retird
OK, I bit the bullet and installed Windows 10 Home version, 64 bit (upgraded from Win 8.1) on one of my laptops this morning. Using latest EScribe and 7/29/15 firmware and it is working great. Device Monitor using Live View has done everything I have asked of it. Everything I have tried throughout EScribe is responsive. Nothing special with the laptop and it is wireless connected to my home network. I did turn off Wireless Sense in Windows 10 during configuration and set Chrome as default browser instead of Edge. basilray
Just a bump back up, while I patiently await a fix.
John
Yeah we think the tabs inside tabs with profiles is where the bug came up. Do you have any versions with profiles working for you?
retird
Windows 10 just pushed an update requiring a reset. The first cumulative package of non-security-focused updates.
James
For those it is not working for, are you on 32 or 64 bit Windows 10?
basilray
I'm running Windows 10 Pro x64. I did the in-place upgrade from 8.1 Pro x64.Across all the versions I still have from Beta and the most recent ones, I don't think any of them with profiles worked. The only one I KNOW worked was a very early one pre-profile.Feel free to DM me for more details or if there's anything you want me to try, James! copyman
For me the last and the penultimate version of EScribe work without problem. Windows 10 Pro / 64 bit, upgrade from Win 7 / 64 bit Ultimate, parallels virtual machine.
FloridaBill
So people doing clean windows 10 installs don't have issues, but upgrade installs do? EScribe is working fine for me (7/29, R1) with Windows 10, upgraded from 8.1.
Podunk Steam
I was hesitant in upgrading a Stream 7 to Win 10 but have seen no issues with it.
BobC
Works fine for me with a clean install
bigLeft
Did anything ever come of this issue? I'm running 64bit windows 10 pro and cannot get EScribe to function. I only get the results of the OP... app opens, but then is completely unresponsive.
