1. hello, i have dna200 boards.... i want to make a (DIY) mod with a single 18650 battery but dna200 board cant support single 18650.....is there any way, software upgrade etc or any hardware trick to run dna200 board with single 18650 battery (reduction of power (wattage) is no issue) regards
2. You are welcome, just glad you got you mod working again.
Hello how r u? i have installed the automotive fuse it was working good but suddenly my mod stopped working. i have checked the automotive fuse (which is not blown), OLED, battery (working good with other mod) and the board but i remained unable to understand the problem. Can i send my board for warranty?
3. I planed to use 2* 26650 battries with DNA200 Chip, is it ok. Will the power goes to 200 watts with this setup?
4. can i continue using the same until the new lipo received or stop using the mod. is it safe?
5. I am using a VT200. I have open the my mod and found that lipo pack has become fat. Battery is still charging but i think battery time have been reduced. is it dangerous. what should i do?
6. When i press power button, the escribe shows variations in the graph but the device does not gives power to atomizer rather a message "check atomizer" displays.
7. Maybe there is some issue with screen connections but the board is also not giving power to the atomizer.....on pressing the power button "Check Atomizer" is showing on the dim screen.
8. Suddenly the screen on my dna200 become very dim...... when i press the fire button, the message displays "check atomiser". i have checked and attached it with escribe, there is no issue with battery. I cant understand what is issue. i have attached other atomizers but the same message displayed.....and the screen remained very dim.
9. my 2 cells are over 2 volts but 3rd one has fallen below 1 volt. In this situation how do i recover charging?
10. I have done the same......and Vaping .........Thank You Verry Much for cooperation.
11. I got performed Escribe USB Recovery Charging....it worked and now the voltages of 3 lipo battery cells are above 3 volts, as well as, the voltages are in-line with each other. Because of your expert advice, i have succeeded to make my mod in working position, without sending the same to Evolv for warranty. Thank You Very Much One thing i want to confirm that whether (with this 25 Amp automotive fuse) my mod will work as worked with the on-board fuse. Is it safe?
Thanks

13. Maybe the battery is too much low.... is there any other way to charge the battery..... i have a Nitecore single 8650 charger can i charge my lipo pack with it? It is also said that if the battery is too much low it could be dangerous.
14. Thanks a lot...... Now i am going to install the fuse with a hope that the board will work as work with the SMT fuse. Thanks again
I have short the fuse points and install an 25amp automotive fuse according to the diagram. Oled become on but when i attached the tank/atomizer and press the power button an error is displaying i.e, "Check Battery". When i plugged the charger, it does not charge the battery. (1) wiring (2) board turned on with the battery (1) Escribe Battery Status (2) Board plugged with charger but not charging the battery. now i cant understand what is the problem? Please Guide.

18. Please tell me if you are confident with the installation of automotive fuse, or not? because i have satisfied with your reply to this post. I prefers to install an automotive fuse because it (fuse blow) has been happen to my second device. I live in Pakistan and it takes more than 2 months for shipping and return from Evolv, due to the reason i am searching an alternate for changing the fuse. I have tried to buy the original fuse from: http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=3413.0332.22virtualkey69300000virtualkey693-3413.0332.22 ebay and other vendors but they do not ship to Pakistan, therefore, i am searching for a good and authentic alternate. if there is someone who already have tried it and satisfied with its working, his opinion / experience would be very helpful for me as well as for others.
It will work to fix the fuse, but if there is another problem that caused the original fuse to blow it will not fix that. Best to go be John and Jame's posts in this thread /topic/67186-topic/
John Posted in the above-said thread referred by you as under: " If you are feeling feisty, you could short across the fuse on the board with a large wire and install a mini 25 amp automotive fuse in line with the battery if you have space in your device." What i understand, the Jhon's suggestion is absolutely according to the "wiring diagram" referred by you. Am i right?

21. Thank You for referring this diagram. It would be very useful for the DIY folk specially. I believe that there is no (+) Positive & (-) Negative of the fuse. I am going to install this......... i will confirm if it works or not. Thank You Again
22. Thanks for the reply......you may reply to this when u will be free. I have read and view the DNA200 data sheet portion relevant to "Fuse" is reproduced as under: Fuse Because of the energy and power stored in the battery, the DNA 200 includes an onboard 25 amp SMT fuse. The fuse is located on the underside of the PCB near the B+ battery terminal, and is labelled “Fuse” In normal operation the fuse should never blow. However, in the event of an error or short circuit on the board, the fuse will protect the battery. Should it need to be replaced, the fuse is manufactured by Schurter , part number 3413.0332.22 Replacement is accomplished by de-soldering the blown fuse from the board and soldering on a new fuse. No i dont know, i even dont know what are the general reasons of blowing the fuse. I have found a automotive fuse with an online vendor, which is described as: Features: Fuse Current Rating: 25A Voltage Rating DC:32V Picture: Will it work ???????????????
there's a few people here in the forum that have used automotive blade fuses. they do work. just make sure it's no more than 25 amp rating. but your best bet, if your board is under warranty, have evolv replace the fuse for you.
Can you refer any picture / diagram of the wiring??
