By chance, does anyone have case analyzer stats for a 1590a with a Fullymax 900mah? if you could post a screen shot of the mod section, manufactures settings, with the case analyzer numbers from escribe for me I'd be grateful.

an rma is a email-form evolv sends you for you to print out, fill out, and ship with your chip back to evolv in ashtabula ohio.

turnigy and fullymax are my two favs. zippy is good too. havent personally seen one explode yet.

so far ive seen this fit. little tight but fits. you need to switch the xt60 with a xt30 http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Zippy-Compact-1300mAh-3S-11-1V-25C-35C-Lipo-Battery-Pack-RC-XT60-XT-60-USA/131393798927?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D34002%26meid%3Daa706a314ef140e6877e65f877753018%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D141348210914&rt=nc

Feature Request - 2 amp charging
Spector NS5 RD replied to skineedog's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
the current board evolv sells to the public will not support 2 amp charging. vaporshark asked evolv to make them a special board. vaporsharks dna pcb is slightly longer and it has to be to accomodate the extra components for 2 amp charging. no firmware upgrade will allow the current version of the board to do so. but maybe in the future evolv might sell the dna with 2 amp charging. look for a topic in general discussion i posted about how vaporshark has 2 amp charging. that will explain more. /topic/66857-topic/?do=findComment&comment=901462 -
im using a chuwi hi8 windows 10 dual OS tablet. $99 at gearbest.com. i really like it, only setback is: limited battery life on tablet, only one usb port (you cant charge the tablet and run escribe with a mod connected at the same time, and as we all know when the dna is connected to escribe it automatically starts charging with no option of turning it off.). so maybe find a tablet with at least usb ports.

No battery icon, can't fire mod

not to bum you out but i think it might be RMA time unless someone else can chime in. try a to force a firmware update. under tools. make sure its the latest version. -

what is each cell voltage in escribe? It's not on the "power supply" option is it? Make sure its on "3 cell" and make sure your watt hours are set correctly. Try them bizkits out and post back. -
-
As for hcigar configuring the watt hour for the batt, its a false number. 14.3 or whatever they put in is wrong. its closer to an 1100 mah pack, so whatever that translates into WH's.

are the ohms the same from one device to the other? i do know the vt200 is not set up in escribe. EX: mod resistance, case analyzer. They can all play a role in a varying vape from one device to another. 510 connection also. i dont think the ni200 csv has changed any.

how many amps does each cell charge at?
Spector NS5 RD replied to Spector NS5 RD's topic in Batteries and Charging
I thought it charges and discharge(as needed) through the taps? So youre saying it takes the usb voltage and boosts it to around 12 volts and charges through the main positive and negative......then skims off excess voltage from a cell or cells that charge too quickly, to keep everything balanced. -

Spector NS5 RD replied to Spector NS5 RD's topic in Batteries and Charging
i know evolv says one amp charging, just wondering if that amp gets split 3 ways (.333). Or does the board only charge one cell at a time, giving that cell the full amp, then move down to the next lowest voltaged cell, so on and so on? -
2 amp charging circuit, how's it done.
Spector NS5 RD replied to Spector NS5 RD's topic in General Discussion
Good question. I'm guessing no, or at the very least some serious modding to the board. You'd have to modify evolv's charging circuit or bypass it, all the while keeping in mind escribe is communicated through the USB port. Probably easier to ask evolv for the 2 amp version of the DNA 200. Ask super nicely and you might get lucky. Evolv has helped me out replacing a few DNA 40's. Some of em my fault, some faulty from the get go. Either way awesome CS. -

Thanks Nick, that explains it. People are under the impression VS still use a daughter board. I figured evolv was doing something special for VS. -

How is VS doing 2 amp charging with the DNA 200? Anyone have pics on how? They bypassing evolv's balance charger? Evolv making hardware and/or firmware changes?
