Early Firmware and EScribe Suite Discussion Thread
etab75 replied to David Campbell's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
+1 boost for the non color DNA75 as well as the 166/200/250 -
Sorry to hijack your thread OP, but I've uploaded it to the 75C downloads section.

Hopefully a mod maker on here will be able to help, not had a drain issue on my LV Therion, whereas my regular Hcigar VT75 chews through batteries at under 30W.
-
What mod are you using?

Of course. -
Yep I'm wondering here if the actual LED indicator (set to white) is actually brighter than the screen? Well its always interesting to try things out I'm all for it. I have a toggle switch for the debug screen on.
-
There are some limitations to using the Debug>Keep Screen On command but hey ho... had a bash with the default theme (just the basics mind: lock/main/new atty/flashlight). Select Flashlight and turn on light via select. Up/down returns to parent screen ie main. I must say its not that bright, but then again its really sunny in here lol flashlight_demo.ecigtheme

Interesting idea... I'm gonna have a play around see what transpires...
-
Ah well! Yep I've seen mixed feedback, but it looks solid for the low price and the chip is great so...
-
Not sure if this is useful but, Miscellaneous>Debug>Keep Screen On will override any other theme brightness settings. That will apply to all screens though not just a single. No specific screen time-outs I'm afraid.
-
Can you upload the original Vapecige SD75C theme so we can take a look? I'm interested in adding one to my arsenal as a beater model - look fairly good for the price.

+++ SOLVED +++ Bravo Sir! Yep, that worked thanks mate

Just adding the new boost feature to my theme and I've noticed that because the power field is shared (eg Atomizer>Preheat/Boost>Power), the watt limit is still 75W when using Kanthal and not 100W. I therefore went into escribe set 100W manually for a Watts profile, thinking that'll work... uploaded and the max is still 75W on the device Bug or am I missing something obvious as per?

The boost feature is a welcome addition in SP6, cheers James -
Looks like they got NASA in on that "fix"

That mod has got transplant to Silo enclosure written all over it!

Yep, you need to add the appropriate control source to make it do what you want and then add a condition such as change colour from default when firing (ie true). Pretty much endless opportunities to be creative. The punch feature is numerical - this should work with a gauge quite nicely. Temp mode only unless you have a preheat kanthal profile. Stealth level is a 3 stage dim feature so yep brightness to nothing at all when firing, menu to escape that.

Gotta start somewhere my man! If you are stuck for ideas or fancy trying to make your own graphics, start off with saving a few images from other themes and see how they are composed. The graphics are very small and often benefit from transparency (that's where Gimp comes in). That way, you can change background wallpapers without having to make new images such as battery meters, buttons and what not. I must say I spend more time on Theme Designer than actually vaping lol

Nice and tidy that John!

Design them myself in Paint and then finish off in Gimp. You just need to knock out two different states ie on/off, empty/full and that's about it!
