  1. And the serial command for Set Profile is M=# (1 to 8) EG: M=1 M=5 And to read it M=Get
  2. Device Monitor shows the profile number just to the left of the version info in the bottom rhs of the window.
  3. Sort of, the 1 A is at 5 V and that will be converted to the battery voltage so at lower volts like 9 V it will be more like 0.5 A and at higher 12.3 V it would be more like 0.4 A. The charge current goes through all 3 cells through the thick battery wires, they are all charged at the same time, balancing works by discharging the high cells through the thinner wires on the balance connector and works on a cell by cell basis.
  4. I think I have seen it explained both ways at various times, but I think that recently they added disconnect into the mix so if it knows you change the atty your chances go up, but it is not every time, perhaps work in progress. I would rather have it displayed too often than not enough.
  5. Yes, it would be the same sort of time as a Nitecore D4 or I4 charger, around 400 mA per battery avg (@ 4 V, more amps when lower V, less when higher).
  6. Yes a tidier version of what I did for the DNA30, I got the idea from the ZNA, but that requires button top batteries.
  7. I just tried a few with range set to 35.16% 0.06 to 0.12 go prompt, 0.09 to 0.10 still got prompt With range set to 20% 0.09 to 0.06 got prompt, 0.06 to 0.12 got prompt
  8. I have just spotted an error on the temp limiting section the decision "Temp too high or low?" should just be "Temp too high?" and the "low" path should be "No" and the "High" should be "Yes". I will change it and repost.
  9. Maybe the screen cable getting caught under the fire switch or some sort of case short or ground problem, but just vague possibilities and not actual first hand knowledge.
  10. Hey VB.. you spying on me through my web cam?? I was working on the exact same thing last week while trying to explain to a friend of mine how the DNA works. I must admit yours is much better laid out than my first effort, great job mate [/QUOTE] You may think that, I couldn't possibly comment
  11. You could have damaged the board "clipping" the fire button off it forms part of the circuit and Evolv have advised to just unclip the top if you want to disable it. You maybe able to put jumper wires across the pads if you have not damaged them and get it working perfectly.
  12. It is time limited for safety, so it may take a few goes I would check the mod is not getting hot between tries and the cell voltages are raising.
  13. It would need recovery charging, maybe a few time as two cells are so low, Escribe -> Device Monitor -> Diagnostics -> Advanced
  14. Try them out in device monitor and see, you should see the pre-heat stopping quicker with the punch lower, but there are so many variables you may need to adjust power and temp to make the plot easier to read.
  15. Power = heat, then that heat is applied to something and depending on many things like it mass and it's current temperature the temperature will rise. EG 100 W for 1 s into a small single coil would get to a higher temp than in big dual coils.
  16. The latest fw should pick it up after it sees 0 ohm resistance, if the value on the screen does not go to zero when you disconnect the first atty press fire before fitting the second.
  17. Punch is how "aggressive" or close to you set temperature it will go and maybe how quick it will ramp up. The PH will increase the power up to the PH power setting until the time limit is reached or the temperature reaches the threshold set in the Punch, whichevery happens first. The default threshold was 100 F below your set temperature on the 40 and looks the same on the 200.
  18. Don't panic, just wait for the new battery and see how it is then, at worst if GearBest leave you hanging Evolv will usually sort you out.
  19. Not a good idea to put mod res in if you are not sure, especially vary high figures like 0.02, both my mods measure 0.004 (not lavaboxes). Either wait for an official figure or measure it yourself see this thread for detail /topic/65594-topic/
  20. It is in the latest version in the early fw thread.
