--------------------------------------------------------------

Replay infoThis theme works with Replay for 75c devices (250c devices work with Replay by default). BUT you need to have the International Edition of EScribe 2.0 SP15.1 or later. Your 75c needs to have the right firmware as well (at least 1.1 SP33.2 -  that one works for me), once you update ESscribe and connect your device it should prompt you to update firmware. You also MUST enable Replay in your EScribe profile for it to work.

Using replay: once the above has been completed, load this theme and switch to a replay-enabled profile. There should be a "NO REPLAY" button seen on the main screen. This means there aren't yet any puffs to save. So take a few puffs, until you find one you like. Then the button should change to "SAVE," and you can click that to save that latest puff. Once Saved, the button changes to "PLAYING" and you are in Replay mode. Click that if you want to end Replay.

If you are having trouble, check the Replay menu because it gives you more info:

  • Replay Available (if theme/coil supports Replay [read-only])
  • Replay Ready (Replay is ready to be activated [read-only])
  • Replay Active (you can toggle this switch to save your last puff and activate Replay).
  • You also cannot use a plain kanthal coil for Replay. You can use any temp sensing wire, including combinations (e.g. SS wrapped with kanthal).

If anyone has suggestions, improvements, bugs, or anything else, please reach out in the comments below and/or leave a review. New update coming soon!! Thanks!

Here are the available color options. Let me know if you have requests for others:

What's New in Version v2.4   See changelog

Released

Changelog v2.4.1:

  • Fixed ONE WATT versions.. they were not doing one watt increments in replay mode. That's fixed now.

Changelog v2.4:

  • Fixed LED indicator: blue when firing, red while charging, green when full battery (with a pulsing effect)
  • Added option to change date format on main screen (either MM/DD or DD/MM, see Time Config menu)

Changelog v2.3:

  • Fixed main screen:
    • temp changes to voltage when in watt mode
    • small voltage changes to puff count when in watt mode (so voltage isn't displayed twice)
  • other minor tweaks/fixes

Changelog v2.2:

  • Fixed some items on the main screen what weren't positioned perfectly
  • Changed highlight/selection colors slightly for better readability
  • Added new ONE WATT version colors: now available in Blue, Green, Black, and Red

Changelog v2.1.2:

  • Added a ONE WATT version for those who want one-watt increments on the main screen. Wasn't sure if you all also wanted one degree increments on the temp, but that didn't seem useful so I kept that at 5. Note the it's currently only the blue theme that has the one watt version, but if you have requests for other colors, let me know.

Changelog v2.1.1:

  • Added Pride color scheme upon request

Changelog v2.1:

  • Updated battery icons to more easily tell capacity
  • Updated Replay icons so they are colorless (works for any background color), and now it goes > NO REPLAY (not available) > SAVE (ready to save puff) > PLAYING (Replay active)
  • Updated battery icons to show if you are charging or low battery (<25% = red, lightning bolt icon during charging)
  • Display page split into Display Settings and Main Screen Config pages
  • Puff counter is visible on main screen when in wattage mode (this can be hidden in Main Screen Config page)
  • Screens rearranged to be more cohesive and consistent
  • Items moved away from very edge of screen when possible to improve visibility
  • Added Mod Info screen that shows info specific to the device (battery pack volt, atty volt and current, mod/ambient temp)
  • Battery percent no longer changes color (so it fits in with other wallpapers, e.g. red or green)
    • the battery icon changes for charging or low battery
  • Added more colors (see screenshots or download page)

Changelog v2.0:

  • The theme is now called "Clean Colors" and offers many different color options
  • Also made a bunch of visual and usability improvements
  • Just added "Abstract Blue and Green" color option (which is technically v2.1, or more like v2.0.5.. more improvements to come for the actual v2.1)

Changelog v1.9:

  • fixed About screen thanks to @s3r
  • other minor stuff (there's now a Creative Commons license on the credits page.. if you want to use it for commercial use, just reach out to me)

Updated PLAINTEXT version too with the same.

Changelog v1.8:

  • changed text color scheme slightly for readability (no more orange)
  • changed selection highlighting for for better visibility
  • rearranged main screen a bit (battery percent and resistance are now larger and above voltage and current, since they are generally more useful)
  • fixed battery icon not turning red when charge was low
  • adjusted back button AGAIN to make it more visible when selected
  • changed battery icons to switch to red at 25% instead of 20% (keep your batteries healthy long term- charge them before they get too low!)
  • updated toggle switches and sliders so they are move visible when selected
  • adjusted Replay button on main screen to be more visible/easier to use, and I think it just looks better

Same changes for PLAINTEXT version.

