Still too much for a high amp cell. Is the wheel that tightens the cell tight enough?
-
I don't understand those squiggly lines at the beginning of charging. As far as voltage drop if yours looks comparable to mine then you good to go for that. I plugged mine in without a cell installed, it looked wild but still not like yours.
-
That's 3.72v on the voltage drop with full charged cell, you should expect yours to be about the same. Were the 3 screws on the top plate in need of tightening. Did any screws appear loose.?
-
What cell are you using?

manual dna60C (color screen)?
dwcraig1 replied to oderon's topic in Manuals, Instructions, and Tutorials
After you take a puff and RDY shows that means "Replay Ready" . If that is the puff that you want to save highlight the play icon and hit the fire button. Now it should be in Replay mode. To take it out of Replay mode highlight the play icon and hit the fire button. -
You might consider completely removing that plate to see that there is no anodiztion interfering with it's connection to the chassis.
-
How many ml's of liquid is that 150 puffs?
-
One thing that I would be looking if I did indeed have one would be that top plate on the mod. That plate grounds the battery to the chassis, check to see if screws are tight. Most likely the 3 screws that hold the board into the chassis provide the ground for the board, check to see if those are tight. Remove cell before trying to tighten that bottom screw. Do this only if you are comfortable doing so. It doesn't appear as easy to get to the boards screws like on mine.

No this is an Evolv v1 reference mod issued for beta testing.

I tried EagleRock's .ecig file and didn't see any problem with it.

I was going to post this yesterday morning but changed my mind, well I decided to go ahead and post it. This is after one full tank and starting a 2nd tank on the same Samsung 20S 18650 (2000mAh, 30 amp). The voltage drop on the 2nd firing is 3.40 volts. 35 watts with 2 boost and 2 warmth. Standing voltage taken with meter after this was 3.65 volts. The 1st puff here is Rplay on,
-
It appears to me that your not supplying the board with the needed power. Could be a number of things, weak battery, poor battery coonection to battery contacts, ect. 3.29 volts drop on a full charge cell is a problem.
-
Hoover your mouse over where the red arrow is pointed at and post the voltage reading. Nevermind I see 3.29v on the right.
-
The boards are the same foot print so they will interchange in that respect. But they are a completely different boards with Replay. The screen is not the exact same size but close. The only US seller I see is Protovapor and it includes the charger board. https://www.protovapor.com/product/evolv-dna-60c-color-retail-box/

DNA250c (Steamcrave Hadron Pro) Charging issue(s)
dwcraig1 replied to ultranothing's topic in Batteries and Charging
When charging stops at 27% what is the USB voltage reading? You USB power looks really low, do you get the same reading for USB power when plugged into another USB port? Have you tried a USB charger block (wall charger)? Have you tried other cables? -

dwcraig1 replied to ultranothing's topic in Batteries and Charging
Having a 5 pin JST makes me think that it is a 4 cell LiPo. Do you have a volt meter? Your Device Monitor shows 14+ volts so it's a 4 cell. I missed that earlier. -

Did you bridge balance tap connections 3 & 4 as shown here? https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf -
2, 3, 4 and B+ are bridged together. That is how I wired mine. Replace the wire going from 4 to B+ or solder bridge it and you should have it working again.
-
While I mentioned checking for liquid on the board I was more concerned with the solder joints. How do they look? Do you have a volt meter?
-
The cell voltages are being read from the balance tap. Check yours if you're able to. Check the condition of the solder joints as well as if any e-liquid is present. G,1, 2,3, and 4.
-
Do you have another RBA to try besides the Meson?
-
Yes I truely missed that the live ohms were lower than the cold ohms. I'm glad Wayneo caught it.
-
1st picture looks as expected, 2nd picture I have no idea what is causing that. If you purchased it locally you might try contacting them otherwise open a ticket with Evolv or StealthVape
-
When using EScribe's Device Monitor does your cold ohms vs live ohms appear as expected? Could you post a screen firing in wattage mode?
