A useless bit of tat but discovered if you ensure device is Not on the Date and Time Screen when you swap out the batteries, (within 30seconds approx) it will power up back on the date and time screen, and retaining the correct date and time.

Was informed on the Paranormal 250C to swap out the batteries sharpish, that Escribes Device Monitor would set the corret time and date for failing to do so. I now have a Therion DNA 75C, swapped out the batteries sharpish and it still forgot. Just swapped out the batteries slowly, first checking where I had filed down those nasty edges that damage battery wraps, smoothly fitted fresh ones and low and behold it remebered the date and time. Well strange, just tried to re-create that and nope it forgot. So I guess the 75C is not as clever as the 250C. On another note even though it Replays does it actually work? or is it just the screen and looks like its going through the motions?

Welcome 🖐️ yea what he said, or you could just post your gripes and groans about mods that failed to live up to expectations, or about how you managed to wangle spares for mods that have absolutely no bearing on the DNA board except for the fact they are connected to it.

Think that was .5. On early Vaporshark DNA 200 devices you could I believe increase the watts by 5 watts at a time. When you own a DNA device because they last so long and are reliable you tend to avoid other mods of oriental persuasion or at least I do. Upon repairing my my Shark 200 I noticed the feature was no longer available and have since been informed I imagined it. I do have to say now that with the Replay feature of the 250C am using smaller than 5watt increments so the point is void and somewhat uselsss. Now you've caught up and surpassed this thread 🤪

Some very usefull information chaps, always have fresh batteries to hand but can't say perform a swift process. In future will do just that and see how it goes. The Device monitor updating the date and time is cool as saves the hassle of manually having to perform it if my rapid battery replacement fails. Thanx a bunch people 😎

Am amazed Evolve even got involved, they are a board manufacturer the mods are cheaply made in china. Anybody who got anything regarding a replacement mod part from Evolve sounds like they were extremely lucky. The hinge on the Paranormal is made of dogsh*te plastic covered with a metal part, typical chinese design, fugly as sin and made of shoddy materials, yea nothing new there. For all the negativaty the Therion was a superior mod to the Paranormal, those things go on and on for years. I own both and realise the Paranormal needs great care taken with ownership to not over stress that hinge when the device is open. When closed the entire bottom is cast zinc alloy with a small alloy peg inserting into the alloy hinge cover.

Purchased one of the new LVE Paranormal DNA250C's in Blue Stabwood Effect, build date 09/12/2019. Have set the clock and date several times but now given up as it never remembers the time or date once the batteries have been removed. Is this a standard feature as not much of a feature if it doesn't work. Will see if can find a theme with no clock or date or grab something else to fit into my existing one created by DJLsb to replace them.

Course I uploaded the settings dude am old and retarded not stoopid, several places. I even tried to edit the fonts but squished them in other places so imagine they are set to their max. I have been known to over do hitting even a vertical and causing a dry hit so am continuing to use replay as a safety feature 😎

I tried it as your sceen help is ideal but still dont move at increments of 5 lol. I suppose it no big deal anymore as not a great hardship. Had a try at Replay with the Crown 4 in watts, which works sweet. But really though I cant tell the difference vaping a vertical coil. It still gets hot, obviously never dry hits until coil gets old. Maybe it will work better towards the end of the coils life. Though the flavour by then is so shit am hoping for that dry hit so can change it lol It's primary purpose is with RDA's and RTA's as these are Horizontal coils which cant keep up with high hitting lung hits on the latter and abviously dripping on the prior.

I never really considered Crown 4 0.40 ohm coils as temp sensing although I suppose being stainless they are. They do fluctuate some so be a bit of trial and error maybe. Defo considered trying them with Replay though. Didnt for one min think that the Theme could antagonise the option 😮 Thanks for the info dude 😎

Did you have to load anything in to make it compatible or just use an exisitng wire setup please?

Thanx Dude 😎ha ha just shows somebody else had a great idea an idea I know was there from before. I've not downloaded the 250C escribe yet, so far only one of the themes. Bit of of a strange one these Lost Vape Paranormal DNA250C's, sold out world wide. Lost Vape informed me they would bring something out again but better. Now all of a sudden a batch of Stab Wood models has appeared on the scene but only select vendors are stocking them. Lost Vape are a British designer using the chinese to manufacture the mods, not a great deal of profit on a device, with the board costing around $80 obviously discounted for bulk purchase. £104 UK cost delivered, though some vendors are trying for £149.99.

Pity I never saw this post until now, Overlander Batteries in the UK did sell a 900mah 11.1volt 35C Lipo specificaly for use in the DNA200, they had several in stock but have since just prior to Christmas 2019 sold out. You could chase them up though. Also as long as you have the specs ie 900mah 11.1volt 30/35C and the size of the battery most RC hobby shops will be able to source one for you 😎 Going by the specs this should be your battery, if the dimensions are correct you might only need a connector change. Its also a fullymax battery just like the original. I bought one and have it running in my VShark Dna200. I changed the connectors for bullet ones though. Also had to remove the clear sleeve, then remove the extra packing on the ends of the battery and re sleeve the battery with heat shrink, you can pick up the stuff from RC hobby shops. I cleaned out all traces of escibe, also from users and from the registry but alas even the early version only gave minus than 1 watt or 1 watt. Maybe I imagined it, maybe it was an early bug they fixed. personally I think its a great idea for power users who like to scroll in increments of plus 5 watts rather than use profiles.