Changelog v1.7:

  • updated icons for better visibility (new sweet toggle switches, new battery/menu icons, back buttons, etc.)
    • edited a lot of them down to the pixel level to get rid of anti-aliasing
    • the checkboxes are now slider toggle type switches
  • added second version of the theme with simpler fonts by request (the "plaintext" version - also might be more legible if you are having trouble reading the main theme)
  • tweaked highlighting of selected objects for better visibility
  • adjusted organization of main screen to clean it up a bit (also to have more room to show profile names, though I recommend to keep profile names short- less than 15 characters or so if possible)
  • other minor tweaks and fixes

Changelog v1.6:

  • Changed settings for stats on main page. Now in the Display menu you can select to HIDE them (rather than select to SHOW them as it was previously). This is mainly so the screenshots are more accurate. If the stats are not displaying on the main page (current, voltage, resistance, battery percentage), check the settings in the Display menu.

Changelog v1.5:

  • FINALLY fixed the reset issue. Stats on "Current Stats" screen can be reset, and stats on "Total stats" screen cannot. This is by Evolv's design, it's not up to me. This one's for Ronbon172!!! Thanks for your patience :thumb:

Changelog v1.4:

  • changed wallpaper gradient slightly (let me know if you all have suggestions for improvements here)
  • adjusted Battery info page to remove Power bank settings for devices that don't support it (75c)
  • renamed Puff Stats screen to Total Stats
  • added Current Stats screen. These are the stats that you can reset. So the Total Stats screen will always have total numbers since you bought the device, and CANNOT be reset
  • changed color of selected items to more clearly indicate selection
  • changed back button, and now back button (almost) always takes you back to main screen (I found that more useful, since when I'm done in a sub-menu I generally want to go back to the main screen)
  • added Replay status and Save Puff button to home screen (no menu-diving required for Replay anymore)
  • Main screen shows when replay is available with the check box (enabled for current profile, Replay-compatible coil), then when you have a puff that you can save the the SAVE button appears and you can press that to save puff. CANCEL will turn it off
  • changed Replay screen to show Replay Available (based on coil/profile), Replay Ready (Replay is ready to be activated), and Replay Active (puff saved); still warmth adjustable
  • added atomizer voltage to main screen
  • added options to Display menu if you want a cleaner look on the main screen (can show/hide items from main screen: voltage, current, battery percent, resistance)
  • added option to show/hide date and time on lock screen- see Time menu (since time/date resets every time I change my battery, I find it useless)
  • adjusted New Coil screen so it shows both new resistance and old resistance
  • my logo on the About screen fills up according to room temperature.. acts as sort of a thermometer :) (actually this is not working yet.. I don't know if you can use temperature with the gauges, I'm working on it)
  • Removed option to select battery icon on main screen to take you to battery page, removed option to select resistance on main screen to take you to Coil Info page (let me know if you guys want this rolled back, I didn't find it very useful since those screens can be reached from the menu
  • other minor tweaks and fixes

Changelog v1.3.1:

  • Forgot to include Preheat settings page in main menu. It's now added.

Changelog v1.3:

  • Replay mode added! You must enable replay in your EScribe profile for it to work
  • "Replay ON" message is displayed on main screen when it Replay is on and in use
  • Replay mode screen: status, view/change profile, notification if replay is available, enable replay, adjust warmth
  • Added Battery Info page that supports battery pack info (and live data): up to 4 cell voltages (some are hidden if your mod has less than 4 cells), live battery and atomizer voltage, live battery and atomizer current, power bank mode enable, power bank status
  • Added dedicated Display Settings screen: brightness, stealth
  • Main screan rearranged so the most useful data is on top (easy navigation between temp > power > menu)
  • Changed main menu to display profile, so you can change profile from there instead of having to go through menu
  • I added a status field on the main screen so you can view error messages there
  • Mod info screen (renamed Live Info) now with more data: live ohms, live voltage, live current, live coil temp, etc.
  • Battery percent and icons turn green during charging, and red when charge level is under 20% (normally blue/white)
  • Battery percent size increased on main screan for readability
  • Back buttons made a bit smaller
  • Back button from settings pages now go back to main screen (instead of main menu) (back button from info screens still goes back to info menu)
  • Selecting battery icon on main screen takes you to Battery Info page
  • Selecting resistance reading on main screen takes you to Coil Info page
  • If Replay is on, selecting "Replay On" button on main screen takes you to Replay settings page
  • All icons/gauges changed to blue color scheme
  • Made all menu lists round robin enabled
  • Minor tweaks and fixes

@Ronbon172 thanks, you have actually been a big help and have found a number of bugs for me, so I'm grateful. As for this counter, I'm going to leave it in the theme for now since it might be useful info for some people (I like knowing how many times I've reset the data, but that might just be me). But I'll redesign the page in such a way that it makes it more clear what the reset number represents. Thanks!

