  1. Does the "Pack voltage" change depending on where you plug in the battery?
  2. Did you place that 1 battery in each position in the battery sled? You show 2.81 volts on battery 2 so place the battery in battery 1's slot and see what you get.
  3. Yep, understand but what if the voltage from only 1 battery is actually getting to the inputs of the DNA board? Have you contacted Lost Vape or your vendor? Please post what you find out so others may benefit from the determination and resolve. THX
  4. @olegasan..... what is the voltage at the + and - input at the DNA board when you check it with a meter? Device Monitor shows it just above 5 volts. What is the voltage coming out of the battery sled measured with a meter? You are getting a check battery message when you hold the fire button...
  5. Are you using contact or spaces coils? any loose connections at the posts or any hot spots?
  6. Sounds like the parallel battery sled is only giving power from one battery. When you tried to power the device with one battery did you try this one battery in each battery slots and see if it would fire??
  7. That's within reason so we can rule that out...
  8. If still in warranty contact the vendor..... it could be a loose ground or other internal things. Opening up the device may void a warranty if you have one.... What is the Mod Resistance set at in EScribe in the Mod tab?
  9. hum.... you might fill out a ticket and explain the issue and let Evolv guide you.... yours ran a week after update then quit..... may be hardware issue?? @mustave posted earlier about 1_2_SP5 and said this " Beginning to suspect I have a hardware issue and the firmware upgrade was sort of coincidental. But I'm now in email communication with Evolv and we shall see".
  10. Did you restore to defaults that were the Evolv basic defaults or did you restore the original Lost Vapes .ecig file? Here is a link that somebody posted with the Lost Vapes Therion 166 .ecig file.... /topic/65680-topic/?do=findComment&comment=888776
  11. I don't think it will auto-update your firmware but will place a notification in EScribe that there is an update available. Here is a link to an early tutorial that is helpful. A lot has been updated since this video but you can get a lot of "how to use EScribe" from it if you want to view it. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/escribe/guide/story.html Here is a users manual that is a bit dated also and a lot has changed but may be helpful: https://downloads.evolvapor.com/escribe/EScribeManual.pdf
  12. Your SP5 firmware is almost the latest SP so I would use it for now and go ahead and do your custom screens. You are concerned that SP5a on the device may cause you issues so why not use the device for a while first. The SP5a pack addresses the following of which you may not have issues with anyway: On the device side: - DNA 200 and DNA 250 no longer lose the battery meter on startup sometimes. - Calibration values have been improved slightly for newer DNA 200s and DNA 250s. (More accurate USB Voltage, mainly.) - Temperature Protected and other messages now show the correct number of flashes again. - Some VaporShark DNA 200s would reset charging when above 0.8A with 1.2 SP3 and 1.2 SP4. They now charge at full speed.
  13. Note that the current recommended version of EScribe is shown in post #1 of this thread linked below. You don't have the latest recommended EScribe. Installing the latest recommended version of EScribe doesn't update the firmware (service pack) on the device until you want to update the firmware. /topic/66731-topic/?do=findComment&comment=900119 If you just connect the device to your EScribe and then start EScribe it should not change anything on the device. You can download the .ecig file to your computer from there.
  14. It may be beneficial to first save your .ecig file off the new device to your computer. That way if you should run into a situation you can always load the original .ecig file back on the device. You might also start by posting what version of EScribe you are running. You might also run Device Monitor with the device connected and post what firmware version is currently on the device. This info is at the lower right corner of the Device Monitor screen. This info will help to determine whether to update further and which one you want to use, if any.... Others with the same device will hopefully chime in as you post.....
  15. I have no diagram but the pdf shows pin numbers on the DNA board (pin numbers 11 thru 15) and tells you what pin on the charger it connects to. The pins are marked on the charge board. You might just draw your own diagram. Someone else here may have a diagram...
  16. What was meant is that it cost to ship from Greece to the USA and it cost to ship it from USA back to Greece thus two shipping costs will be paid in total. From my experience some companies pay shipping both ways and others pay to ship it back after customer pays shipping to the company to get warranty work done. Yet other companies (fewer in number) require the customer to pay shipping both ways. From my experience the majority of my dealings is that I paid the shipping to the company and they paid to ship it back to me and fewer companies have paid the total shipping cost (both ways) for me. Companies have set their shipping policy and work with the customer directly, indirectly, or not at all depending on the company. Bottom line is that shipping policies are all-over-the-map....
  17. So you have a DNA60 board and the new charge/data board from Evolv? Compare this picture to your boards. DNA60 data sheet link also given here so you can see the wiring pin out for the DNA60 board (I think page 11) of the data sheet. Data sheet: https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna60.pdf Photo of boards:
  18. Understand your position. Displays are inexpensive and easy to replace (if that is the problem) if one has the ability but what about voiding the warranty? A one year warranty is very good protection against any unforeseen future issues. As they say.....DECISIONS.....DECISIONS.... Shipping costs are charged both ways (to and from Greece).
  19. Yep, shipping is not cheap...... from what I've read today on their web site it seems they are good folks... They also say this: About UsThanks for choosing Mad Modder. At Mad Modder I custom build each and every mod personally. I take customer service and satisfaction very seriously. I have been supplying the world with box mods since 2012. I take pride in every mod I build. Check out my Facebook group Mad Modder. Always feel free to PM me or send me a message at >>>>>acman8675@gmail.com
  20. hum..... any suggestion except doing a soft or hard reboot (save .ecig file first) would involve opening up the device (voiding the warranty). The issue could be as easy as replacing the display, making sure the ribbon connector is properly engaged, checking the ribbon cable for damage by being to close to the fire button, and etc. It might be good to contact MAD Modder first and explain the issue. They may guide you a bit and/or ask you send the device to them for warranty. I just read their warranty and got their contact link. Here is their warranty info and contact link: WarrantyAll mods have a one year warranty on the Dna boards and lifetime on the Lipo battery, switch and 510. Lipo warranty is pending approval by Maxamps who is the battery manufacture and has certain guidelines on their lifetime warranty they provide me on the batteries,. ReturnsAs each mod is custom built the returns of such items are limited to adjustment or repair of any item.. http://www.madmodderstudios.com/contact.html
  21. Since you have fully charged batteries it may be that there is a connectivity issue within the battery sled or you may now have some faulty wiring at the sled (such as a wire that has come loose). Also a loose ground can cause strange things to occur. If still in warranty you might contact the vendor first and then, if needed, you can start a ticket at Evolv explaining the issue. They will instruct you from there and they may have you send them just the Evolv board to be checked, but they make that decision. Just my thoughts from the info you provided. 22. Oh.... so these screen holders are in manufactured mods or are they the aftermarket DIY screen holders? Which ones don't fit..... may be good info to post.... thx
  23. @MickVap..... I deleted your duplicate post since you are getting replies here.. No reason to look in two areas for your answers... Ths video is not much help but shows the internals... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c44FOwKZ0w
