  1. I had the same problem, cells were reading around 1.3 v After usb recovery it fixed it up, seems to be fine now.
  2. I know copper or brass would be best but why not use a 7x0.5mm tap?
  3. Contact Roger cs@opusvapor.com Top bloke to deal with =)
  4. That's the 1590B dimensions you have stated. 1590G is 96mm x 46mm x 21mm
  5. Looks like an alligator clip with insulation holding the board
  6. Yes one lead at a time so you don't short the battery =)
  7. Thanks mate, I submitted a ticket yesterday and got a reply straight away =) Evolv are awesome!! I mainly posted this to see if anyone had some input on why this could've happened
  8. Hey there Did my first dna200 build today all was good connected to escribe fine. Started changing some settings like battery WH etc and was about to do a case analyser. Screen went dead and i lost connection to escribe. Message came up on my pc, usb device exceeded power limit, power surge on usb hub. Fuse looks intact but i can see where something has shorted on the board
  9. Roger's email to me said he needs the unit for a couple of weeks because he's waiting on evolv to get back to him with a reason and solution. He didn't want to just replace the chip and send it back without knowing why it's happening. I'm just glad it's getting fixed in the long run.
  10. Wow $6,I wish, it cost me $38 to send mine back from Australia plus it's 2 weeks transit time each way. I really hope opus sort this out, I won't be sending it back a second time. It'll be an expensive paper weight..
  11. I don't think he's selling them, he wants to swap with other people's boxes that are having problems, too see if it's the enclosure or the way it's been put together rather than the chip that is causing problems.[/QUOTE] I realise that =) was just goofing around my opus200 was just sent back for repair and I'm kind of desperate to get my hands back on a dna200 mod
  12. I will purchase a beta unit John =)
  13. Yeah the Aussie dollar was good back then =) Thanks John I'll send you a pm
  14. It will be interesting to see what has caused the fuse to blow and whether it happens again. Hopefully not, because shipping for me (Australia) is quite expensive. This mod now owes me $395AUD and more if I have to pay for return shipping. I guess it's part and parcel of being an early bird, I just wish I had another dna200 device to play with lol
