  1. OK, ya that's what I thought but wanted to make sure because after doing the analyser the battery meter hits 0% and I can still vape for a while and it's still at 3.6 volts per cell. Seems like it could still be more accurate.
  2. Makes me think that they may be very close to offering the reference mod and or case in anodised finishes very soon!
  3. I sent my beta reference mod in to be repaired and much to my surprise I received a black one back! For everyone that has seen Evolvs reference mod, it is raw aluminum and not colored in any way. I love this slick anodised finish they put on this as I was going to have it anodised or powder coated anyway. Thanks Evolv!!
  4. Did u change the mod resistance at all? What does your mod resistance say in the box?
  5. I to used to have this problem but it turned out to be some corrosion or something from flux in between the balance port pins.......I also have a battery that will only charge to 3.82 and no further when the other cells reach 4.2 I think in some cases where one cell gets that far out of whack it will never balance out while hooked to the chip....though it probably would hooked to a real lipo charger. When I put a new battery in it was fine. I'm sure that Turbo has checked all this though, as he's an advanced builder.
  6. Try a USB recovery charge........your battery cell voltages are very low
  7. I think it's basically because there are to many variables with titanium and stainless.......u can't really just set up one curve for each of them because there's different types and grades of titanium and especially stainless.....Evolv seem to be very keen on accuracy and if they set just one curve for each of the 2 u could really never be accurate As u can see reading on these forums people are having a hard time getting an accurate curve for these especially stainless...... But this is just my opinion
  8. yes go to the screen tab then go to fields and change default 2 to battery percentage in the drop down
  9. That bandgap seems very low as it should be around 1.037 to 1.072 .....It should always be around 1 volt I would put in a ticket
  10. I to agree with VapingBad bad that this is a refinement issue
  11. It kinda sounds like possibly a loose or tore off resistor from the board but I could be wrong Do u have the watt hours set right on there
  12. Changing the mod resistance don't make the coil read lower ohms it just takes the mod resistance away from it making the actual coil resistance more accurate
  13. U can also find scrren/chip mounts on shape ways or do what I did and put some small foam and double sided tape in between the board and screen to keep the screen pressed firmly against the face of the mod
  14. I still would love to be able to adjust the tempo with the + and - and switch the temp to the wattage section when in temp mode
  15. Your bandgap sounds a little high at 1.1 Moat should be around 1.037 to 1.07.....so maybe that's a possibility
  16. Evolved said that battery should actually be set to 9 hence the default value of 9.......It uses the same battery as evolvs reference mod
  17. I don't see any battery stats or curves at al??
  18. Only the vapor shark charges at 2 amps because it uses a slightly different customised board.........All other mods and dna 200 chips charge at 1 amp
  19. Yea change it to 3.09 Evolv even said actually 3.00 is OK but to use 3.09
  20. James if we vape at say 100 watts would it be better to run the battery analyser at 100 watts to......what I'm trying to say really ....is would u get a more accurate battery rating and curve
  21. Great info James..... that explains a lot about stainless and it's problems in temp mode
  22. Sounds like a bad ground or possibly bad battery connection
