Change it, a friend of mine posted this AM that it should be 14.43 Wh, I don't know where he got that, but I would trust him. link

Change to 14.43wh. If you go to the battery section of escribe it has a watt hour calculator. I typed in 1300mah 11.1v and it calculated to 14.43wh. So it appears as if Hcigar forgot to set it from the factory.

If it is not set correctly, the device will still work, but your battery meter will be inaccurate.

Hcigar actually put a statement on Facebook yesterday advising owners of the vt200 to change the setting in Escribe from 9 to 14.43 as well.

not so sure the battery capacity is all they claim!
I ran the battery analyser on a vt 200 and the result was 11.09Wh

when i was running the battery at 14.43 i was getting "weak battery " at 20%

now at 11.09 with the same coil and setup it vapes all the way down to 0% battery and  then 4-5 puffs after that it displays weak battery.

so not too happy it only has 11.09 Wh but i do now have an accurate battery meter!

if you want to try my battery csv from the analyser it is below:-


i changed it to a .txt file to upload but if you change it to or save it as a .csv it will work

I watched one of p busardos videos videos and he seems to think that the battery wasn't really a 1300mah. More like a 1000 I think he said. I was about to get one till I watched that video so I went with the efusion.

I bought a vt200 battery to replace a knackered lipo in a lavabox, i had pretty similar results mine analysed at 11.23Wh.

My VT200 came in about the same. Would be interested if Efusion actually squeezed a 1300 into that box, looks small in the photos. Overall I'm satisfied with the Hcigar, but still kind of pissed that my decision to buy was predicated on a bald faced lie.

11.73 the second time around (2 months later)

battery meter is as close as i can it. give or take .15 - .25 mwh till 'weak battery'

did you get the vt200 to fit into your lavabox?? if so is it worth upgrading to it??

It fits ok without any messing. You just push it down towards the wiring and it just clips under the edge of the 510 housing.

As to whether it is worth it or not that's debatable given that it is not a true 1300mAh i only did it because the original was goosed and it was a straightforward replacement.

so what are the proper Escribe settings for this and where do i enter them i need help urgently i cant use my mod it wont charge at all?

You only need battery type set to Lipo 3 cell, the other settings are just to give the battery gauge better info to estimate the reaming %.

I replied about charging in another thread.  To get to the battery settings you need to go to EScribe - Options - User Interface and choose Advanced or Manufacture to enable the Mod tab.
