  1. Cheers Wayneo, just never had it before, no doubt some testing... Lost Vape probably should start doing a leak test as well lol
  2. Got a Drone the other day, probably should have googled "drone issues" prior to purchase, but I've had squonkers before and they all leak to some extent. Oh boy, this thing takes leaking to a whole new level. Briefly tested, barely a bottle (7ml) before the leaking became apparent. See pics. There is literally liquid coming through from underneath the 510 angle connector and dripping into the positive terminals straight into 2 brand new Sony batteries (now full of liquid) and bubbles of liquid through the centre of the mod and coming out of the bottom lol The tubes are secure its the 510 when an atty is screwed on. One door magnet fell of on day one and the overall feel is flimsy. The DNA250C chip is fantastic, big thumbs up there, but unfortunately this mod cannot be used, its not safe in my opinion. One more interesting thing was when hooked up to escribe, it said the stats had been reset once (?). I've never had a "new" DNA mod that the statistics had been reset before, always says "0". Not saying its used, looked mint, shrunk wrapped, the mod in selothane, no juice residue anywhere, just struck me as odd. I never reset my mods. Pretty gutted about this experience, love DNA chips but there are so many poorly made devices out there.
  3. Thanks dwcraig1, well, my Drone turned up today and its like yours and my SD75C! I can only assume nothing has changed or luck of the draw either way ,no big issue, just interesting to see what other users had, cheers for the replies.
  4. Thanks for the reply. That is very interesting, I probably should ask the supplier to see what they say. I've got a Drone enroute so it'll be interesting to see if a current mod has the same or better screen. Maybe its just pure luck lol
  5. Hello everyone, long time no see! Last week my Therion screen developed a black oval spot, so I ordered a new one from modmaker.co.uk Fitted with no problem, but what was interesting was the new screen has much better contrast especially when viewed from odd angles. My SD75C and the previous screens pretty much whited out when viewed from anything other than straight on. Just wondering have the screens been upgraded, ie better quality? Not been active on here for a while so may have missed something. See pic, same brightness and theme (one of my own), the Therion screen looks so much better, blacker blacks etc.
  6. Sounds like a theme issue, upload the stock theme and see if it happens again.
  7. Yes I agree sir, in addition I'd still like to see a Celsius option for board/room temps when charging on the DNA75 (not C lol).
  8. This is a remarkable achievement, thanks James and everyone at Evolv. Well worth the wait.
  9. Check your image sizes.
  10. Same here, an early firmware release on the 75C could feasibly iron out any issues faster than on the 250C, based on there being so many 75C units out there - but what do I know?!
  11. Do you mean the theme? If so its here...
  12. Any info on when the non colour DNA75 will get such goodies James? Liking the copy/paste multiple controls feature, really speeds up theme production
  13. I tend to agree with the notion that it could be theme related. I've designed a fair few themes that have produced lag due to image loading issues, so its reasonable to surmise that buggy themes could negatively effect battery life. 24,000 puffs on one of my 75C's and no draining other than from just normal use, that on some tired LG's. Funnily enough, just retired those today with new VTC6's, so will keep an eye on them.
  14. Version 1.0.0

    360 downloads

Stock Vapecige DNA75C theme as used on the SD75C and Creator (the only difference with the latter, is the word "Creator" is used instead of DNA75C on the lock screen).
  15. Thanks for the link giz_60, that explains a lot, as I was experiencing a few issues manually setting the year a few days ago.
  16. Ahhh I see, must have missed that one, thanks for the heads up!
  17. Anyone else experience this today? I woke up to find both my DNA75C's were displaying 1/1/17, rather than 1/1/18.
  18. Could be a 510 connection issue, especially if the Goon works normally on other mods. What coil material are you using and are you on the latest service pack ie SP27?
  19. Not familiar with the BF version, but as the upper squonking section was designed for such and as there is no way the battery would make contact with this section without serious modification, I'll safely say, no chance!
  20. @James For my needs its perfectly acceptable - I'm not a huge power user (under 30W usually) so its a smooth curve. I'd be interested to see what big hitters think, that why I was leaning towards setting a power figure rather than a specific percentage increase. But as you pointed out this is more user friendly way of getting continuous albeit short boosts, so thanks for that James! In addition If 7-8 is good for the Brandon-meister I'll stick with it
  21. @Dragonlore I don't know the tech specs on the Boost Punch but it applies a modest "boost" (no pun intended) based on the actual power setting. I haven't really looked into it or done the maths, but a quick test revealed at 25.8W and a boost of 7, provided 31.1W (for a brief moment) and a last power reading of 27W off a 4.8s puff / 0.5Ω Kanthal single coil. Personally I don't mind the new way, but would prefer the option to have both ie boost time/power (it also meant I had to change all my themes... again!).
  22. @Dragonlore the Boost Time option has gone with SP27, replace it with Boost Punch. In addition Boost Power has also gone.
  23. Looks like you have been infected by the YiHi virus Seriously though, one for James I think.
