  1. jurdanas > those are very nice mods, if you don't mind me asking? are you left handed?
  2. Stuartro;;;Am on mobile so cant find the thread and copy the link but a chap on hear had that issue last week and put a new switch in, so there is a thread somewhere about a weekold.. update found it, its in report a bug, titeld ""fire button will start davise but wont fire"""
  3. Above,, dont worry its one moor vote, he may be on mobile,, i do it myselfe:: reply to topics and by the time ive reviewed it and posted it, the conversation has moved four tkmes over..
  4. (Home mods) Ive been using full number on mine too, they where at zero as default, three came out at 0.004 one at 0.005 so set them at that.
  5. All the best to yah, hope you get it sorted real quick..
  6. Been keeping out of it for the past 24 hours, but now understand what theym on about, it would be cool to have dm open, say quater screen in eg top right and be able to make adjustments in main program, allready being able to sit it there but do nothing is barmy, collapsing it down to the bottom tool bar on windows desktop and still not being able to use the main program is even barmier.. i dont honestly think the op is nit picking, this is the 21st century, to be infront you have to be in front, theres a utube vid somewhere, saying they can only copy they can't overtake, is this program side not somthing that could be overtaken on..
  7. Add to that the fact that the Reuleaux RX200 has Mac OS X support for upgrading firmware. While I can appreciate that software takes time to create and needs to be carefully tested (I've spent 20+ years in software development), I am growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of any new releases addressing the requests / concerns raised by users on this forum. Previous "early releases" were released at an interval of roughly one per month, but it has now been 3 months since the last "early" release. Any word from Evolv on when we might see a new release will be much appreciated (though I understand, is probably unlikely).[/QUOTE] and Quote:Originally Posted by stuartro I'd prefer *any* update... just some sign of life. Why? Has your board suddenly stopped working because the firmware is 3 months old? Is your juice tasting bland because Escribe hasn't got a new GUI lately? Crazy thing is I must be really lucky because both my boards are working great running last years software and my juice still tastes awesome. Every morning you wake up something new in the ecig and vaping has come out, I doesn't mean its any good,, Evolv Set Bench Marks
  8. that was a close shave, I completely burned a board out like that, D.W.B issues nasty bossiness.
  9. if it ain't bust don't fix it, it works, its the best, now we'r just getting picky, Quote:-Brandon has implied the next release will be significant. No hurry as I am not in need of escrib regularly and have very little on my firmware wish list. they may be individually tailoring update downloads to anyone on hear who have slagged them off, so when they take a vape they get a pisser, lol
  10. A lot of people are saying they would like to be adjusting temp on mod by the tenth for finer tuning, i think it would also be good to include pre-heat boost, because of stuff..... like my computer doesnt fit in my pocket..
  11. I recoiled a twin build last night and all four screws where so loose it was only the bends in the leads holding them in place. On anouther occasion i was twisting some very thin ni200 like 32 awg on a single coil kayfun, because i couldnt find anouther use for it after the claptons i built with it were laughable, they wouldnt perform propely, or as i had hoped, its all trail and error till ya get a coil wrap ya comphy with, for a week or so, then ya try anouther design, i dont blame the board every time i wrap a crap coil design, anyway they backed out after one tank load and where sitting under upgraded deck screws with 1.6 mm washers. Didnt short or loos tc though, lol as far as fault finding goes ya gotta build a straight coil, lmao,,
  12. All the best. There is another thread suggesting tikets into evolv are a little slow at the moment, due to moving factories..
  13. I would Try both volcano and start a ticket with evolv and send your pic, still wondering if it will fire up if you clamp that component, back on, was told what it was but forgot.
  14. If your not happy about soldering it back on yourselfe , obviously your gonna have to think who local may have a soldering iron, like an auto electrician, tv repair, computer, repair, evt, have you tried holding it on with ya thumb to see if it fires up.. what a strange thing to pop off.. freaky.. lol
  15. Are those solder tabs in the centre that look like initials E T. or just the tab on each end
  16. I cant say im taken by it, but i cant prove that what i purchased was what was on the spool, best advice i would give is when buying wire , buy off a reputable bonefid supplyer and stick with them.. cheap wire will mean cheap wire..
  17. Yeh, sounds like youve got a dodgy wire, you may allso input your mod resistance because your so low----- your coil ohm are so low--- if you havent allready,, ranting and raving isnt going to help now is it 73...
  18. Think you got the wrong end of the stick ,trying to rule out your coil builds by putting somthing realy simple on there to see if that fails, You havent said what the condemed is or wether youve had the back off and checked for loose wires and connections, ,, my experiance is anyone who thinks theyve got software failur befor checking for mechanical is a nit wit..
  19. What atomisers,,,?? What mod??? Also puzzeled how do you identifie a hot spot on ni200,,, Keep it simple. One good atty with a single center pin from build deck to female 510 centre in the mod, to eliminate shorts, a single coil ,, in the tens or teens if you can say (0.09/0.12ohm) if its still playing up, you gotta look for solid connections at your 510 in mod and fire wires.
  20. ''oh'' no worries,, nice to have some leads for materials though; so thanx, love to have something on the bench coming together,,,
  21. thanx our bloke, your a star,, I got fobbed off earlier,
  22. I couldnt get to gripps with it, i thought it may be down to me using the wire wizzard,, i tried NIFe30 the other day and inputted the csv and it works an absolute doddle, am realy impressed, ive condemed the spool of ss, and will try a reputable supply nexg time, like my NIfe30 vendor...
  23. each to their own ect, ok if your five, or a nurse holding it for an invalid, then theres a visual indication of fireing, have also used simular non iluminated and had them fail in six months. Also a pain to change out once fitted to small mods..
  24. Oh yeh sorry forgot mid summer,, Like the quickening..
