1. Given all the .NET Framework references in that error, do you maybe have a version of Microsoft .NET Framework installed on the laptop that is not on the desktop? Seems like it could be a missing dependency issue.
2. If anyone wants to argue and debate the regulations then by all means feel free. If you feel someone is wrong, then provide facts and information to counter their point and add to the conversation. Defaulting to personal attacks adds nothing to the conversation and simply demonstrates you have no counter-argument or facts. I understand we are all a bit upset about things, but fighting with each other over it brings nothing positive to the table.

4. Here is a copy of the Solidworks model, IGES, and two different versions of STEP. I am not super familiar with IGES or STEP and simply let SW2016 convert them. Let me know if anything converted incorrectly or you have issues with these in your respective 3d software of choice. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxnf8OwrMZ7OVmtHUnVsckNQSzg/view?usp=sharing
5. Evolv's goal has always been to make the safest and most advanced personal vaporizer products on the market. If our products are not capable of meeting the standards set forth and passing regulations then we question whether any products will be available.
6. If you own a legitimate Solidworks 2015 license then you can open Solidworks 2016 files with Solidworks 2015 SP5.0. You will just want to upgrade to SP5.0 which you are entitled to by owning a 2015 license.
7. If possible try to keep questions, comments, issues, praise, brimstone, fire, or general feedback to this thread for now. Trying to figure out the best way to organize the forum for the addition of the 75.

10. If the cell is indeed completely flat it will likely need a new pack. SMY's US based repair can be reached at smyrepaircenter@gmail.com
11. Try a rubber band between the screw head and screwdriver to prevent it from slipping if its starting to strip. Make sure to push down with a decent amount of force.
12. Just to chime in, this was likely caused by windows update driver search. I have noticed on a few select machine that the device will connect, the board shows up in Device Manager, but it doesn't become "available" to connect to EScribe as the driver search sometimes takes 5-10 minutes. Not sure exactly why it works so fast on some machine, and takes forever on others but I've had to turn this off under advanced system options in a few cases, such as on my laptop. We looked into this a bit but it seems to be related to how windows handle drivers and not something we are doing.
13. Every single DNA200 is capable of the same features, there are no different versions of the DNA200.
14. Glad to see you got your device up and running again! Enjoy it.
15. So this is a tidbit of exciting news, I just heard that SMY will have a US repair center soon and a representative from it will be visiting our facility soon for training.
16. I completely agree with you. We make it so easy for ANY manufacturer to service their customers devices its a wonder that some of them don't. If a manufacturer wants to send us as many boards as they want for RMA, we replace them. As soon as they come in the door we send new boards right back out to minimize turn around time. After we have the manufacturer taken care of we will then count and verify the return later as time allows and make any adjustments needed to their accounts. IE if the return is marked as 200 boards and we only count 195 we will dock the next order 5 boards.
17. While we do take some mods in, we unfortunately cannot on the SMY SDNA mods. Since some have asked what exactly I do, a decent part of what I do is take apart various manufacturers devices and familiarize myself with the design, and how they go together. With the SMY mods, for one, you have to remove the carbon decal/sticker to access the screw which allows you to open the case. This decal is pretty difficult for our service technicians to remove in one piece without either destroying the decal or marring the mod. On top of that, SMY uses some kind of ungodly strong double sided tape or glue to affix their lipos inside the device. I had such a hard time the other day attempting to remove one that I eventually gave up as the pack was starting to bend from the force of trying to remove it. You have to remove the pack in order to remove the board mount as well. I know this isn't the kind of news anyone who owns an SDNA wants to hear. We do our best to provide feedback on serviceable designs to the manufacturers, but after that is up to them to actually take the advice and do something with it.
18. I got one of those at the St. Louis Vape Expo last week. Really silly, but really cool.
19. So figuring this out for the next version, I assume, means not in the update that will be coming soon but the next one? Only asking to avoid confusion/ mis-understanding later. THX Nick
I'm using update/version interchangeably. It could be out in the next one, or three versions from now. I have no way of knowing until our developer sits down and sees how much work it will be. I am hoping to try and get us on a "SCRUM" type development gameplan here shortly.
20. Good afternoon! Just wanted to let everyone know that as of this post screens are restocked on the Evolv website and available for purchase. As an FYI, these screens are ONLY compatible with the DNA200. We appreciated everyone's patience while we worked tirelessly to end the screen shortage, and that time has finally come! Available here --> http://evolvapor.com/dna200.php
21. This is 110% something that will be in a new version. We do not just want to take TCR curves and throw them in the presets without knowing they work.
22. That's great news, Nick. I appreciate you folks taking these issues seriously. This one issue in particular, sticks out like a sore thumb. THANKS!!
I agree, it could be a bit "nicer" but again, thats why we do actually read and listen to feedback. The only issue I see is someone changing settings while Device Monitor is open, however in that case we should be able to simply just trigger a relaunch of the Device Monitor window if it is open.
