The DNA200 has a 1a charger built in and is designed to be used with any 5v USB power source so I don't see why not. Most power banks have at least 1 1a port. Even with the older 500ma ports, the DNA200 would charge at 500ma. It would be slow at half speed but it will charge.

I did get the replacement board (thanks!). I could try to replace it but I was waiting for Hana to respond to my e-mail (probably won't be until Monday). I didn't want to be stuck with a $200 brick. I'm still vaping on it so it's working fine. I'm guessing it's a pinched display ribbon wire. Everything looks good in Device Monitor in Escribe while vaping. No dips in voltage or power.

The one I build has been working great for 9 days now. My Hana lasted about 24 hrs before the screen died but it's still working.

Screen is completely dead now. Mod still fires and works fine. Might be the screen ribbon is pinched under the fire button?

My v200 screen just died completely. Before it was just when I hit fire for more than 1 sec. Now it won't even light up after a reboot.

So it's marketing to ignorant people. Should we be offended? Maybe.

Any way to remember the last window size for both Escribe and Device Monitor? I hate that it opens to full screen all the time. The options in Properties doesn't change the window size. Also, in Device Monitor, can it remember the settings that are selected on the left side of the window? Thanks!

I'm having the blank screen issue similar to everyone else here but it works when I reboot (soft or hard) from Escribe. It's not in stealth mode. The screen shuts down when I press fire for more than 1 sec and won't come back unless I reboot or upload a config. I tried updating to 7-29 and no change. The mod works fine otherwise with the screen shut down (blank). I thought it might be the preheat @60w so I changed it to 40w, then 20w and no change in behavior. My printed DNA200 has been flawless. I just installed XT30 connectors and it still works great. One thing I noticed under the Screen tab, the Active field is double what you put in. I had 5 sec and it would be active for 10 sec. This was in a previous build (7-16?).

I have 2mm bullets that I used in my Hana mini clone when I installed a DNA40 with an 18650. *And thanks for replacing my DNA200 so quickly!!!

Those are cheaper and use philips head screwdriver. The T5 strips pretty easy.

I just saw those pics. I haven't opened mine up yet but I'll be replacing it with a XT30 connector.

I would disagree that most buyers of this chip are looking at the 200w as the main reason. I vape at 20w with a Ni200 coil (.10? with 28g, 440°F) and with a 1300mah 3S battery, I get at least 1.5 days of heavy vaping. I love my 5 DNA40 mods but I wanted all the extra features of the DNA200. I probably won't ever vape over 40w even on my drippers. I use 25w on a dual coil .75? kanthal build on my drippers just to taste new juices and if I want to blow clouds (rare). *edit* I watched those videos with Evolv (Brandon and John) and that's what really got me to buy my first DNA40. Even with the screen glitches (only 1 of 7 that I owned), they vaped way better than anything else I owned (just a bit better than my DNA30's). TP was a bit challenging at first but once I got the nuances of NI200 builds, I can't go back to kanthal. In fact, Ni200 works so well for me, I haven't even bothered looking at titanium.

I got a print from Sculpteo. They give up to a 30% discount for economy shipping (usually a week later). I went with that and got mine within 10 calendar days. I got economy shipping too but it shipped overnight from France. They use a SLS printer and it's very precise.

Is the display ribbon pinched? I had the same problem with my 3d printed box by BlueRidgeDog. The screen would blank out when I touched the fire button. I replaced it with a display from my other DNA200 and it works now. I carefully pre-bent the ribbon so it would collapse down and away from the fire button when installing and it's working great now. I need to find/buy/steal another display for my other DNA200 now.

Is there any way to launch Escribe to the same size as the last window size opened? Every time I launch, it goes to full screen even when I set properties.

I figured it'd be a great deal for anyone looking for a tablet. The deal with free 4g for life of the tablet is pretty good. I ride a 450exc now but I've owned quite a few KTM's including a 950 Adv. Talk about a pig in single track

John, I pm'd you about my issue too. From the previous pic, it looks like one of my resistors got knocked off but not completely. I'm not sure if I can solder something that small back on.

I've been using standard 60/40 rosin core solder (Radio Shack) with a 40w Weller soldering iron on my DNA40 builds. I use Kester 951 liquid flux too.

It's either a 1300mah with overstated specs or the dimensions are wrong (1500mah will be thicker than 20mm, closer to 26mm to 28mm). Hobbyking has better pricing on batteries but shipping kills the deal unless you buy 2 or more.
