Viking Vapes
Hey guys , I just bought a lost vape triad and I was wondering how to set it up on escribe with Samsung 25r's or lg hg2 batteries Thanks!
BillW50
I am using 22.2Wh on my two. I know that is lower than you would think as my two Reuleaux DNA200 are using 27.75Wh I think, but the battery bar works better on a Triade with this value. I am sure I would need to tweak it a bit later, but it is very close.
Viking Vapes
Is that with the nominal voltage at 11.1 and soft cell cutoff at 2.8? Thank you so much
BillW50
Yes 11.1v and soft cell cutoff at 2.8v.

Twill719
I'm new to the DNA200 family, I have the Triade. My question is, in the watt-hour calculator do I put the mAh of one battery(3500) or do I multiple all 3(10500)?
dwcraig1
Use the mah of one cell.
Twill719
Thx dwcraig1
Twill719
When I put my Triade on charge via wall outlet at night and I wake up the next day it's only at 99%. What am I doing wrong?
retird
From my understanding the batteries charge to 100% and the charger stops charging. If the device is left plugged in to charge the batteries have to discharge to a certain level before the charger circuit activates again. So you will see a 99%. 98%, etc. charge level when left to charge overnight. Normal operation as I understand it.
BillW50
How many watt hours did you use for a value? 11.1v x 3.5Ah = 38.85? If so, what are they Efest 18650s?
Twill719
Yes BillW50 those numbers are correct, and I'm using Imren 3500.
Twill719
Thanks retired, that sounds logical!
dwcraig1
I 'm sorry but this needs said so here goes, if this is the green Imren 3500 mah 30 amp (label) cells just be aware that they are most likely 10 amp CDR, might be just a bit higher but less tha 15 amps. Twill719
So my Lgs HG2 is the better cell?
dwcraig1
If you keep it under about 90 watts including preheat those 3500 mah batteries are going to give you some very long vape time and safely. The 20 amp CDR batteries (or higher) are a better choice in my opinion for most users.
Twill719
Yes I do keep it under 90 watts. But why are 20 amps better? I'm new at the batteries, so if you would explain briefly or direct me to good battery info, I'd greatly appreciate it.
dwcraig1
You don't want to exceed what the cell is designed for, this article should get you started.http://vaping360.com/vaping-battery-safety-part-1/Your DNA200 board is capable of trying to draw 23 amps when the load requires it (max wattage)
Matix805
I have a triade and when I replace my batteries with fully charged hg2s it shows the percentage of the batteries I took out. Is there something in not doing? I put 2 batteries in and hit the fire button then put in the 3rd and it recognized the fully charged batteries. Is that what you have to do? BillW50
@Matix805: Do you have the USB connected? As if the DNA never turns off when swapping batteries when the USB cable is connected getting power. And it isn't only my Triade DNAs, but all of my DNA200 mods doesn't update the battery level unless it is asleep (or off) and then wakes up (or turns on). Doyle4
New DNA200 owner here.I also have the Lost Vape Triade with x3 Samsung 25r's 2500mah. I told escribe I have x3, totalling at 11.1v 2500mah and it worked it out at 27.5Wh, should I leave it as is or tweak this? Thanks.
BillW50
I use that for my two Reuleaux DNA200, but my two Triades, 22Wh seems to work better with the same Samsung 25r cells. There shouldn't be a difference really, so don't ask me why.
Doyle4
Thanks for replying @BillW50.I think i'll set mine to 22Wh and see how it performs to 27.5.Thanks again.
Doyle4
Changed from 27.75 to 22.2, the battery bar now seems more accurate, each cell was at 3.89 and battery bar showing just below half full, after changing its now sitting above half way. BillW50
You mean your cells are charged up to 4.20v and it is showing just half way (or charged up to 4.10v)? You could let it to fall asleep (30 minutes) without it being plugged into the USB. Or unplug from the USB and remove one cells for a few seconds and then put it back and see if the battery bar updates.
