Do you have a link to the theme you downloaded so I can download it from there and look at it? -
DNA250C Paranormal Stuck in 'Powerbank' mode
retird replied to Oranges's topic in General Discussion
With the batteries removed try connecting to EScribe with different "data/charge" USB cables if you haven't already done that.. just ruling out a possibility. Did you find a screen in the theme on the device to change (turn off) discharging power bank?? My theme has a screen called USB and I can turn it on/off and can set it to auto detect or connected. My theme is not the default theme either... From the 250C data sheet it says: USB On-The-Go The DNA 250C supports USB On-The-Go. An OTG adapter may be plugged into the Micro USB port on the device to charge any other device capable of charging via USB. By default OTG charging must be toggled on manually from the device. OTG charging can be configured to begin automatically using the Power Bank option in EScribe on the Display tab. OTG charging will not over-drain the DNA 250C. -
Can you save your *.ecig file to your desktop and post the file here? We can look at it and try to help....

DNA250C Paranormal Stuck in 'Powerbank' mode

Maybe you could see if the device will connect to EScribe when the batteries are absent. If so go to the proper place in EScribe and change setting from Power Bank and upload. -
DNA250C Paranormal Stuck in 'Powerbank' mode

You changed to a different theme. Look thru the various screens of the theme for a screen with battery functions/settings/or etc. Is there a screen for battery settings? Is there a setting for Battery-Discharging(Power Bank)? If batteries drop below a certain level the charging circuit won't operate. -
TC mode not working in brand new Sai TAF / Paranormal 250c
retird replied to OtterGlass's topic in General Discussion
I would be surprised if you are operating in TC..... I not seen any ceramic donut that can use TC.... turn the temp down to lowest temp and see if it reduces vapor. If not you are using watts and boost... but your style is best discussed elsewhere... -
Go to the forum Home Page then search for nick salt. Alot of post in this forum in various places....

Check the cell balance tap pinouts against the pin outs of the li-po you put in...and are all connections still solid??? https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250.pdf -
Start at the lowest setting and graduate up till you get the desired results...

Read my last post again, I'll be happy to look at the *ecig file then I should be able to tell you how to get to the right screens........ Themes can be designed differently thus profiles can be found on different screens..... other devices are not as user definable as a DNA...
-
Which device do you have? Different Themes have different screens to work with profiles..... Again profiles can be set in EScribe and uploaded to the device... Post a copy of your *.ecig file and I'll look at it and see where you need to go to set profiles..
-
You were not bashed... you were given good information... and asked to watch the video. to have a better understanding of DNA technology and EScribe.... we are still available.... MAKE SURE TO COPY YOUR *.ECIG FILE TO YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES... that way you can put it back to the original settings should you mess up something...
-
Watch the video @Wayneo gave you.... you must have at least a basic understanding of DNA technology and profiles...
-
@wayneo makes some good points. Profiles should be set up the way you decide to use them. No right/wrong way as long as they suit your needs. I'm one of those guys that have 6 atty's and each atty is used only 1 way (always the same build) thus my profiles are set up by atty's. If I use a certain atty I switch to that profile. Others use profiles differently. Good luck...
-
Just change the profile settings. Selecting the coil material for the wire you are using and selecting the other settings. You can change the name of the Profile also.
-
Wire per the Data Sheet.
-
Depends on how your Theme is designed... find profiles and set in the profile or go into EScribe and set preheat in the profiles and upload. Good idea to save a copy of your *.ecig file before making changes.

Put the profile number on the atty if you are setting profiles for each atty..

Those that will use this will appreciate your work....THX -
hum.... not as expensive as smoking..... $ 7.50 per pack here.... would cost me $ 15.00 per day the way I used to smoke.... 😊 https://airneeds.com/how-to-dispose-of-lithium-batteries/

On a side note: Since your batteries have heated DO NOT USE THEM ANYMORE...THAT'S VERY DANGEROUS...BUY SOME NEW ONES
-
The safety features built into the board are to protect the board. Short circuits, loose wiring, poor battery sled contacts, and etc. outside the board can cause battery heating. Batteries going bad can heat as they degrade over time.....