Hey all, thanks again for all your support making this theme the best it could be. I'm going to keep working on it (in fact, v1.8 is around the corner), but this theme throws in everything and the kitchen sink. So I wanted to make a second theme that is much simpler. Maybe for your friend who is new to vaping, or your grandma, or anyone that just likes things simple. It's got the same architecture as this one, just pared down (a lot). Here it is if you're interested:

@Erwin Julian thanks man! I use this theme on my own Mirage.. in fact that's why I designed it since I didn't like the stock theme so much. Glad you like it! If you ever have problems or ideas for improvements, let me know here and I'll work on 'em!

edit: it looks like you might be using an old version.. you might want to try 1.9 as its been optimized a bit in terms of visuals.

Yes i used 1.7v but soon 1.9v. Im a newbie but let me give idea to make bigger font of profile name (ex. Watt, titanium, etc). Thx.

@Erwin Julian I would love to make that bigger, and it used to be, but if the profile name is longer than like 10 characters or so, then it won't fit on one line. Try it out. So I had to make the font small enough so it could split into two lines. If the font is bigger, then with a long name like "titanium" it would get all cropped out and wouldn't really be visible. But I did center it vertically in v1.9, so it at least looks a little better even though it's not any bigger.

I might be able to re-arrange the main screen a bit though, we'll see. I'm constantly trying to make it better. I figured wattage/temp/voltage was the most important info since that's what you change most often (or I do anyway), so that's the biggest.

Now that I think about it, I never use wattage mode so I haven't really spend a lot of time on that screen. I'll be sure to look into it for v2.0. For instance as you can see, voltage is displayed twice in wattage mode (in the middle and on the bottom right), which is clearly a waste of space. Anyway, thanks for the tip!

Thanks making and updating this theme so often @niandra3, it surely is my preferred one out of the ones that i've tried. I have adjusted the main screen a bit to fit my preferences more. I hope you apply some of my ideas in the future, so that i don't have to edit it every time you update it :yum:

The version i have edited is 1.7

I have completely removed the menu icon from the main screen. I didn't like it that much when i was using the theme, it felt weird and unbalanced being on the top right, especially when scrolling. Ideally, i would move it and add a dedicated "Info" icon opposite to it and remove the "info" from main menu. There's only so much space on the screen before it starts looking clustered though, so i just removed it.  The battery % took its place, it feels sooo much better next to the battery. I moved the "Main Menu" function to when you highlight the bottom "status" bar and when it's highlighted, it says "settings" there now instead. I was also considering using the battery icon or percentage for accessing "main menu" but i just went with the other choice. Anyway, with the percentage out of the way, i added a resistance lock toggle. I like to have it easily accessible when using TC, it was a big issue having to navigate 2 sub-menus to get to it. I also added exceptions for the main screen when in wattage mode. When in wattage mode, you had Voltage replacing the temp number. Don't know why honestly, i assume you only vape in TC. Ohms now take the place of Temp number when on wattage mode and were the ohms used to be before, it gets replaced with "last puff" seconds. Did some swaps with the field numbers too, put them in order i find more useful and convenient to what i'm used to. The main menu was a massive issue for me, still is. Everything i go to frequently is under "info". That's way to deep buried in 2 sub menus. And when i back, it takes me to the main screen, not the submenu i was before. That's navigating 3 sub-menus to get to the screen i want again. My main issue though is that useful stuff are too deep. Don't have a solution yet for that (i'd probably design a theme based on yours if i had), i can say that it is just too inconvenient. Meanwhile the main menu screen has something useless taking up space like F/C. As a temp solution i just moved the coil info on the main screen, i plan on moving more. Swapping "main menu" and "info" is worlds more convenient for me. i'll probably go for something like that and rename them. Also removed the "profile" from "main menu"

Wow thanks @Tortuga. You'd be surprised how many of those features were in earlier versions. I guess I got too focused on streamlining the main screen without thinking enough about usability. Look at DJLSBlab's theme and that was more or less my starting point. He did have an info button, and in my early versions percent was up top but coming from Android the menu button is usually up on the corner like that so I figured people would find it easier there.

That being said you're definitely right. Version 2.0 is going to be a big update and I'll try to include as many of your suggestions as I can.  Some of it is preference of course, but if I can make it more usable I'll definitely do that.

@Tortuga ah that one I won't  budge on 😊

I use30-60w and I've never needed 33 vs 35. Plus I use temp control so wattage becomes less important. But maybe I can release two versions if others ask for it.

Just giving my 2 cents from my POV, im gonna edit according my prefs anyway ;) Hope i helped. Yeah, i read that you started from djlsb's, but this one is just superior, no point going back now. I understand if this theme was dedicated to the 250c or something, but i usually vape anywhere between 50-70 watts and 1 watt makes a difference to my vape. Couldn't use it at all for MTL too. Anyways, waiting for the 2.0 now :)

@Tortuga no I actually use it equally on my 75 and 250 so I tried to design it to support both equally. Bit since I use Temp control I never need like 12w or something like that.

