HAVE AND DOWNLOAD the Firmware file TO YOUR COMPUTER. Open the file in Escribe and upload to your device.... It is always good to backup your .ecig file to computer in case you need it in the future. If you don't find your device .ecig file listed for download you could contact Lost Vape and they should send it to you... Click on "Contact" from the link above... EDIT: You posted you wanted the Lost Vape theme....... Isn't the Finder 250 actually from Think Vape? I may have given you the wrong web site if the Think Vape theme is what you really wanted. Link for Think Vape Tech Support..... http://www.thinkvap.com/index.aspx?lanmuid=95&sublanmuid=745
  10. May not have anything to do with your issue but.... Is Locktite non-conductive and does your 510 uses a chassis ground? Is the 510 grounded still?
  11. We are trying to help so please help us help you.... giz_60 asked you to check the box for cell 1 and cell 2 and do a screenshot while firing. This will let us look at the battery sag of each battery while firing.
  12. giz_60, he is firing the device via the puff function in Device Monitor (lower right corner of DM shows this in his video as he sets the puff seconds) and the first firing is for several seconds then the rest he fires for 3,4,5 seconds each but they drop out almost immediately. I have offered some thought to him but haven't go a reply to them yet.
  13. So you use 2 batteries that are matched and they have not been used as single batteries? Are the batteries charged to the same voltage? Are they matched batteries of the same brand and mah rating? If you look at the voltage of battery 1 and battery 2 in your screenshots/video you see that battery 1 is at 3.9 volts and battery 2 is at 4.21. The voltage should be the same or very, very, very close to the same. If you take out the batteries and switch locations with them does it then show battery 1 at 4.21 volts and battery 2 at 3.9 volts? If not then you could have poor or dirty battery connections and possibly a poor or loose ground somewhere.
  14. When you select the "puff" to be 3,4,5 seconds etc. it should fire for that many seconds. Yours is dropping out after the first "puff" you selected and only firing momentary. Your Batteries are not equally charged and there could be a poor or dirty battery connection(s). Are the batteries a matched set and only used as a matched set?
  15. The video is really hard to see or analyze side-ways and is not very clear. Please post a screenshot of Device Monitor (while firing the device).
  16. Yep, sometimes they ask for the device and other times they ask for the DNA board.... let us know how it goes...
  17. A lot of the features available today started off as suggestions yesterday (or many months ago prior to August 8, 2016). You might review these lengthy videos: https://youtu.be/XXO3qd6XGBE https://youtu.be/Ec4gEntuu7A
  18. hum, maybe you could give Lost Vape another shot at this..... at any rate can you post a screenshot of the data of the Mod Tab of EScribe and a screenshot of Device Monitor (while Firing the device)....check the boxes for Power, Power Set, Cold ohms, and Live ohms.
  19. Have you tried a different atty on the device or do you now get a check atty message with any atty you try?
  20. Does the Mod tab show 2 cells selected... screenshot please...
  21. As giz_60 posted you need to install the .ecig file he posted for you... If you look on the Mod Tab you gave a screenshot of it shows 3 cells selected. You have the Evolv Default .ecig file loaded which is for a DNA200 in your device and you should have the VT133 .ecig file installed which is 2 cells and 133 watt max... ...
  22. Noted the screenshot of Mod Tab..... 3 cell configuration????
  23. From this thread HCigar VT133....he can correct me if he has something else.... /topic/65781-topic/?do=findComment&comment=890509
