1. yup, i had forgotten about that completly, that said, it all checks out, which im pumped about. if i didnt have half my truck apart i would be putting one of these in a mod right now, but it will have to wait til tomorrow
2. looks likem they are. time to give them a home.
3. i got my hands on a pair of dna75 chips, are these legit? well, lemme plug em into escribe, that should tell me
4. well, i built myself a new machine, and am not installing windows anywhere on this one, even thru a VM it still manages to be loaded with issues, anyone come up with any other ideas?
5. interesting, i was at .002 with a ti/ni dual clapton build and it was telling me the resistance was low, hmmm, i may have to go into escribe and make some adjustments
6. Hey fellaz, i have a question. Are there any plans to lower the resistance read and fire limit for temp control in the near future. As someone who likes to experiment with mixed material builds, this starts to become limiting. i would love to be able to use my 22g ni200 too. Im starting to see others going in that direction, and that is a very appealing feature. i may be the minority on this though.
7. for anyone interested, i do have escribe up and running on windows ten thru Virtualbox on ubuntu. You need to get the extension pack for allowing usb devices to work with virtual OS's. There are a few drawbacks. upload and download to and from device are considerably slower, and that leads me to believe you would not be able to run any of the testing ie. battery or case analyzer. I will either confirm or debunk my suspicion later on this evening and report back
8. this would be true for those of us who use nickel only, i though, use many other wires than nickel, and some wire mixes, in which preheat does not perform well, so i have to keep the preheat turned off. anyone using Ti or SS is most likely not using preheat, and that is a good portion of vapers on here. So therefore, changing wattage on a device with no preheat does make a huge difference
9. im actually shocked we have no comments on the fact that changing temp from the main screen is actually in the testing phase right now. i come from the camp of setting the temp where i like it for a particlar juice, and adjusting wattage where i want the vape to be at that point of the day, but, options are nice
10. No, my VaporShark is working the same as when I bought it. Which means that when I switch between RTAs (which I do frequently to avoid olfactory fatigue), I do the change temperature ritual frequently. My primary hope for an update is the ability to adjust temperature from the "main screen" while in TC mode.
You can change temp from the main menu u lock it by pressing the fire buton 5x then u press and hold the 2 menu button together for 5 seconds a d boom u can now change temp hope that helps
appreciate the input! but i think you may have missed the point a bit here, what we are looking for is to be able to set weather or not you would like to change watts or temp from the main screen so you do not have to go through all the button pushes and hold this and do the hokey pokey
11. Switching pc's worked for me but without knowing the minimum requirements, I don't know what aspect of changing computers fixed the problem
12. im runnin the jaquith v7 in my 30mm asmodus dripper with tripple twisted 24 gauge 317l from unkamen, 10 wrap 3.5 mm contact coils, and it is working beautifully, 100 watt 1 second preheat with punch at 3.3, runnin at 80 watts @475
13. i think you may be right with the RAM. i have 4GB of RAM i had gotten for my audio recording laptop i never used, might be time to see if i can upgrade this machine...i am surprised that neither site has any information regarding this
14. maybe the guys will read this and put up the minimum system requirements in a sticky somewhere ::cough:: ::cough::
