Goodmorning everybody and i apologize forma my English. In my hcigar vti133 escribe manifacturing setting in a battery tipe setting appears only li.po or li.fe.po4 or power supply. I use the 18650 li.ion Sony vc5. It's normale? Thank's in advance for your reply.

Thank's Retird! But isn't a IMR battery? I didn' t understand the unbalanced consumption of battery, after a few minute of use the 1 cell is 4,2 v 3,9 v is the 2nd cell. It s normale?

Hi Wayneo, no wasn t new, but they are 30 days old. During not last long in this box and i cannot recharge by USB....

Why can't you recharge by USB? Does it show charging symbol on the battery bar? Do you have a meter to check your battery voltages externally? Maybe if you have an external battery charger, that displays battery voltage.

Thank BillW50.charger symbol disappear in a few minutes. I recharge with a external battery that show the right voltage max 4,2 when the box display show battery week the recharger says 3,8v

Yes that isn't good. You could try:

1. Soft reset
2. Hard reset
3. Reflash the firmware
4. If e-liquid leaked inside it needs to be cleaned

I can't think of anything else offhand. Otherwise it needs to be returned to the store or open a ticket with Evolv.

It sounds like one of your batteries is fully charged and the other is not.

If one cell is at 4.2V and the other is at 3.8V, the DNA will need to rebalance the cells. This is very slow. It can only charge quickly if the cells are nearly at the same state of charge.

Let it try and charge for about 24 hours, and see if the cells become closer. Once the cells are balanced you should be fine.

James thinks the cells are unbalanced. Although you say your external battery charger says both batteries are at 4.2v. Well you could try swapping the two batteries around. If cell one still reads 4.2v and cell two still reads 3.9v, then I bet both batteries are at the same voltage. I hear many reports about e-liquid getting on the board especially at the bottom part that reads the cell voltages (normally known as the balance connector) can cause the cell voltages to be read inaccurately.

Ethyl alcohol works well to clean boards. Although near 100% (200 proof) might be hard to get. Clear vodka is usually 40% (80 proof) with 60% water and many have said this works well too. If you need more options to clean, just ask.

Many thank BillW50. i have disassembled the boxing and i have tried clean the possible. inside there was of the liquid that i have clean with alcohol ethylc. vodka bourbon whiskey them i prefer in other way. :- )hour feel and we see if works. thank you for l help.
