I have another lost vape 250c that does the same thing (The Tirade), could you indicate on your picture where you put the electrical tape as i seem to be a little dense this morning and can't see where you put it.

multiple ui Gauges - Major update 2.0.0
Fr33sp1r1t commented on SirTimmyTimbit's file in DNA 75 Color, 100 Color, 250 Color
You say at the beginning of your intro " All the graphs and numbers should update while firing ". I only get the numbers for power/temperature updating when firing, the graphs are static. The graphs update when I change the value of power/temperature. I was just wondering if anyone else had this. I am using EScribe Suite 2.0 SP12/ firmware 1.1 SP27 (International Edition) if that makes a difference.- 150 comments

Paranormal 75C resistance too high FIX
Fr33sp1r1t replied to ThatGuySwain's topic in General Discussion
The value measured using a copper plug was 0.011 ohms, so using Evolv's recommendation of using 80-90% of your test reading i set mine to 0.0094 (or 85% which is just slightly higher than setting of 0.0081 that Lost Vape had originally set (if i had used 80% it would be even closer at 0.0088)). Just for information, before this procedure it had a reading of 0.026 ohms .- 45 replies

Question about Escribe theme designer.
Fr33sp1r1t replied to Fr33sp1r1t's topic in General Discussion
Ok this was the way i thought it initially worked, but on futher investigation it actually selects the item/control but does not use the 'Highlight Selectable' values until you press one of the 'up,down, select' buttons (sort of how i thought it should work). A "problem" occurs when the Default Condition is 'Status' (why i was having an issue), it never uses the 'Initially Highlighted' if cheched value it uses/defaults to 'Tab Index' 2 (or the next highest index if 2 is unselectable) as far as i can tell. The workaround, if anyone is interested, is to use a different control as the default condition (such as label) add a 'not Highlighted' condition for 'Status' (and another condition for 'Firing' which is exactly the same as the 'Default Condition' just to stop it showing the Status 'Firing') and you then have a control that can go to another screen, but when it is not selected shows the status of whatever else is highlighted. See here for example of it working. On the main screen the previews show a blank line at the bottom, what the actual screen shows is 'Settings' and is selectable to go to that screen but if anything else is selected it shows it's Status (i.e. Temp, Power or Profile on this screen) -

This theme is inspired by IVÆ's 'Evolve 24Hour Big Letters BusardoStyle' theme (I have the same complaint everything is to small ). It doesn't have the boost controls yet (it does have Preheat), as I tend to vape Temp control exclusively (i will get there eventually once i figure it out). Thank You Freespirit -
I am using Escribe 2.0 SP8. When designing a theme on the main screen one of the 'items' (Status) has the box "Initially Highlighted" checked (it has a label and status when not firing). My problem is when i unlock the device I assumed that "Initially Highlighted" meant it would be highlighted automatically when the screen was on if no direction buttons had been pressed. It does not seem to do that, so what does Initially Highlighted do?

This is a tweaked White Paranormal version of Jasonvillamil's 'Evolv DNA 75C Enhanced Default Theme 2.0'. I find this easier to read at night (My eyesight needs functionality over form ). I also removed the Performance screen as I found it unnecessary, the profile is changed on the Main Screen now (sorry Jasonvillamil ). To change Materials goto the Profile Screen on the Settings Screen. The screen temp increment is changed to 1 degree increments as I tend to only make small adjustments due to enviromental changes. All Credit for the Original theme goes to Jasonvillamil.- 1 review

Got it yesterday no pic's yet. Nice quality, solid feeling mod so far (the Gun metal finish is a bit of a finger print magnet , the reddish 'raptor' leather is nicely grippy with a squishy feeling). Still trying to find/design an interface that I really like (will upload the one i'm working on just now when I'm happy with it). Not sure about battery life yet, have 2 new samsung 30Q's in it using dual 0.52 ish ohm, SS 316L (28/32 awg) Claton coils (comes out about 0.26 ohms) set to 55w (60w preheat) at 185° C, and after using on and off for about 4hrs today it has droped about 15% (this is similar to what i saw yesterday after full charge). Will reserve judgment on battery life until when I've used it for about a week and tried more tanks/dripper/coil variations. Overall I'm happy with it.

Got one from the same place as tommybavfc, Gun Metal/Raptor (May not be real Raptor though LOL, ). Arrives Monday, already have a Triade 250 (in Black Elephant, (where do they get these names )) and it is superb. Will report back when it arrives.

Triade DNA 250 Temperature Control Stopped Working
Fr33sp1r1t replied to Quagmicah's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
As an observation from user incompetance (mine), was using a Smok G2 on a Triade 250, with a SS316L 26/32awg dual clapton coil, 8 wraps 3mm diameter. The restistance should have been about 0.3 ohms. This build i have used in other tanks (Smok S2, Griffin 25+) without any problems (nice coolish vape for me at about 200 degrees C). This time it was doing exactly as the OP's Tirade was doing. Stripped the build checked tightness/touching etc. all the usual things. Nothing was working EScribe was basically showing a flat-lined resistance (and slightly higher than my coil calculator was predicting for the build and it's normally pretty accurate). To cut a long story short it actually turned out to be my stupidity when cleaning the G2. I had not taken the removable deck out to clean the connection (on previous usage I had some leakage of a sugary eliquid [user error]) and it was giving me a highly unstable ohm reading. Once this was cleaned and I had rebuilt the tank it worked as expected. Moral of this tale keep your gear clean (especially if there had been "user error" involved when it worked before) -
I tend to use either the Lemo 2 (510 pin reversed for better connection) or one of my 2 Chthulu V2's (with the Velocity style deck) for my ADV, a Subtank mini (using the RBA deck) for 'trial' or quick flavours (easiest to strip and clean) and a Kayfun 4 (with the spring changed to a copper 'spacer' for stable ohms) for a change or nights out (very tight draw and bomb proof with the metal tank section) all using Ti (twisted pair, 28AWG) wire in TC mode at about 200 degrees C.