But I truly do appreciate the input... So many great ideas and fixes have come from this community so I'm really grateful. I'll keep you posted!

Thanks to @s3r for the review. I take it you were able to get the temp control stuff working? And I have actually removed the version number from the About page for that exact reason.. I knew I wouldn't remember to update it. :D

Try the latest version if you haven't already. Some improvements have been made to replay and other stuff.

Ok for anyone following this thread:

I have a new theme called Clean Colors. It is basically the same as this one (v1.9) except that there are some visual improvements and MANY options for color schemes. It's called "Clean Colors" and you can find it here. Please let me know what you think!

I will leave these versions here and available to anyone who prefers them, but going forward I'll only be doing updates on Clean Colors.

The BETA version I made here will be split into a new theme called "Blue Buttons" and released soon. Thanks!!

Using two Mods with current firmware using Linux EScribe 2.0 SP15.1
Paranormal 75c - 1.1 SP33.2 INT
Paranormal 250c - 1.1 SP33.2 INT
Theme - Clean-Color-Blue-2_1

For both devices :-
Lock screen and Main Screen battery indicator does not change for full or empty batteries
There is no indication of charging with empty batteries but USB info shows devices connection and charging

Strange issue with puff count (Only appeared on the 250c after changing atomiser and reuploading theme a few times and then
when hiding all four data values on Main screen it shows the current puff count bottom right of screen
Can't see any options for displaying the puff count. I've used the Theme Designer to correct these problems

Overall I love this theme very nice work

P.S.
Is there a way of changing the Replay back to Play -> Playing (Green) and NOT Play -> Stop (Red as though there is a problem)
I'm not sure if this is a firmware or theme issue

@Atticfireyeah I stopped the battery icons changing color thing, to help support handling more wallpaper options.  Currently only the battery percent number changes color. But I can change that back if it's important to you. I just wasn't sure if anyone used/needed it.

But do you also mean you also can't tell if the battery is full or empty? That's definitely a problem.

Good catch with the puff count on the main screen. That's a new thing I added for wattage mode and forgot to add an option to hide it.

Thanks for the tips, these will all be resolved shorty with a new release.

Edit: and yes I was already planning on changing the replay icon colors. They'll probably be grey and/or related to the color of the wallpaper (partially transparent like menu icon)

Edit2: now that I think about it, I probably won't change the color of the battery icon, but I'll change the icon to make it clear if it is low or charging (with symbols). I want everything to be colorless more or less so different wallpapers can be used and not clash with the text or icons.

@Atticfire I just released version 2.1 which addressed I think all of your concerns. I updated the battery icons so it's clear when it's charging or when the battery is low, the puff count can now be hidden via Main Screen Settings page (note that the puff count only displays in wattage (non-TC) mode, so if you hide voltage you also hide the puff counter). And I changed the Replay icons to NO REPLAY > SAVE > PLAYING as suggested. Great suggestions, thanks!

Charlie,

This is the theme the DNA board has been waiting for, I thought I would have to chose between easy to use or all the available features in an unreadable menu nightmare.

You've bridged that gap to provide an amazingly versatile theme that as the name suggest Clean, Easy to Read while still being informative and highly configurable, best of both worlds.

The combination of Evolv's radical design work, Lostvape's beautiful hardware and your theme has elevated my vaping  to a joyful experience.

Thank you for your contribution to vaping.

I am in temp control using the latest version and my battery gauge is not displaying any percentage (lightning bolt does show on charge). I am using the red fire colour.

Ok I may be wrong as I just relooked at the screenshots and I think it is because my batteries are nearly fully charged and I was expecting a different colour for the gauge.

@BKKK Yeah when the background is red, the battery gauge is almost always red. The fill of the battery gauge normally is the color of the background. It will change to bright red when low batt, and it should have the bolt icon when charging.

Hey, thank you for this really great and beautiful theme!
I have only one request: Please set the steps to 1 or 2. 5 is ok, but I like to see straight numbers (like 40W or 44W) :)

Thank you very much!

Ah it's tough.. everyone wants something different. Most people these days use either high wattage or TC (me included), so I never need like 42w, because 45w is close enough. I think 5w increment is a good medium.. unless you are vaping under 20w, there isn't really a need for smaller increments. And for me, 45 is a "straighter" number than 44 :)

I'd recommend you can edit this very easily in the theme when you download it, before installing it just click Edit > Screens > Main Screen > click on the Watts on the main screen > click Options button on the right > change Step size. The options are 1, 2, 5, or 10.
