  1. LOL, he's gone Wayneo, banned, for the second time.
  2. the SP updates are for the 200/250 boards. there hasn't been a FW update for the 75 board yet (excluding the small "weak battery" update) .
  3. welcome to the forum DonVito. the short answer, with DNA boards, yes. the 200/250 boards have built in balance charging. the 60/75 have a quality 1 amp linear battery charger. all of these boards have safety measures built into them.
  4. the 250 creates more heat while charging than the DNA 200. i usually see around 115-120F while charging at the full 2 amps. there are temp safety limits built into the DNA 250 that will protect the board, batts, and more importantly you, i wouldn't worry too much about it. from what i've been seeing/hearing, the 250 runs around the 110-125F while charging (at 2 amps). as for batteries not fitting properly in the sled, maybe there is something on the door you could shave down for better fit. dunno.
  5. does the mod fire niko? if you look inside the USB port do you see any ejuice, dirt ? any broken or bent USB pins inside? other than that, you could contact the vendor you purchased the mod from or open a help ticket with Evolv
  6. that battery should be fine. the way i understand calculating maximum discharge current is - mah/1000 x C = Amps so yes 175a's just know the DNA 200 will only draw 23 amps maximum, so that battery is overkill and will take a long to charge using the DNA 200's on-board 1 amp balance charger, but will work just fine.
  7. for the triade, it depends on the type of 18650's you're using. as for the lavabox, do you have the stock 900 mah lipo or the 1300 mah upgrade?
  8. welcome to the forum tortoise. can you post a screenshot of EScribe's DEvice monitor while trying to fire the mod with the build in question? it sounds like a poor connection somewhere - 510, atty, posts, wires, etc.
  9. no email notifications for new firmware as of yet, but you can check this thread about every month or so to see if there are any updates....... /topic/66731-topic/
  10. hi versus158. the solara might be relying on the 3 board screws for a 510 ground. they might have come loose creating a weak connection, reading wrong ohms. if the device is still under warranty you can return it to the vendor for a replacement or you can open up the mod and see if what i stated is the problem.
  11. with evolv, the parameters on the OLED screen (watts volts etc.) are updated dynamically. for example, when you press the fire button, you'll see the wattage climb from 0 up to your set wattage, this is normal operation for evolv boards. there is a slight intentional delay, to allow the screen to be readable, between what the screen shows and what the board is actually putting out in real time. basically, when you press the fire button it only takes mere milliseconds for the board to actually put out 30 watts.
  12. exrexr, can you post a screenshot of device monitor while firing the nano. maybe it will help us diagnose what's going on. also, what did you "tweak" in EScribe?
  13. hi MESS, can you post a screenshot of device monitor with the battery box options ticked.
  14. honestly a screenshot of device monitor would help and prove whether you need to replace the lipo. if you have DMM you can check the individual cell voltages, that is another sure way to tell if the cells are unbalanced.
  15. it's a connection issue, where? who knows. the res readings are off and TC isn't working properly because of a poor connection somewhere between the board, and possibly including, the 510 connector. i'm not familiar with how flawless grounds their 510 connectors. if they are grounding the 510 solely by the three board screws, i'd say give them a quick tightening to see if that clears up the resistance reading issues. this of course requires you to open up the mod. edit...it appears flawless is relying on the three board screws for the 510 ground. they most likely need re-tightening and also a good cleaning between the mating surfaces of the two halves of the mod because the 510 is on the half without the board, so where the two halves of the mod join together is actually part of the 510 ground path. get what i'm saying? tighten screws - clean the two halves (the bare aluminum areas)
  16. go back into EScribe and set your mod resistance to 0 and upload that value to your tugboat. after that open atomizer analyzer and take note of the raw ohms. the reading should be fairly steady with only slight fluctuations. if the ohms are jumping around a lot, you could have a connection issue somewhere. what would also help is a screenshot of device monitor firing the build with these options ticked........... (this is for a 75 but options are almost the same) make sure you're using the correct wire CSV for your wire.
  17. have you emailed Lost Vape? try their warranty center or even their official website. warranty center > http://www.lostvaperepaircenter.com
  18. hi nikoskater8. i would make sure all of your connections are secure in your atty, use spaced wraps as well. as for guessing as to what your mod's internal resistance is, i would recommend setting it no higher than 0.005 for the time time being until you're able to measure it correctly. as for losing your watt hour capacity (battery bar) when uploading settings, in my footer you'll see "latest versions of EScribe", i recommend downloading and using the new 1.2 SP5 update, it solves a few issues, losing the battery meter is one of them. as for the screen saying off, it's because the base ohm reading isn't correct and DNA 200 isn't seeing a consistent rise is resistance, therefore kicking you out of TC. this is all do to poor connections. I.E. dirty 510 threads, center pin / loose post connections in your atty / touching and/or hot spots in your coil/coils (spaced coils are best for consistent TC). another possibility is incorrect wire CSV or your set wattage is too low, not allowing the coil to heat up fast enough for the board to recognize it as a TC wire.
  19. battery analyzer isn't super complicated. basically a bunch of loops of kanthal or nicrhome in an rda and set the mod in front front of a fan to keep it kool. as for firmware, if you look in my footer you'll see "latest versions of EScribe", i would use the new 1.2 SP5 update. when you start getting the weak battery message take note at what both of cell's voltage are in device monitor. just to make sure, are you getting a"weak battery" message or are you getting the "check battery" message? there's a difference between those two. (on the SP4 and SP5 update there is no weak battery message. this message is replaced by a flashing battery bar.)
  20. i'll throw my 2 cents in..............i've noticed some days i'll be able to vape a juice and my throat/lungs are cool with it. then the next day, with the same juice, i can't vape it because it's way to harsh. my guess is it's just our bodies adjusting to changes in the vape. i vape 3 mg. juice and most of my juices are 70% VG or higher (makes for a smoother vape). that's my guess! you could try a lower PG ratio and/or nic level (3mg).
  21. welcome to the forum Avath. what is your "Cell Soft Cutoff" set to in EScribe? a good value would be 2.8 volts for 18650's. what watt hour "capacity" do you have input? the VTC5 would be 19.24 wh's / the LG HG2 would be 22.2 / LG HE4 would be 18.5
  22. hi reezco. i'm not a fan of batteries that are re-wraps of other batteries. i would stick with batteries that have not been re-wrapped by secondhand companies. good batteries for the DNA 75, when vaping 50+ watts, would be samsung 25r / sony vtc4 - vtc5a / lg hd2 - hd2c- hd4 to name a few. i personally like the sony vtc5a. they work well and last quite a while in my dna 75 mod vaping at a high wattage.
  23. did this mod ever work (did you build it and have not been able to get it working)? is this a custom 3d printed sled? it looks like the the device is being solely powered by the USB. even though it is reading the cell voltages in device monitor, the batt contacts might be barely touching the ends of the batts and when it comes time to actually draw current from them to fire the atty, the sled contacts can be losing connection. post a screenshot of DM while trying to fire an atty. make sure pack and cells 1-2 are ticked. post an entire screenshot, graph included, of the DM window, not just the boxes to left. (are you familiar with the snipping tool to take screenshots?)
