  1. Alcohol should cut any juice I would think. Maybe using something like a glass or a can and pour alcohol in it and drop the Reuleaux in there and let it soak for awhile.
  2. You sprayed hair spray on the fire button? Oh that can't be good. Alcohol might be able to wash that spray away. Oh course, let the alcohol dry before connecting up the battery.
  3. What do you do to setup TC up? We know that you use the wrong TCR curve for the material being used. I myself have no problem with TC at all. I can get it vaping just like I can with wattage vaping. But with added benefits of over temperature protection and dry hit protection.
  4. I have two of them and never one has developed that problem yet. But it does seem your button is intermittent. EScribe's Device Monitor under the Diagnostics button, you can simulate button presses and see if it works fine with them.
  5. Oh yeah you mentioned the RX200. Yes it works the same way as the DNA200. Although the RX200 chip doesn't do refinement as well as the DNA does, so you might want to lock that one.
  6. The only reasons for locking the ohms to my knowledge are the following: 1) You are going to remove battery power while to coil isn't at room temp and replace the battery or reconnect. 2) Your resistance isn't stable enough (loose or dirty connections). 3) Where the air temperature isn't normal, like outside in the winter.
  7. I also have UD SS316L wire (26g), RX200, DNA200, etc. If you need me to check things, just let me know. Did you try the new version of EScribe with SS TC built in yet?
  8. You don't need any Steam-engine files anymore since the latest version of EScribe has SS built in. And since you are not using TC, but just power mode. You really don't need to do anything with TC stuff until you start using it.
  9. Your post with EScribe Device Monitor screen shot also shows the live ohms increasing a bit as the temperature of the coil rises. I am guessing you are using SS in wattage mode. Thus the Laisimo is adjusting the voltage higher as the live ohms increases to maintain the same wattage.
  10. The Laisimo does display volts (I don't think it is live). Plus I don't know if the volts are read as peak, average, or RMS. It is probably the latter. The Laisimo has a nice huge color display. It also communicates to another device by Bluetooth. It stores stats like puffs per day, time of each puff, at what wattage, how many seconds, and at what resistance.
  11. Not on a DNA200, but on a Laisimo it is apparently fine.
  12. When you fire up EScribe and run the Device Monitor. Check boxes for Power, Voltage, and Live Ohms. Now vape normally and what does the graph look like? For Voltage and Power you might see a quick rise, but all three should quickly become a perfectly straight line during the vape. If they are, then I can only think of one thing. Your Laisimo isn't really hitting at the wattages you set it at, but something less (so you have to set the DNA less to match). The Laisimo also uses pulse output at higher wattages while the DNA gives you true steady wattage output.
  13. Phil Busardo says it will be available in about a month.
  14. You know, if it were me. I would disconnect the battery and reconnect it a few minutes later before I requested a RMA. It probably won't help, but it is worth a shot maybe. That is assuming you have a driver for those odd looking screws (I forgot what they are called).
  15. Yeah I don't think that is going to happen. It could if the firmware was updated maybe (if the hardware was there to support it, which it probably doesn't). But the firmware isn't user upgradeable anyway.
  16. I don't know of any off hand right now, but this place is gearing up to make 3D printed ones for the RX200. And I asked them what about the DNA200? And they said they will look into it. Say what is the faceplate made out of anyway? Is it plastic? CUSTOM Reuleaux RX200 Panel & Button kits! Oh the above is a reddit link and they are having their April Fools prank. So don't think you were sent to Fasttech.
  17. Oh yes. The problem is when you clone Drive C, you also clone all of its memories as well. And Windows gives all drives a serial number and then remembers this drive. So what happens is Windows knows this new drive isn't drive C, so it won't accept it as drive C. The fix is to change the serial number. Then Windows has no memory of this drive and will now accept this drive as the new drive C.
  18. Well my thoughts are just that at 2A, the VS gets quite warm and I had some concerns about that.
  19. Well I can't tell you much because I don't know much about them. But it is listed in EScribe as one of the battery types you can use.
  20. I noticed in EScribe, you can add more Material types too besides those three. I haven't played around enough to see if there is a limit. But the box looks like it holds eight at least. But like Kresell stated, they are not the same as Profiles. Although Profiles can use Material types.
  21. Well only one thing left. In EScribe, file and save should save everything. I would use save as and create a brand new file name after you connection and download from the device. I would save your profiles too (you don't have too) and your theme (again and you don't have to). And under the General tab there is a button that says Restore Defaults. Now if that doesn't help, I can't think of anything else except a hardware failure. And be careful after Restore Defaults. Wattages and TC and maybe other things won't be where you left them.
  22. Sure why not? You have come this far.
