  1. I recommend 9A-10A so you don't run into 'Weak Battery' .. oddball cutoffs .. or other errors. If someone constantly runs at 100W then a much higher draw for the same reasons. It is NOT a contest to get the highest Wh numbers, instead to have trouble free vaping!!!
  2. Yep .. it will start once the battery is fully charged.
  3. You can use the Ohm Calculator http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms-law-calculator 0.7 for 10A is 70W
  4. I agree, my feeling is Windows XP SP3, USB 2.0 and 4GB RAM. I think the RAM was your problem. Pfft I even looked at the Developer website and then the documentation and nothing http://www.dimensionengineering.com/info/describe
  5. 1 Ohm 40W is 6.3A that's a little low, but it depends on how you vape. I test with 9A~10A.
  6. You need to disable Sleep on the PC, I assume the PC us connected to AC, and it takes a really long time .. depending on the Wh of the battery and the load you placed on the Atty and wattage. Hours... Don't forget to upload the results to your Mod once finished and after I'd screenshot and save the CSV file just in case.
  7. I was posting a reply while you added the above. Normally if that happens the solution is to unplug the battery. AFAIK there are no buttons in combination to perform a reset. If you connect to a USB charger does it charge??
  8. It's normal and it's topping off the battery to full. When a battery is fully charged and left on the charger it will discharge a little, balance and trickle charge. It's all normal.
  9. First Eciggity is a very good company so worst case simply arrange an RMA if needed. First, let's try to fix it. Connect your Efusion to EScribe and try a Hard Reboot: Next look at the Device Monitor and see the charge on Cells 1,2 & 3. Full (max) is 4.2V per Cell and minimum (empty) is approximately 3.0~3.1V per Cell, and Unbalanced is > 0.2V~0.3V between highest and lowest: Also, I'd recommend downloading the latest version of EScribe and if required update the firmware. Latest version of EScribe (2015-10-21 EScribe 1.0.35.2) - /topic/66731-topic/
  10. Use all info I posted plus the CSV file, Load Battery Profile (CSV) and then Upload to your VT200.
  11. Here's the thing, it's not a 14.43 Wh LiPo for the use range of the DNA 200 board. Rated vs Actual - Evolv cuts the batteries off above their Rated Cutoff and unless you're using your DNA 200 Mod as a low amperage flashlight (0.5A) you're losing some efficiency (Wh) through heat and battery resistance eg 10A. Trust me use the values I published that are real use case or run your own Battery Analyzer. I run all the Analyzers on every DNA 200 Mod not one is at Rated, and they're all (one expection) lower than Rated / theoretical.
  12. I think I just replied to you, download your Battery Profile and look at the CSV file. Full 100% should be 4.2V and empty 0% around 3.1V. If you run the Device Monitor look and compare Cell 1, 2 and 3 they should be the same or within ~0.1-0.2V while charging. If it's much more than you have a LiPo that's out if balance. Here are some user tested numbers that I'd use over the Evolv's defaults. HCigar does not properly setup their Mods and uses IMO cheap inferior LiPo's. Settings: Wh = 11.09 Battery Profile (CSV) http://www.filedropper.com/hcigarvt200battery Cutoff (V) = 3.09
  13. Look at your Battery Profile, download the file and it should be 100% at 4.2V with 0% somewhere around 3.1V. Here's a user VT200 Battery Profile and info: Wh = 11.09 Battery Profile (CSV) http://www.filedropper.com/hcigarvt200battery Cutoff (V) = 3.09
  14. DANGER WILL ROBINSON .. DANGER!!!! Holy cow your batteries are WAY, WAY overcharged!!!!!! Take the battery out and IF possible connect it to something to DISCHARGE. You're at a CrAzy 5.82V per cell, normal full is 4.2V per cell. Your LiPo is dangerously overcharged!
  15. Bad battery that's probably way out of balance, and apparently the board is okay. I did note some issues from others with some of the screws causing TC instability. The ground on the Balancer could be misreading the battery. You can try a Hard Reboot, check the board's screws for tightness and reseat both the Battery and Balancer connections. Ideally, if you have a LiPo Charger with Balancer only charging and or regular charging then charge the LiPo outside the Mod. If you have an Voltage Meter with DC 12V you can check the Taps to see Cell voltages. Here's a good video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIbHLacozFo
  16. Post a screenshot of your Device Monitor; see attached. I assume on your PC that you can charge, read live data, and obviously update your Mod. Further, I assume that your Mod is fully functioning when used for vaping.
  17. I was looking at your Dell's specs, Windows XP, 1 GB RAM, etc .. what I'd recommend next is finding a PC that you could at least try to use to absolutely rule in or out your PC. That's my feeling all along. Additionally, I assume you're using the supplied USB cable that came with your DNA 200 Mod. Evolv doesn't publish minimum system specs but I've got to imagine your PC falls in that arena.
  18. All at once. If you have problems booting, you shouldn't, then Enable Dell software.
  19. There's an Escribe simulator - http://www.evolvapor.com/guide/story.html and on the bottom left there's a Custom TCR's section. Once you have your DNA 200 Mod connected your change the wire type on a Profile from Ni200 to Custom, you'll see a link for Custom Materials, click on the Calculator link, under Wire Builder select your wire type, under Temperature Control results click on DNA 200, click Download TFR table as CSV. Go back to Enscribe and the Profile, click Load CSV... and lastly click the button towards the top Upload Settings to Device. Escribe Profiles: Creating / Selecting custom TCR's
  20. I'm still thinking this is an issue with your PC, you skipped over the MSCONFIG changes. Click on the Start menu and type in MSCONFIG, apply the following changes and then restart your PC. edit: If you have selectively Disabled any items manually before then make note of them otherwise to undo these changes click Enable All and restart. Question - what PC do you have?
  21. That's why it seems more like a PC issue. You could try MSCONFIG and disable both Startup and non Microsoft items. In Escribe perform a Hard Reboot of your DNA Mod. I assume you're using the most current version of Escribe /topic/66731-topic/ and the firmware has been updated.
  22. Does your PC Sleep or Hibernate, if so disable it. That's the first thing I change on my PC before running these tests.
  23. No. Fully charge, Update the battery profile information and tweak settings as you want, and then vape as normal (disconnected from your PC) until the battery is fully drained. I do this with all my DNA 200's and it seems to pay off.
