  1. You are right there is. I was sure when i first looked there wasn't.
  2. Pity there is not a small screen option as it would make a good upgrade for the xvostick.
  3. Any idea when the firmware for the 200 will be released?
  4. I am running escribe 1.0.56 and firmware 25-04-2016 on the wismec and lavabox.
  5. It fits ok without any messing. You just push it down towards the wiring and it just clips under the edge of the 510 housing. As to whether it is worth it or not that's debatable given that it is not a true 1300mAh i only did it because the original was goosed and it was a straightforward replacement. 6. I bought a vt200 battery to replace a knackered lipo in a lavabox, i had pretty similar results mine analysed at 11.23Wh.
  7. Well the replacement board arrived today and it is fitted and working as it should so far. One slight hiccup was that i sent the faulty one back with the xt30 connector still soldered to it and the replacement came without one. Because i was eager to test it i have soldered the battery to the board while i wait for another xt30 to arrive.
  8. It is now on its way back to evolve.
  9. Anyone know when Evolv will be responding to tickets again?
  10. You could be right, if i had a spare chip i could replace it and see but i have not got one so its looking like a rma for now.
  11. Yes i realised when i saw the picture on the dna 200 home page. If you click on the second picture i posted on page 1 of this thread you can see the gap in the middle where the 2 pins are missing.
  12. The 2 middle pins on the bottom right side of the chip are either missing or tucked under the chip. Its bottom right if you you hold the board vertical with the usb port at the bottom.
  13. I have put the battery back in its box and the mod back together minus the board until i sort a replacement.
  14. I think i have gone as far as i can with this now and i have submitted a ticket to Evolv. I will update the thread when i know more.
  15. I didn't buy it a friend did and i am trying to sort it for him. I may have found the problem, when i look at the picture of the board on the ordering page it shows a square chip just above the usb port with 6 pins on each side. When i look at this board i can see that only 4 pins are soldered on the bottom right hand side and the 2 middle pins are tucked under the chip. If that is the case then it must have been a manufacturing fault and my dozy friend never bothered with escribe or checking his battery stats.
  16. I have removed, cleaned and resoldered the main wires and the problem is still there. I can't get a decent picture at the moment because of lighting the flash whites it out and its too dim without the flash.
  17. I am calling at the board as taking the measurements from there rather than at the battery itself IE taking the balance readings from the other side of the connector where the pins come through the board and in the case of main power then from the board where the wires are soldered. It just means i am ruling out any connector or wiring problems. It is beginning to look more and more like a rma problem.
  18. They look fine to me but i will fire the iron back up and take them off and clean them and then resolder them and take a pic.
  19. It will fire and work but will show imbalanced battery all the time and it will report as out of charge because of cell 3 voltage being misreported.
  20. Its showing 12.6 at the board but escribe is showing 11.75 in device monitor. Likewise all 3 cells are showing 4.2 at the board on the back of the balance connector but device monitor is showing 4.2 4.2 3.25.
