You dont need to be connected to escribe .. to Change csv profiles, lock device press all three buttons, up down and fire, scrole to desired profile when promted, Change between your eight presets after setting, from an open mod not locked press both up and down buttons to lock up down buttons, double press either up or down button to enter presets, scroll throguh, select by just using what ever is on screen.

What did you say the name of the mod was, some where renound for a robbon pinch, and ribbon loop rubbing on fire button, think one was the hcig.

That box is shorter than a 1590a, but i would go for the said and use a 26650, should be snug and still space for a centered up 510, i hate ofset,,,

no i was on about coming off the board with 4little wires then fitting my jsth connector to them rather than direct onto the board, its just a bit moor move aboutable, but you need all your bits together and think it through whats best and suits you, never needed to shorten the jsth leads off the battery because they just squish down nice and small anyway and it would be pointless extra work, but i have halfed battery leeds and used the half to connect to the board and back to battery via a mechanical connection ie, xt30 ect. Edit.. Oh yeh, i have got someone in mind to do a dna75 for, and then i can say ive built one, and had a good go with it,, but i'm not that taken at the moment, i dont know anything aboug tham.. i'm quite happy with my lipo power paks, moor wattage than i ever need use, except i am pre heat punching Ni200 at 100 watt, so thats one thing to compare..

Rudedog94:: Any new build i fit the board beffor measuring for a battery, unless ive been told otherwise, but have still stripped some of the outer skins off one or two to get to fit (it hasnt worried me, because of being sealed in a metal box,) Xt 60s take up too much space for me, but if you have the room you will probly find that if you have your jsth connector on an inch or so on leads off the board rather than insitue soldered, it will have no pronlem just sliding in between the pos and neg of the xt connector. i cut the male and females out of the xt30s and solder them, and then cover them with shrink tube once connected, just slide it allong..

yes but big, you only have to go 25c constant// 60c puls burst, bet that xt90 will take up half the size of 200 board. you do know that just because its a high output board it doesn't mean the whole thing has to be massive,,

if it doesn't work in your hand but shows signs of life usb connected to escribe, it may be the fuse blown,

when ever its happened to me its been a bad coil connection, try building another coil.. you don't say what wire or ohm, resistance ect

Oh god yeh tin ya wire, nothing worse to give advise and leave a bit out , lol, tin ya wire lad, but not ya board, dont go near it till ya ready to solder to it, just a tiny dab o flux..

Op, you can try other metals on your dna40 in temp mode other than ni200, i know for sure Nife30 works in temp mode and am sure other members when online will list other wires for you. EDIT.. OH GOOD GRIEF MIKE DUDE THAT WAS A MONTH AGO, HES PROBLY KILLED IT BY NOW ANYWAY..

Plenty on utube on soldering, Three easy steps 1: keep it clean, wire, board, soldering iron. 2: dab of flux, wire, board, soldering iron. 3: practice ::: on somthing beffor you commit, bits of wire ect.

sos mate i cant help ya with premade stainless coils, i recomend using the build deck and use ni200 or Nife30, but if your set on stainless,,again go for 316 on the build dec and use the pre set value in your mod, people recomend turning off or right down your preheat punch.. in escribe..

I do to but i have never had any feedback from evolv on what the problem had been on boards ive sent in, i would have thought as a time and production thing it would have gone straight in the bin.. might be different with the one in question if they keep turning up,,,, see what turns up in the wash..

Yes ive got three sky blue and one nice white one which i believe to be a true monochrome, there have been some variants in production, one fitting both dna40 and 200 and others, sole 200 and sole 40, even the contractors factory burnt to the ground and then nothing at all for months, so for me anythings better than nothing,, but i do like my white one..... I dont think its anything to get stressed over, when i send boards out of uk to usa i tell the post master its a dead non live part of a computer circuit no battery no power. When your friend books in, and the same for booking out on the other side, they will have all their baggage with them, the person on the desk will know exactly what to do, its their job, no worries, your friend will definatly not be the first..
