Have you used the Device Monitor to see what is happening with the cell voltages, power output, resistance, etc. when you press the fire button?

When i press power button, the escribe shows variations in the graph but the device does not gives power to atomizer rather a message "check atomizer" displays.

What kind/brand of mod are we talking about here?  Things to check, besides what's already been mentioned regarding the screen ribbon cable.  Check the 510 connector on the mod, could be a problem there.  Check the wiring from the board to the 510.  If you can post a screen capture of eScribe while attempting to fire the device, that might help as well.

But would a screen cable short also cause a check atomizer error?

IDK but I wouldn't rule it out, but it is the only cause of the screen dimming when firing I can remember.

Ziaibradv: While there talking amongst their selves, if you take the back off, disconnect your battery first what evere you do or you will have anouther blown fuse issue. look for any liquid on your board, and see if you can notice anything wrong with your screen ribbon....i know you can do it son..
