Lost Vapes Efusion 200W mod.

I just got an above mentioned mod, and when I first connected it it displayed a charging battery. That soon disappeared (the little flash indicating that the battery is charging) and now I just get an empty battery. Escribe is telling me that it is indeed charging, but at a very low power. 2 cells (1 & 3) are at 2.41 V while cell 2 is at 0.30 V. It is still connected, but it keeps trying to fire by itself. Or at least it's blinking "check atomizer" and "locked at something something". Is this normal? And if not, what can I do?

I assume you did upgrade the firmware to the latest release and set the battery capacity to (3 cell LiPo and) 14.43 Wh?

I guess you can try a USB recovery charge (Device Monitor -> Diagnostics -> Advanced -> USB recovery charge)?

Aye, I've done that. When I tried the USB recovery charge it just said "0 recovery charges has been performed".

OK. I haven't done the recovery (and don't want to since I do not have a problem) so I do not know how it is suppose to behave. I only know it can be used to recover a deeply discharged pack.
I hope for you someone else has more tips otherwise it probably is a warranty case.

Edit: Oh, I don't think it will solve your problem but maybe you can try recovery with another USB cable to rule the cable out?

Tried another cable, no difference. I've sent a ticket to Evolve for help, since this is the second mod I've gotten with the same problem. Hopefully they'll be able to help me. Thanks for your help, Bobby.

Gosh, I hate to say it, but that pack is almost certainly toast. In fact, if one cell is really 0.3v, I wouldn't attempt to charge it.

I would plug in another pack and test.  Likely a bad pack and an easy fix.

I had the same problem, cells were reading around 1.3 v After usb recovery it fixed it up, seems to be fine now.

Looks like I'm having the same problems.  I'm trying to perform a recovery charge, but escribe is saying that it failed to get the serial number.  Am I doing something wrong?

I've had two of these, neither has a decent battery in it. the first one went back, I got another, and this second one is also toast - one cell showing zero charge at all. hunting about for a replacement battery. So far, not impressed at all.

First things first, if you have a multimeter check the voltages of each cell.

Just got this device and I wanted to make sure I have the settings correct in the software. I have the watt hours adjusted per the user manual, however, does it need to be set for a lithium polymer battery?
