  1. Are you using non-spaced, contact, and compressed coils? I always use spaced. And I just read somewhere where they said compressed SS coils don't work well with TC. Here is an example how I make spaced coils. This one was using nickel 28g on a Kanger Subtank RBA.
  2. It maxs out the wattage until it reaches the temperature value setting. Then it throttles the wattage to maintain a constant temperature. This speeds up your ramp up time.
  3. That is how I remember how capacity is measured too. Although I accidentally left three Eneloop AA NiMH 1900mah batteries in my Kaito KA1121 for a few months. The batteries were flat dead. I threw them in one of my XTAR VC4 chargers and they recovered and the capacity came out to be over 3000mah per each battery. Too bad Eneloops doesn't come in 18650 size.
  4. ^^^ What he said!
  5. The battery percentage AFAIK is tied to the capacity watt hour value. Mine I set to the value of 18.5Wh, what are you using? I rotate between two Samsung 25r5 and two LGHE2 cells. When my VT133 arrived, HCigar didn't have anything setup correctly except having 2 cell selected. A SIDE NOTE: I searched for two days to find pics or a video of someone who had taken their VT133 apart. Oddly I can't find anybody that had. I just may have to crack mine open to see if HCigar had done a very nice job like they did with their VT200.
  6. You may have lost the trust of DNA200 users.
  7. It should power up without any battery and just connected to the USB. And even if it doesn't power up, you still should be able to upload the firmware again. At least on a Windows machine. I am not sure if that is still true on a Mac.
  8. Oh yeah... I guess not for the mini.

  10. Yeah, that part I am not sure? Mine is setup this way. Thermal -> Case USB Charge Temperature Rise: 10°F + 12°F/A If they are not set, it probably would stop charging until you blow on the board. And my values won't be correct for yours, but it should be good enough to try.
  11. Under the mod tab in EScribe, if Charging Mode is set to Maximize Recharges, it only charges to 4.10v. If set to Maximize Puffs, it charges to 4.20v.
  12. It is called job security. Now that most of the RX200 are out of warranty, boost their wattage up and let them fry. Then sell them another mod.
  13. Locking as in 5 click locking? EScribe's Device Monitor will show you if your fire button is intermittent.
  14. This thread probably was inspired by Wismec releasing new firmware (v3.10) a few hours ago for updating the RX200 to a RX250.
  15. Come on... A thread just for updates is really a damn good idea. When Microsoft has updates, do you get notified of every single comment about it? No! That would be just dumb if they did.
  16. Yes I was just being dramatic, but you get the idea.
  17. Yeah well... we all have certain routines and feel comfortable with them. And when it doesn't work like 95% of the other forums, it feels like your head is banging against the wall. And sometimes you just want it to stop.
  18. Well the DNA200 reads ohms from the board, through the mod itself, through the 510, through the atty, and then the coil(s) resistance. Each one is in series and adds up along the way. The DNA200 can be programmed to ignore these resistances, but it must be calibrated to do so.
  19. Where are you getting this 0.30 and 0.35 ohm from? What are you reading this from?
  20. USB cables usually doesn't last a lifetime. I would try another USB cable just to make sure.
  21. Is this with v1.0.42?
  22. I am too running the latest (1.0.42) and with Windows 7 (I don't do Windows updates unless it is for something I am having a problem with) and I haven't had a single problem. Did you try another USB cable? Careful, some USB cables don't have the data lines connected and only work for charging only.
  23. Yes of course. But since the invention of the airplane, people could be anywhere on the globe in a day's time. Okay crossing over the International Date Line is technically another day, but you know what I mean.