I found that Shark finish always survived for me probably due to always using "shark skins", currently have 12 of them. When the rDNA60 came out it used the the rdna40 box, vaporshark claimed it used the billet construction from the Shark 200 but that was a lie and complete bullshit as was the same zinc alloy of the rDNA40 weight was identical to the 40. That aside the rDNA40 skins were sheap as chips being sold off, so grabbed lots for pannies as fit the rDNA60 perfectly as same box. My Shark Dna 200 is working fine, I fractured the long extender to the screen so no longer have a screen but it works fine as have escribe. I tried an earlier version already 1.2 to no avail. Do you have a link to that version 1.0.34 my current PC will do just fine, if its doable I will do it or at the very least have a go. I sent Brandon a message though seein as he's not been on the forum since 2018 he might not reply. I mentioned him hinting at the dna200 back when we were all into temp sensing and wanting more power/battery life and did He remember the 5.0 watts increase increment option. Am sure if I dug back far enough Mike Vapes has a video mentioning it though am not hard pressed or desperate to prove it.

Zip high Speed Charging, 2amp charging as long as you had a 2amp outlet. You cant see a proprietary board fitted to my shark 200 so must have just been a chip. I have never seen the Shark pull 2amps about 1.4, on the PC via escribe it only pulls half an amp . One thing this dummy did discover is when I used a wall outlet sometime my device would say 98%, assumed it had stopped charging and depleted. In fact the board pulls off 3% and tops it back up, pulls it off and tops it back up. Clever stuff 😎

I had a couple Kick 2's, I also know Evolve used to make wheelchair motors, that Brandon got them into the vape scene with the Darwin. I was involved in the so called early days thrashing out the temp sensing. though was mostly on facebook groups from what I remember. The DNA/Yihi wars and the introduction of the atty lock feature lol The batch of corrupted small screen boards. The whole it was hard to find the option to change the increments argument that is often posted on the net. Have owned a lot of their boards but only just now about to aquire a 250C. I was one of the first to aquire a VShark DNA200 in the UK via Vaporshark Miami on pre-order. Not many knew they shipped as a gift so as to not incur import duty. First thing I looked for once got this old Shark 200 running again. Its possible unless it was firmware updated it still had it but was too busy dealing with a non functioning balance charger. I've since damaged the extention cable so no longer have a working screen on the Shark 200. My board is a first edition with the screen ziff connector exiting out the right side edge of the board. Aquired a used Therion and tried to apply it to that is when i discovered it no longer existed.

Everything in the vape scene is a long time when really its not very long at all, 2015 my VShark 200 was created, escibe was also created to compliment it. I clearly remember having 5 watt increments and personally it suited me just fine. I was also involved with the rDNA40 from small screen to big screen and the beginings of temp control and temperature sensing, just ask Brandon if you dont believe me as hinted to me about a bigger device coming out back in the rdna 40 day ha ha You were right there in the early days, early days june 2015 its hardly a long time ago. That Vapecig box like the manufacturer is one cheap as chips box. The Evolve board on the other hand is superb. The supplied Lipo probably a knocked off copy. You people dont realise that most chinese companies were cloners. It wasnt until Evolve sold boards to these cloners that then allowed these skanky chinese vendors to be become legit. Grow some brain matter and buy a decent Lipo. You own a modders board in a skanky cheap arsed box. You people seem to have trust in chinese vendors. Their boards might be superior (Evolve) but the surrounding product obviously is not. How many top chinese vendors have access to a forum/software that auto updates your device. Yihi the top chinese vendor has a dire update device system in place, and they are among the best coming from china. I have owned DNA30, multiple DNA40's from small screen to big screen RDNA40, RDNA 60, RDNA75, DNA200, DNA167/250 DNA250C. My VShark DNA200 has gone thru 3 lipos, lately I fractured the screen extention cable. Becasue I have access to Escribe am still able to to set my mod to my required watts, lock the screen and use the device screenless. You can buy used several year old Lost Vape devices that still hold their value due to having Evolve boards that work and work and work. When your year old chinese mod is hitting like piss an Evolve board will still continue to hit like a train year in year out! Dont slag Evolve for giving us some of the best vaping tech in the world, slag the crap that surrounds their superb boards.

Its been a while, if you no longer need that long cable to the screen know of a good home for it, accidently fractured mine, evolve says its with vaposrshark and vaporshark just ignore a long time customer who spent tons of money with them.

I always find cell one dies on my lipos, own a VShark DNA200 am currently on my third lipo. Get about 14months out of them before they die. Am sure using Zip 2amp charging shortens their lifespan, using a PC at half an amp via Escribe would make them last longer but takes so long to charge. 1hr 40mins compared to 8hours plus Anyway my last lipo although at its resting voltage of around 3.80 when connected I found cell one to be 3.80 and the other cells two and three were at 3.82. Upon charging two and three made it to 4.20 but alas cell one only made it to 4.13. Took a further 9 hours to recover it back to 4.20. Once you do recover a new battery cell in a lipo it acts like nothing ever happened. I will add my silicone wired balance cable died prior to the above scenario. By all accounts all the cells were not happy so had the battery tested independantly at a hobby shop. The guy in the shop reckoned the battery was good. Though by the time, a few weeks later when I got it all up and running ( using a stiff non silicone wired new balance cable) I then had the above scenario. The balance cables can fail. Lipos not regularly maintained even from new can also die if stored too long. Am guessing here that cell one dies becasue its the first cell as they are wired in series.

What happened to the 5 watt incremental option. 1 watt at at a time is pants, .5 why would you! The options in escribe are pointless being there as really there is no option unless we actually get decent options. First thing I noticed when got my VShark DNA200 back up and working was the no 5 watts option.
