  1. Yep 3.09v. Mine was set to 3.66v originally. Cheers for that other bit of info, sounds far more what I was expecting and matches what another user in here was saying.
  2. Same here in regards to the micro USB. One annoyance I have with mine is I can feel the battery move about sometime giving it a wobble. First time it happened I thought I hadn't secured the atty on tightly. I've taken the back plate off and the battery has the little foam square as per the reviews. I find the wobble to be quite irritating. My other annoyance is how some of the sites and reviewers said this has fast charging like the Vaporshark when it doesn't. The max current is 1a with the supplied charger or other 2a chargers. Oh and the charger has an American style plug despite the fact that I bought this in the UK. Other than that I love the look, feel and compactness of the device and it and my Cthulhu v2 black is my favourite combo looks wise so far.
  3. Thank you, that sounds more in line with other DNA200 mods. I'll link your post to the discussion I'm having with the Volcano rep if you don't mind.
  4. The Hcigar VT200 and Efusion are both decent choices. I have the Lavabox, it's an okay mod but 900mah and 1a max charge so probably wouldn't be a good choice for your needs. I've also got the Cloudmaker Whiteout DNA on pre-order https://vapourdepot.com/product/temp-control/cloudmaker-whiteout-dna/ There's been a few delays but production has finally got underway so hopefully only 2-3 more weeks of waiting. Love the modular approach and how so many things about it can be changed, appeals to the PC builder in me. Also has the option to replace the Lipo with a dual 18650 battery sled and after using the Lavabox I think I'd be happy to trade the 67w for the extra battery life. The Reuleaux looks awesome and surprisingly not that big for a triple 18650 mod. PBusardo ha sit in his device round up in part 3 of his DNA200 review.
  5. No worries, we can only go on what the manufacturer tells us at the end of the day unless we have access to proper testing equipment ourselves. Think I'm going to stick to leaving mine at 0 for the time being as my dual Ni200 builds work a lot better at than as opposed to when I tried changing the mod resistance to 0.02. I would love to see someone who has access to test this themselves run it and give their results though and see how it compares with what Volcano are saying.
  6. Interesting, I'm getting a 0.003/4 variance between my Lavabox and SX Mini M Class. Same for my Ohms meter. Also I ran case analyser on mine last night and got a very different set of results.
  7. Thanks, that pretty much goes with what I was thinking in that the value was too high. I haven't got any copper like what you linked to so will probably wait for the manufacturer to get back to my query.
  8. I tried changing mine to 0.02 as per what they said and the 0.04 Ni200 build I had created dropped to 0.02 and the vape was pretty weak so knocked it back to 0. After seeing the video it made me think their value may be wrong as it sounds like a sales guy giving the info "our tech guys have noted that the resistance value is 0.02" Your post makes me even more suspicious of what they've said.
  9. According to Volcanoecig the mod internal resistance should be 0.02 https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/3mwidt/heres_your_first_look_at_a_full_production/cwdo4e1?context=3 I was wondering if this sounds right to people who build their own? Watching PBusardo's DNA review II Part 2 when he plugs the Vaporshark into Escribe it shows 0.007, seems quite a bit lower than 0.02. I've asked Volcanoecig to clarify but they said they'll look into it and get back to me.
  10. Done and not hitting weak battery till 14% now Will have to run the battery analyser on it when I've got some spare time.
  11. Yeah I think that should be ok. Just keep the atty under observation during the test and make sure its not getting overly hot.[/QUOTE] Cheers, will do.
  12. I don't think I've got any 24g Kanthal, I do have some twisted 26g which is quite thick, would that be okay?
  13. I changed mine to 3.09 as recommended and the battery performance is so much better now, I've not seen the weak battery warning and I had got it down to 19%. I'll trust to people's advice that it's safe to have that setting, so I suppose it comes down to whether you want the device to last longer between recharges or whether you want the battery to last fro longer for swapping it. Considering the price of lipo batteries I'll go for longer times before recharges
  14. Thank you Lewisss, not used Lipos before so wanted to make sure it was safe to change to 3.09 first.
  15. Hi, got a Lavabox on Tuesday and noticed I'm getting week battery when I hit 40-50%. I've been in the Escribe SW and changed the Watt Hours to 9.9 as it has a 900mah 11.1v Lipo and I am planning on running the battery analyzer on the weekend. One thing I noticed on the pbusardo video and some other screen shots is that the Soft Cell Cutoff is set to 3.09v whereas on mine it's 3.66v. Is it safe to set mine to 3.09 and would this be the reason why I'm getting the week battery warning? Or is it more likely that it's a fair bit lower than the advertised 900mah?
