  1. What voltages are shown per cell (escribe) for both mods?
  2. Hmm......No problems here - all devices are connecting perfect -
  3. Is your fire button still clicking if you press it? (without cell inserted) Could be a mechanical problem (hanging button) or electronic problem due liquid flooding
  4. If all connections are soldered well (Balancer Port to cells) your DNA Board may be broken - you have already tried to reset to factory defaults - try to reflash the latest service pack - if it won´t help open a helpdesk ticket
  5. @Anthonis - So you where in the lucky position that yours was wrong programmed - but mine was not! Mine was set up correctly to 2 cell mode.....
  6. Got answer from Helpdesk - They will repair the board for me - so i guess that you´ll possibly get the same answer! Maybe they do not exactly know why this happens - but there must be a reason for it ......The device is designed to use the USB Port so things like this should not happen!
  7. I´m not quiet sure - if the triade is fully setup right out of the box......so maybe you´ll have to use escribe to set it up to your personal needs! Remember - to have 100% correct battery meter (for example) you have to upload the correct bat parameters! For some people this fact isn´t what they call "easy to get up"! (sorry i´ll always try to write proper englisch - but i´m german - so not that easy) So - my posting means - It will work out of the box but not 100% perfect for every setup (hope that i hit the goal now!)
  8. The Triade is one of the best mods to buy on the market - the DNA chipset inside of the triade is the best chipset ever - if it is easy to get up and going depends to your technical knowledge - you CAN change a lot of options - you CAN monitor the output on the computer - you CAN use it perfekt for TC and Wattage vaping - you CAN do some interesting things to modify vaping to your personal needs - but if you do not want to use a computer and the escribe software i´m not sure if you´ll be happy with it! You´ll sure be happy with the correct setup .....
  9. We already did the same (german community) - bend the contacts and filled up the gaps in between the contacts with foam rubber - with great results - But to say it clear - best way would be to exchange the shitty contacts! Mine (boxer DNA133 - self made kit) working pretty fine in TC Mode - down to 3 Percent of batt power!
  10. But not that easy to modify...........i wish they´d used better bat contacts ....... did not find any replacements for the contacts.....
  11. @EDMKEV I´m pretty sure that every material that gives enough force will work - i´d recommended foam rubber because it works like a spring - i´m sure you´ll find something similar - for security reasons non conductive ;-)
  12. @EDMKEV Try to attach some foam rubber to the bat contacts - right there where the metal is bended ----- it´s not recommended to bend the contacts more open - putting foam rubber into the bending point gives much more mechanical force
  13. Do you have the same with 18650?
  14. Are you on the latest service Pack? SP25.........
  15. It is nothing more than a workaround .......it would not change the mod into a well designed one - Possibly it will help - and if not? Sorry my2cent - i´ll never use any 26650 in it! Damned sure!
  16. Sorry - they´d made the mistake to sell the mod as it is! Who gives you the guaranty that a second insulator helps? Is it 100% proven that the shorting was due bad isolation on the top of the bat tube? They´ve already changed the battery cap and the threading part - after we gave them the information - then we gave the information of heating up cells - now they change the insulator - what next? Are they selling a mod or a beta product to find out all issues with it? Do they pay us for doing so or do we pay for a product ?! Sorry - yes a mistake but i think there are more parts left that can cause a Problem.........
  17. That´s the fact: "Tell a good company about possible problems -they´ll be listening and be thankful - tell it to a bad company - they´ll mock you!" So easy to see to what category hcigar is belonging ................
  18. @Vapingwithcnote Possibly it will prevent the mod from being destroyed - possibly ! I´m not going to try for them !!!!
  19. I´ll guess - Gearbest - Hotecig - Fasttech - they´ll ask you for a video ...... Mine was ordered from gearbest - i´ll use it as it is until i find a box to transfer the chip to
  20. So please - if they send you the parts, upload pictures of the parts here! I´m that interested........
  21. @SHALE84 There are boxes out there for dual 2x700 usage - but decent looking.......thats the problem - not to say "It´s a box" Let´s look if shapeway has a 3D Printed box for the DNA75C
  22. Hi First of all - great Boards - BUT it seems that there is some kind of problem! Not only for me - it happened that the board is dying after disconnecting from USB (computer) or USB Charger Several user reporting that board does not boot up anymore after charging / updating via USB - first my thoughts where bad USB Chargers are going to kill something - but now (my second board got "killed") i´m having this problem for the second time. Everything was fine until i disconnected my mod from USB - after disconnecting board is not booting anymore - while pressing and holding fire Button i see Evolv - then Check Battery - both cells (2 Cell configuration) are fully loaded - reconnected to escribe cell 1 is reported to have 0 Volt ! All of the wiring is correct - no shorting - no broken wire or bad soldering - same happened to my wismec DNA200 some month ago (board was replaced by evolv service) To make sure - i never use charging via USB - it happens on 2 different computers (Surface Pro3 - MAC Mini) so on this side nothing possible to change (USB Ports are integrated) - i´m sure that board will not boot because there is the problem with the cell voltage measured via the balancer chip?! Any suggestion how to find out why this happens? In fact it seems that i´m not alone with this problem (because i found some similar postings also reporting the same problem) Maybe only a resistor /capacity or diod dying? Already opened Ticket on the Help desk - awaiting answer - but maybe i can fix it by my self? Regards Mikel
  23. Use a different cable /USB Port (if you did not already tried) Recommended to use the USB ports that are directly connected to the Mainboard of the PC (if you are using a desktop pc)
  24. The Problem is - there are so many re labeled cells on the market - you´ll never know what you get until you hold it in your hands - also there are "fake" cells out there! Senseless to discuss why people are doing what they are doing - (Big Clouds) - why buying a car with 500PS when you are living in country with speed limited to 55mph? They do so because they want to do so - because they have the money - because they have ........ because they want...... SO WHY NOT? * Live and let live * - By the way - wrong Forum to discuss about sense of doing things ;-) my2cents Vape on Mikel
